It won't change everything

“Actually, when Chelsea called you back then, she lied to you.”

Veon rounded his eyes, “what do you mean? but yesterday it was Chelsea's birthday.”

“But he asked your permission, not to take me to his birthday party with his friends. But..but he asked permission to marry.”

Veon's two eyes are getting perfectly rounded, “what are you saying? Don't joke, who will Chelsea marry? Why didn't he tell me at all?”

“She...she married Alex.”

“What?” Veon clutching both arms of Kania, “don't joke you! How could Chelsea possibly marry that jerk!”

“But that's actually the case, Chelsea was already married to Alex, yesterday.”

Veon let go of his grip, he then moved from his seat, “I have to meet Chelsea, I will ask him directly, why he did all that without asking permission first the same as me.”

Kania pulled Veon's hand when the man was about to step foot, “free, Chelsea was not living in this house, this afternoon he had packed all his belongings and left together with Alex.”

“Argghhhh...! goddamn bum! Why didn't you tell me at all, why? don't you know how dangerous Alex is!” Veon shouted very loudly, even he did not care if the one in front of him was his own wife. Anger is currently controlling him, “now what should I do? What, huh!”

Kania did not expect Veon's reaction to the stew, she even yelled at him, “a—ku sorry, I did not mean to hide this from you. That night I asked you, and you told me you gave Chelsea permission, I thought you had.”.

“I'm sorry you won't be able to change everything. Now Chelsea has to live with that jerk, do you know that?” Veon was already unable to contain his anger, he could not imagine what would happen to his beloved sister.

Kania lowered her face, it was all her fault, if that night she did not immediately believe that when Veon allowed Chelsea to marry Alex, it would never happen. Veon wouldn't even be this angry with her. Kania did not notice when both corners of her eyes began to shed tears.

Veon does not want to vent his frustration to Kania, but he has not been able to forgive Kania's mistake of hiding all of it from him. The man rushed out of his room, he wanted to calm himself down.

Outside, Zaki was sitting on a park bench staring at the night sky filled with flickering stars. The man was holding a red velvet box, it was a box containing a ring. Zaki accidentally bought it when Veon bought a gift for Chelsea.

“What Chelsea will receive my present huh? Is he still mad at me?” Zaki opened the velvet box, saw a ring with a jewel accent on it, “with this ring, I want to apologize for my treatment that night. I also want to propose to him.”

Eca who saw Zaki sitting alone on the park bench also took the initiative to approach the man, “what can I sit here?” he asked when he was right in front of Zaki.

“You, you haven't slept?” Zaki then stuffed the velvet box into his suit pocket.

Eca sat her body next to Zaki, “I don't know if you're home? Shouldn't sister be home in 2 days?”

“Not too long, everything is done, so we go home early.”

“What ring will brother give to Brother Chelsea?”

Zaki smiled, “you've seen it yes. I'll give the ring to Chelsea, I want to propose to her and apologize for my mistake at the time. I miss him a lot, for a few days I've been reflecting on my mistakes back then, and I shouldn't have said all that to Chelsea.”

“Kak..” Eca looked at both of Zaki's eyes then shook her head, “better brother undo the brother's intentions?”

Zaki scrunched his forehead, “what's the matter? do you want to prevent me from marrying Chelsea?”

“It's not like that, I just don't want big brother disappointed and hurt later.”

“What do you mean? if Chelsea will reject my proposal, I will still wait for him.”

Eca clasped Zaki's hand, “Kak, I love you, love you so much. Can't you love me at all?”

Zaki rounded his eyes, “are you crazy?” he shouted while throwing Eca's hand.

“Why am I crazy? Can't I love big brother at all?” both corners of Eca's eyes were already filled with a clear liquid, she was sad not that Zaki rejected her, but she was sad when Zaki would later find out the truth, she would definitely be very devastated when he found out all that.

“Ca, I'm sorry, I can't accept your feelings, because all this time I only considered you like my own sister, let alone our fate is the same, equally orphaned.” Zaki then moved from his seat, “that I loved so far only Chelsea, and only he can have this love.” The man then stepped out of his legs leaving Eca who began to shed tears.

“Because Brother Chelsea already belongs to someone else!” this time, Eca's shout was able to make Zaki stop his steps.

Zaki turned his body to stare towards Eca, “what do you mean?” he asked as he continued to step closer to Eca.

“Because Brother Chelsea is married to someone else. Brother Zaki will not be able to have Brother Chelsea.”

Zaki stopped his steps in front of Eca, he then laughed, “don't ever do such dirty tricks, I won't believe what you say, because Chelsea can't possibly get married. Even if she was married, I would have known, because she would only marry me.”

Eca moved from her seat, she then wiped her tears, “Kak Chelsea did deliberately not tell sister, because she did not want sister tau.”

Zaki tightly gripped both arms of Eca, “don't joke you! How do you want to get my attention so you make up a stupid story like this!”

“Kak! open your eyes! Brother Chelsea does not love big brother at all, the proof is that he chose to marry someone else behind brother.” Eca then brushed off Zaki's hand, “I really love big brother, but I wouldn't do making up such a story just to get sister's attention.”

“S—who is married to Chelsea, say!”

“Big brother must know him, his name is Alex.”

Both of Zaki's eyes instantly rounded perfectly, “Alex! you don't double?”

Eca shook her head, “what am I joking about, Kak Chelsea's husband is indeed Alex his name.”

Zaki clenched both his hands, “fuck! What is Chelsea thinking, why would she marry that jerk?” the man scooped his face violently, he did not expect himself to actually lose the woman he loved so much.

“Now where is Chelsea, should I meet her?”

“Chelsea's sister left with her husband, Chelsea's sister moved to her husband's house.”

Zaki ruffled his hair out of frustration, “Chel, why are you this old me, why? am I not important to you at all? Does everything we've been through all this time mean absolutely nothing to you?”

Eca felt unbearable to see Zaki's current condition, she was eager to hug the man and calm him down, but she simply did not have that much guts to do so.

“Kak, more brother mengikhlaskan Kak Chelsea, maybe this is the best for both of you.”

Zaki laughed cynically, “what did you say, the best for both of us? Have you gone crazy? Don't you know how Chelsea suffered all this time because of that jerk guy, huh!”

“but even so, Brother Chelsea prefers him over big brother, it means Brother Chelsea still loves Brother Alex.” very much

Zaki gripped both arms of Eca, “don't talk nonsense! Till whenever Chelsea will never love that jerk!” the man then took off his hand, “the jerk must have threatened Chelsea, I have to save Chelsea, I will bring him back.”

Eca pulls Zaki's hand, “what brother has gone mad? Conscious, Brother! Chelsea's sister is married, so the one who is more entitled to Kak Chelsea is now her husband, not brother!”

Zaki was sitting on his body that felt so limp, the news that he heard at the moment was very soul-shaking, he did not expect Chelsea would do all this to him. The man squeezed his head very strongly, “arrggghhhhh! Goddamnit!”

Eca sat her body next to Zaki, “ I know what you are feeling right now, but Kak Zaki should be able to accept all that, because that is the life path chosen by Kak Chelsea.”

“How can I accept all this, for me Chelsea is everything, she is the encouragement of my life, half my soul. Without Chelsea, I wouldn't be able to do all this. You don't know, me and Chelsea have loved each other since we were in high school, but because of my stupidity, I've lost him. I don't want to lose him a second time.”

“But, Brother, now that Brother Chelsea is married, sister can't do anything either. Is brother going to ruin Chelsea's wedding?”

“So, do I have absolutely no hope of being able to get your love even if it is just a little?” Eca wiped her tears that had dripped down her cheeks, “Kak Chelsea, why do you have so much heart to hurt a man as good as Kak Zaki? If I were a big brother, then I would love Brother Zaki with all my heart, I would never hurt him.”
