[Dimitri & Eden Conversation before Chloe enters]

“You're sure Chloe's pregnant right away?” Eden closed the red book that was in his wrinkled hands.

“So morning I was able to kiss horm*on his changed body. She is 100% pregnant with my son,” Dimitri said proudly.

“Congratulations, sir. Soon you will be a father. From this book, women who contain vampire children will give birth within 1 month. The delivery will run like an ordinary human, the child will also be born like an ordinary human.”

Dimitri looked out the window, he could already imagine a young boy wandering in his spacious courtyard. Chloe was there too. Playing with their kids.

Dimitri shook his head. Chloe will forget that she once bore a child into the world. Chloe won't be by their son's side and watch him grow up.

“Yes, the child will grow up like an ordinary human until he is 17 years old and after that he will not age again.”

Eden nodded her head, “But she will have great strength. A vampire born into the world from the womb of a human is even stronger than someone who becomes a vampire due to a bite. Are you ready to raise that child by yourself?”

“Of course, I have been waiting for him for almost 1 millennium.”

Dimitri thought that the child Chloe gave him would be the most beautiful gift for his 1000th birthday.

“You don't know whether Chloe will receive this news happily or not. If he asked you to turn him into a vampire, how?”

Eden understands Chloe's unlikely nature to accept the fact that she must part with the child she contains and be born into the world.

Which mother would be willing to part with her own child?

But Dimitri is too stubborn, he doesn't want to turn Chloe into a vampire. Whatever the reason, it's not Eden's business. Eden only wants to serve his master, so he can continue to live in this world.

“She has no choice, old grandma. If I say that she should give birth to my son in the world safely, then she should do it.”

“I heard, you've made an arranged marriage with Princess Adreana? The daughter of Mr Petrova?”

[Chloe’s POV]

“I will not give birth to this child!! If need be I'll kill him with my own hands and you can't prevent it, Dimitri!”

My emotions can no longer be contained, I feel betrayed, lied to and played with.

“Better I die with her than I have to give birth to a vampire child to the world!”

Mr. Dimitri slapped my cheek, “I know you must be panicking and surprised but watch your words, Chloe. You must deliver this baby to the world safely. You also do not need to work anymore, from now on you sleep in the room next to my room.”

I held onto my cheek that was still sore from her slap, looking at her with a hatred that I had never felt in anyone else in my entire life.

“I hate you, Dimitri!”

“I don't care what you feel for me, little babu. I only care about my son. Go pack your things and move to the upper room. I'll have Denis clean that room.”

I didn't want to see his face again and hurried away from the room. With a definite step, I did not directly obey his orders to pack my things that are only a little.

But I stepped out of the back door and into the garden, where I looked down and looked for something. When looking for plants for kitchen purposes, I saw the shape of the leaves that I remember very well what the benefits are.

My hand trembled as I plucked one of the little leaves, then plucked it again and again, until a handful was gathered. I hurriedly put it in my shirt pocket.

That night, I slept next to Mr. Dimitri's room. Gladys cleaned this room and she looked at me cynically as I entered.

“Don't expect much, Chloe! Mr. Dimitri gave you this room so he could more easily sneak into your bed.”

I lifted my chin, trying to look tough in front of Gladys. After all, Gladys and the others will forget this incident ever happened.

“I didn't do it for you! This is Mr. Dimitri's order. Huh!” Gladys nyosor came out of the room and slammed the door.

I was really tired, but I put my little things down. I just brought a picture of my mom and some old clothes. After finishing it, I clutched my mom's picture and cried sobbing on the bed.

Mama, I'm pregnant. But I don't feel happy, ma! How can I be happy if the child I later gave birth to in this world should I let go?

“Chloe..” A hand shakes my shoulder.

I turned my head and saw Mr Dimitri's worried face, I hissed, “You what are you?! Not enough to make me miserable?!”

“Do not cry, darling. That's not good for your content.” Mr. Dimitri wiped my tears.

Stupid, thousands of fools! Mr. Dimitri is only worried about this child, not me.

“One month is not a long time, Chloe. After you give birth, I will take you for a walk and a ride. How?”

I just shut up.

Mr. Dimitri stroked my stomach, “You will definitely give birth to a strong and handsome child for me, Chloe. He will inherit his mother's kindness and courage.I will tell you about how you tried to kill me with a small knife,” he said while chuckling softly.

I turned my face away and just kept quiet.

“Chloe, I just drank your blood last night. I thought I could control myself not to drink your blood anymore, but once I got into this room, I couldn't stand it..”.

Mr. Dimitri clasped my chin, making me look into his black eyes that I hated so much.

“You are pregnant and should not be exhausted. So I'll just have a little drink, ok?”

My hands unbuttoned my collar and shifted my clothes to the side, I turned to look at the window, giving it my neck column with resignation.

What am I fighting for? I can't win with a vampire.

Mr. Dimitri kissed my neck and stuck his canine teeth in there. I almost let out a groan, but I held back and bit my lip until it bled.

I hate you! I hate you! I hate you, Dimitri!

But there was no expression on my face, I let her drink until she was satisfied.

“Thank you, Chloe. Why?” ask her while licking my neck.

“Actually I want to do it again with you, damn it! I'd better get out of here before I can't control myself.”

Mr. Dimitri covers me and kisses my forehead, “Good night, darling.”

Then he peeps my stomach, “Good night, my baby boy.”

The man stood there looking at me for a moment, I just closed my eyes. Not long after, I heard my door close.

Chequek!

I took out a picture of my mother from behind a pillow and hugged her again, my tears dripping down.

Dimitri was even convinced this child was a boy!

My hand slid into my stomach under the blanket, only this time I grabbed it, and said softly to the dark room lit only by the fire from the fireplace.

“I'm sorry mom, son. But you must not be born into this world. You must understand why mama did it. Sorry, my baby boy.”.
