[Flashback 18 Years Ago]

Edric Suarez clutches a crazy woman's body without clothes on his mattress. A thread of sweat drenched his body as they had just finished int*im, the woman's breathing was still panting as Edric kissed her forehead gently.

“Mr Suarez, we can't keep doing this. I have a husband and a son. This will be the last time,” said the woman grudgingly.

Edric was the ambassador of the Azov kingdom stationed in the Rudolmuv kingdom. He was given the servicing of the residence by the chef and servants by King Rudolmuv.

One of the servants who immediately attracted her was Sofia. This woman has blue eye beads and long brownish blonde hair when stroked. The smell of his blood aroused Edric's excitement and as a vampire, it didn't take long for Edric to conquer this human heart.

When Edric first bit and sucked Sofia's neck, Edric immediately knew that this woman was the man who was destined for him. Fate has brought them together at the age of Edric 690.

Edric smelled a scent around the woman's body, and was a little surprised when he said, “You're pregnant, Sofia. You've been pregnant with my son.”

Sofia flinched and sat on the bed, her hands clutching the blanket to cover her chest.

“What is Mr Suarez? We just did it a month ago! And I always remind you not to go out inside! I can't get pregnant this fast, sir. You scared me.”

Sofia's mind is upset, she knows they're having an illicit relationship. Edric Suarez has a family in the Azov kingdom. He was only assigned to work here as an ambassador. But Sofia can't help herself, Edric is a charming and kind man.

Sofia can also understand when Edric says that he is not an ordinary human being. Edric's bite marks could not be lost from his neck, every night Edric would ask him to go into the room and drink Sofia's blood.

On the one hand, Sofia wants to refuse because she already has a husband and daughter who is only 2 years old. Sofia always promises not to continue this forbidden relationship again, but one night continues with the next night.

“Sorry, Sofia. But in the first round I was late pulling out and it seemed like my seed was directly planted in your womb. There's nothing to fear, Sofia. I'll take care of you.”

“Can't, sir! I have a son waiting for me at home. It's insane! Tell me that you're kidding, Mr. Suarez.”

Sofia waited for a laugh from Edric's mouth, but his handsome face was so serious. Edric has hazel eye beads and soft brown hair, his skin is pure white and well groomed. But Sofia does not want to divorce the husband she also loves.

“How is it, sir?”

Chief Edric thought of all the ways to make Sofia be able to give birth to their child safely. Suarez's extended family must not know that Edric impregnated a human.

Suarez is the oldest and largest vampire family in the world, they do not serve one of the kingdoms. But give freedom to his family members to make decisions as long as they all agree.

One of the things that should not be violated is giving birth to a vampire baby from the human womb. Vampires born this way will have unstoppable powers, they can pose a threat to Suarez. That's why it's so banned.

If caught, then the mother and baby will be killed and burned alive!

“Wear your clothes, we'll go somewhere, Sofia.”

They rode into an old hut in a dense forest, a cold night wind blowing through Sofia's cheap coat. Edric knocked on the door hard.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

The wooden door opened and a wrinkled-faced grandfather and unkempt hair, emerged from behind the door.

“Ah! Mr. Edric Suarez. What can this old witch do for you?”

The witch?

Sofia's hair stood up and she glanced at Edric worriedly.

Does Mr Suarez want to abort this? My God, I have committed adultery but this child is innocent. Although I can't believe that I could get pregnant this fast, but if there was a child in my womb, I would raise her.

“Sirius, I need your help to protect the child who is in this woman's womb.”

The old witch, Sirius, glared and saw Sofia's belly covered in a cloth coat.

“Please enter, sir, miss.”

They stepped into a dark, stuffy hut that was only lit by a few candles. The fire in the furnace was burning, it seemed like Sirius was cooking something.

“Force this narrow servant's place. Please sit down, ladies and gentlemen.” he pointed at the wooden chair.

“Sofia, this woman is Sofia and she just got pregnant with my son. I want this child to be born safely into the world, but his identity must not be known. No one should know that this child is a vampire.”

Sirius nodded, “I understand, sir.I can already feel the power of the child who is in your womb, Miss Sofia. But he won't turn into a vampire before he's 18, right?”

Edric Suarez nodded, “True. This child will grow up like a normal human being until he is 18 years old. But you must lock his power, Sirius. Otherwise my family members can find her whereabouts.”

Sirius stepped back, sounding like he was preparing something.

Edric stroked Sofia's tense shoulders, “Quiet, Sofia. This old witch is an old friend of mine. He can help us.”

Sirius came back and in his hand was a cup, “Drink. This will strengthen your body as the spells I will be giving you can impact your body as well. Are you sure you're going to lock this kid's power, Suarez?”

Edric Suarez nodded confidently. The safety of this child is more important than anything else.

“But this mantra has its side effects. This child may be born disabled.”

Sofia had just drunk half a sip and coughed when she heard Sirius say.

“What? You want to cast a spell that can make this kid disabled? We better not do it, Mr. Suarez. There must be another way.”

“Quiet first, miss Sofia. He can be born disabled, either mute, deaf or unable to walk. But after the age of 18, this boy will turn into a vampire. All his illnesses will recover and he will become immortal.”

Sofia scrunches her forehead at Edric, with a nod from her master, and Sofia accepts the fact that she is about to give birth to a disabled child.

After that Sirius held onto Sofia's stomach and chanted a spell in a language that Sofia did not understand. But there was no pain or weirdness when he did it.

They left Sirius' old hut. On the way home, Sofia clutched Edric's body from behind and rested her head on the man's back.

“What will this be the last time we meet, Mr Suarez?”

Edric pulled his saddle and the horse they rode stopped in the middle of the forest which was only illuminated by the moonlight.

“Sofia. I had to let you go to ensure the safety of you and our son.”

Edric's hand stroked Sofia's cold hand, “Thank you, Sofia. We will meet again, Sofia. But sorry you have to forget me, Sofia.”.

Edric got off his horse and Sofia looked at him confusedly and followed him down. The man gave her a deep kiss for the last time and sucked her blood which had become opium to Edric Suarez.

“Ahhh, Mr. Suarez.. Don't stop,” Sofia erang as Edric takes off his bite.

“I love you, Mr. Suarez,” said the woman with soft eyes looking at the man in front of her.

Edric smiled sadly and before flicking his finger, he said, “Sofia, I love you too. If this child is born, give her the name Elizabeth.”

SNAP OUT!

Edric Suarez erased all of Sofia's memories of her being a vampire. In the mind of the woman, Sofia has had an affair with Mr. Suarez, the ambassador of the Azov kingdom and has been pregnant for 8 months. 1 month more she will give birth to a baby girl to the world.

Edric Suarez throws his head up and howls in the sun. His heart ached but he was willing to sacrifice for the safety of two important people in his life.

Letting go is a common thing a vampire should do. But this is too much for an Edric Suarez who has lived for 690 years. Not felt, his tears were flowing.

[Erik & Sofia's House 18 Years Ago]

“Who are you pregnant with, Sofia??! Tell me honestly right now! I only went to sea for 1 year and came home only to find my wife was two?! You cheated!!”

Erik was a sailor, if the captain of the ship gave him a job, he could go to sea for 1 more year. He is the one who is responsible for supporting his family even though the money he gets is not much. She fell in love with Sofia and they got married 3 years ago, waited 1 year and Sierra was born.

Before going to sea, Sofia had already said her desire to work as well. Helping out their small family expenses and Erik agrees to it because he feels Sofia is not a messy wife. He worked hard and was never tempted by other men.

Erik can leave his small family in peace and trust that Sofia will be faithful. She did not expect, Sofia dared to cheat until she was pregnant with a child!

Sofia sobbed while covering her face with both hands, “Sorry, Erik. She is an ambassador I can not resist. I am afraid of losing my job.”.

“Don't look for excuses!! I can also make money if you get fired, our family won't be miserable!” Erik picked up the vase located on the table and threw it against the wall violently.

Sofia screamed in fear. Her husband was not a light-handed man. Just this time she saw her husband's face so blustery.

Erik pulled Sofia's arm, made her stand up from her seat, “What about Sierra? You don't think about her feelings that she knew this child in your womb wasn't her real sister?”

Sofia has left Sierra to the neighbors. The little boy should not hear the commotion of his parents.

“Sierra shouldn't know, Erik. We can hide this truth.I know you can love this kid, Erik. Even though he's not your real son.”

Erik scrunched his forehead and slapped Sofia's cheek hard until the woman let out a surprised scream.

“Basic women ja*lang!! What sin did I commit to marry a woman like you! I was wrong, thinking you're a good and loyal woman. You think the neighbors won't gossip? I went to sea for 1 year and you will give birth in 1 month!!”

Sofia cries, the neighbors are already whispering and looking at her cynically as Sofia's stomach enlarges and can no longer be hidden.

“How many of you got him huh?”

Sofia shook her head, “Nothing, Erik. I'm not selling my body!”

“Basic stupid woman! You were just played by the rich and thrown away! Don't expect me to raise a child who isn't my flesh and blood. We're getting divorced!!”

Sophia snorted, and knelt at the feet of her husband, begging for forgiveness for her sins. But Erik already had no feelings for the woman. He can't feel sorry anymore.

Disgusts! That's what Erik felt.

“Aaaarggghhh!!”

Sofia screamed with all her might and clasped tightly onto the bedsheet under her sweating body. He thought he would pass out in a moment if this kid didn't come out.

Mother Midwife encourages, “Push on, Sofia! His head is visible.”

“Ugghhhh!!”

Sofia felt that the baby had come out, but was silent. There's no sound whatsoever.

“Happy, Sofia. But...”

In the midwife's hand was a tiny baby still full of blood, the baby's face shriveled and his mouth opened.

But no sound came out!

A single tear fell from Sofia's eyes.

Mute baby. The baby I gave birth to is mute! Maybe it's a punishment from God because I've done a forbidden deed. Why are you punishing my baby, Lord? He's innocent! This baby is innocent because his mother has cheated on him!

“This is my sin... This is my sin..” Sofia said slowly.

“Hush! What did you say Sofia? Every child born into the world has its own uniqueness. They are a gift, Sofia. Look, you gave birth to a healthy baby and I believe this child will make many miracles.”

The midwife smiled and bathed the baby, “Ah! On her back there was even the birthmark of such a beautiful rose petal. What name would you give me, Sofia?”

Sofia closed her eyes tired and said, “Chloe. Her name is Chloe Isabel.”
