On a gripping night, the warship of the Kingdom of Navarre was seen from a distance approaching the Sardinian coastline. Because there was no dock to anchor the 10 large ships, the crew was busy to bring down the wooden lifeboats.

King Nelson smiled inwardly.

‘They wouldn't have thought I'd attack a small castle on the coast of Sardinia. Once I seize and occupy the Sicilian Castle, access to the Kingdom of Azov will be even easier.’

From a distance, there is no activity in the Sicilian Castle. The long, stretched fortress was empty leaping without any bodyguards. King Nelson is getting excited. He thought that this assault would go smoothly without a fight.

He yells at his crew, “Open the lower deck!”

The screams were relayed by other screams until the 10 warships opened the lower deck of their ships, removing the starving vampires and ready to attack. Some of them have changed for three weeks, but many are still one to two weeks old.

Charlie, one of King Nelson's first altered soldiers will command the vampire's army. Although his eyes are still red, his self-control is good.

185 Vampires were lowered to the sea floor, their feet touching the surface and moving forward to the shoreline. One by one their heads emerged from the water. With their bodies wet, they climbed to the ground.

King Nelson was descending from the deck of his ship towards the lifeboat when the sound of a deafening huge explosion rang out from the direction of the beach. Some parts of the vampire's body were thrown and splattered on the cream-white sand. Big smoke billowing.

“WE'RE UNDERGOING!!”

Nelson cursed in his heart. Azov knew that they were going to attack Sicily Castle!! Someone betrayed him.

“Jerrickkk!” furious Nelson. He did not expect his advisors to dare to betray.

After the puff of smoke subsided, suddenly the castle fortress that had been empty was filled with archers who had been aiming from above.

Simultaneously they released fiery arrows towards Nelson's battleship. Shouts rang out from all over the deck, the crew immediately saved themselves and plunged down. The fire blazed violently and spread rapidly, its reflection making the ocean red.

On the coast of Sardinia, Charlie is so angry to see how dozens of his men's bodies were scattered due to landmine explosions. Oh, they can be revived just there's no time now!

He let out such a loud scream and his men ran to attack the castle fortress. At that very instant, the gate opened and hundreds of soldiers came out.

“FORWARD WITHOUT FORGIVENESS!!”

“Dimitri D’Arcy!” Charlie's eyes were only on one person who was at the forefront.

“Happy to enjoy your fine dining!!”

The starving vampires attack the soldiers, but Charlie turns his back in shock as their swords draw the hearts of his men. Then his eyes caught a grin on Dimitri's satisfied face.

Charlie grew increasingly furious as he raised his head up the fort and saw an archer in armor complete with hands that very quickly turned off the vampires with a shot right in the heart.

He pulled out a single arrow, the vampire's body shattered and became ashes mixed with the ground. It turned out that the arrow was made of real silver!

Charlie put his body aside swiftly and the arrow that shot towards him pierced his hand. He snarled and moved forward.

“Before I kill you, I will take care of the ones below first.”

He looked to the left and to the right. They were outnumbered, some killed vampires and many failed. After fighting a few warriors with ease, he ended up facing off against Dimitri.

“The Destroyer, this time I will destroy you.”

Dimitri then pulled out the heart from the body that was no longer headed.

“Eighty-four,” said Dimitri who counted every vampire he destroyed tonight.

One vampire attacked him, it was a pity that he had to kill them all when they were innocent. This army was formed only because of the ambition of a young king.

“Eighty li—“ He was about to swing his sword to slash when the man's face was already cracked. An arrow stuck in his heart.

Dimitri looked back and saw Chloe on top of the fortress. Others can see his ferocity in archery. Dimitri himself was surprised to see Chloe so adept at pulling and aiming at his target with a silver arrow so heavy.

No one missed.

If only he had the power of teleportation, he would have been on top of that fortress in the blink of an eye just to take off that stupid armor helmet and kiss the woman behind it.

Dimitri flashed a smile as he thought about it and an arrow shot into his heart.

Goddamnit! You want to kill me, Goddess of Death? Even the memory-lost Chloe is still trying to kill me. Do you hate me that way? I would have died in your hands, but not now, darling.

Dimitri quickly brushed off the arrow, then concentrated on eliminating the remaining vampires. He discovers that some of his soldiers have also been changed by the bite of vampire King Nelson.

With a heavy heart, Dimitri had to kill them all.

King Nelson, who had not dared to land, saw the dark sky turn brighter.

“A-what? It's not time for sunrise yet!”

His soldiers stopped attacking. They are more afraid of sunlight than others. A few seconds of their negligence, bringing an advantage to the Azov and Navarre warriors.

King Nelson was made uncommitted. He can't turn around. His ship was already charred in flames and he was also unable to advance. He could only see from the wooden lifeboat with some survivors.

And then in his mind if he turned into a vampire, he wouldn't die easily.

“Pay faster!!”

“K-where, Your Majesty?” ask a man with a trembling tone.

“Of course to the mainland, stupid! Do I need to paddle this fucking lifeboat?”

They swallowed his saliva but did not dare to fight back. Quickly, they reached the mainland and met the vampires who were moving backwards, covering their eyes.

Nelson turned over a vampire and said, “Gigit me now and turn me into a vampire!”

There was no need for Nelson to repeat his words because the man had swiftly attacked Nelson's neck. The only way to stay alive is to become the same as them. His position as King of Navarre was gone.

Vampires cannot be kings, but the most important thing now is to save their lives first!

The eyeballs as clear as the sea water turned red.
