[The Third POV]

“Is she pregnant with your child?”

Say no, Dimitri!

Dimitri turned to face him and with a gentle gaze looked towards the woman lying on the bed.

“Yes, Edric. She's pregnant with my son.”

Whahuh? How dare you impregnate my daughter! Damn you, Dimitriiiii!!

Edric could not hold back his anger anymore and was about to throw a raw bogem into Dimitri's face when they heard Chloe groaning softly.

“Ugh... Where am I?”

They both immediately surrounded the girl. Edric was next to him, followed by Dimitri.

“Chloe, you finally came to your senses. You remember last night you were whipped to unconsciousness?” edric said slowly.

Chloe's eyes immediately swerved wide and she raised her body to stand up but Edric prevented it.

“Mr Suarez, help me. She. I hate him! I hate him!”

Dimitri took one step back hearing Chloe's scream, slapped by her words. Chloe panicked and clasped Edric's hand firmly, her face pale and her body trembling as if remembering the lash for the lash Dimitri gave.

“I'm not a thief, sir. I didn't steal Princess Adreana's diamond necklace. But they don't believe me, Mr. Suarez.”.

Edric Suarez tidied up Chloe's long hair that covered her face, her hands still held tightly by the trembling girl.

“Ssshh.. I've proven that it wasn't you who stole it, Chloe. The missing diamond necklace has also been found. It turns out that the servant who served you, Dorothy was the one who framed you on the orders of Princess Adreana.”

Chloe scrunched her forehead, “Then? What will they do to Princess Adreana?”

Edric shook his head with a disappointed face, “No, Chloe. This problem is considered never to have happened. They are unlikely to announce to everyone that the theft of the diamond necklace was a charade the owner himself created.”

Then Edric looked at Dimitri who was still standing rigidly looking at them there. Edric sat by the bed and Chloe held Edric's hand firmly.

“I came here to say that, Dimitri. King and Mr. Petrova would like to meet you to discuss the compensation they will provide for your nephew.”

“I don't need that compensation. I have been humiliated in front of everyone, unjustly punished.”

Chloe threw away her face, she did not want to see Dimitri's face at all.

“Chloe...” Dimitri was about to get close to the girl, but she instantly dodged further.

“Mr Suarez, I don't want to see his face. Tell him to go!”

Dimitri clenched his jaw hard and said in a high tone, “Chloe... Stop this! I tried not to whip you so hard, that wound would not be imprinted either! If Mr. Petrova were to whip you, your injuries would be worse than this!”

Chloe covered her ears, “Go! I don't want to see you, go!!”

Edric clasped Chloe's body and the girl buried her face in Edric's chest, her shoulders trembling like she was crying.

“Dimitri, I'll take care of Chloe. You go before King Rudolmuv and Mr. Petrova first. She's hysterical.”

Dimitri clenched his hands, he looked at Edric cynically and there was a sense of jealousy in his heart when Chloe was so close to the man he had just met.

“I'll call Eden here. Chloe, after I get back, I hope you stop your overreacting reaction,” Dimitri said.

Chloe raised her head about to shout again but Dimitri had disappeared from that room.

Basic arrogant! Overreaction he said? I have to endure pain and shame.Not to mention there is a child in my womb…

Chloe's hand touched her stomach in worry.

Then she breathed a sigh of relief as Peanut kicked Chloe in the stomach, as if answering her mother's call.

You must be hungry, son.. Mama will find food first... Do you also feel pain when mama is whipped? You're so strong, peanut.

Edric smiled slightly, “You must be hungry huh? I'll have the waiter deliver breakfast for you. You have to eat a lot and nutritious because now you eat for two.”.

Chloe flinched and removed her hand from the top of the stomach. “K-you know I'm pregnant, Mr Suarez?”

Edric stood up and pressed the bell beside the mattress, “No need to fear, Chloe. I will keep your pregnancy a secret. But I want to ask you something.”.

Edric's face turned serious and Chloe gulped, her throat feeling dry.

“What is it, Mr Suarez?”

Chloe looked at the hand lying on her thigh for so long, then took a deep breath and said, “This is my second pregnancy, Mr. Suarez.”

Edric widened his eyes and subconsciously shook the girl's shoulders, but not strongly.

“Where is the first child, Chloe? Have you given birth safely? How long have you known Dimitri?”

Edric's heart screamed painfully, he saw the face of his son who was suffering. Then she remembered Chloe's screams that said she hated the man.

Chloe must have been forced to get pregnant by Dimitri's son of a bitch! I shouldn't have held back from hitting you, you fucking vampire!

Chloe's tears fell into her own palm, “I killed the first child before she could be born into the world, Mr. Suarez, but I deliberately drank the bitter tea to abort my womb, sir. I had failed before I could become a mother.”.

Chloe doesn't know why she's comfortable around Mr. Suarez. Although the man is young, but there is an aura of a father that makes Chloe's heart calm and can be open to express his heart.

“Ssshh... You must have been shocked to find out, Chloe. It's not your fault.” Edric stroked her soft hair.

“And now I'm pregnant with Dimitri's second child. I already love peanut, sir... He can even understand what I said, weird huh? She is only 1 week old but can already kick me.”

Edric stared in admiration at Chloe's stomach. She misses Sofia's pregnancy phase, not having the chance to feel how Chloe is inside the womb of the woman she loves.

“Peanut? What a funny name. B-can I hold your belly?” edric asked doubtfully, he was afraid Chloe would refuse.

But Chloe nodded her head, wiped her puffy eyes and leaned against the head of the bed.

“That's a nickname from his father. We haven't found a name for this boy, mister.”

Edric could not help his excitement and immediately placed his big hand on Chloe's belly that already looked bigger than last night.

Peanut gave a small kick when Edric's hand was on it. Chloe chuckles softly, “Peanut, it's Suarez's uncle. He just wanted to say hello. You're so weird, peanut. Your dad wants to feel your kick, but you're silent.”

Edric was more than happy because he won a lot from Dimitri.

“Really?” eyes glittering.

“Ya, sir... Only you others who feel the peanut kick.”

Ah, my son. It's so beautiful your smile, Chloe. You remind me of your mother, you both have a charming smile even though your eyes and hair are more like me, Chloe.

“Can I hear it?”

Edric did not wait for Chloe's reply and directly lowered his head to the woman's stomach, his hands still on top.

“Ah, she kicked me again, Chloe.”

Chloe replied, Suddenly in the blink of an eye, Edric Suarez's body had already floated and slammed into the wall.

They hit each other. Chloe pulled her blanket tightly, she could only say softly, “Stop! You two, stop this!”

But the two men did not stop, damaging all the furniture around them. The room was shattered, but Chloe's bed was left untouched.

Chloe couldn't stand it anymore, she screamed but the sound coming out of her throat started to disappear. Dimitri had not drunk his blood for 2 days!

“Stopii..”.

“Hey! Oye! What happened?!” Draven went into the room and immediately injured the two vampires who were struggling.

Their eyes were red, canine teeth were both appearing, their faces were shattered but slowly recovered on their own.

“You're crazy? Look what you've done in front of Chloe!” draven screams as he manages to break up.

The two vampires looked towards the woman sitting in fear on the bed.

“Chloe...” Edric first calm, he can control his emotions stable and realize has scared his son.

Edric was about to walk towards Chloe, but Dimitri clutched the man's collar.

“Don't approach Chloe again! She's mine!”
