Mama!

“What is your interest in coming to Navarre Palace?!” exclaim the gatekeeper from above.

Edric took out a dark green badge with deer horns, “I Edric Suarez, the peace ambassador of the Kingdom of Azov wants to meet your king over the messenger of King Azov!”

They whispered, and the other nodded his head and shouted. “OPEN THE GATE!!”

Slowly the large gate to the Navarre Palace was wide open to the five guests. Not many activities within the spacious courtyard of the palace, some of the servants who were pacing back and forth doing their duties were just staring and giving friendly smiles.

Arriving before the big door, a long-bearded and cream-robed man was already waiting for their arrival.

“Welcome, you must be Edric Suarez, the peace ambassador of Azov Kingdom.” He shook Edric's hand.

“Betul. If I'm not mistaken, you must be Jerrick, the adviser to King Navarre.”

“Advisor King Lewis now.” He smiled, then looked at the other four people, “You guys.

Edric introduced them one by one.

“Ah, so you're the one who helped the Azov Kingdom in thwarting Nelson's crazy plans? Thank you very much, Mr. Dimitri. Ehmm.. It's a pity that war commander Azov can't come, but I really want to meet him.”

Dimitri looked at Chloe, “He must also want to meet you, Jerrick. But we didn't come to hear your thanks.”

Jerrick led them all in. But in front of the big door, they were blocked by two doormen who blocked their entrance with two swords crossed.

“Sorry, ladies and gentlemen. All swords and knives must not enter the palace. Please ladies and gentlemen release your weapons.”

Draven does not believe the rules and protests, while Dimitri immediately takes off his sword belt and thrusts at a waiter, followed by Chloe.

“Sorry for the inconvenience. But your weapons will be stored safely.” Jerrick smiled wryly.

“Just follow their rules, Draven. We will leave after meeting with Dwayne,” whispered Adreana.

Submissively, Draven let his sword go.

“Your room has been prepared, as well as lunch.”

“No need, Jerrick. Finished picking up the boy, we will return to Azov Kingdom.” Edric said in an impatient tone.

Jerrick looks disappointed, “Why rush? You will surely be stunned by the beauty of this kingdom. King Lewis would also like to host your arrival.”

“Thank you for your offer, Jerrick.”

“Let's come with me. They must be playing in the park. King Lewis can't separate from the little boy.”

“That's them there, playing with King Lewis' pet eagle.”

In the garden with shady green trees, a brown-haired little boy is seen jumping up and down to reach an eagle perched in the hands of a tall man.

As Chloe and the others approached, the little boy turned his head.

Dwayne blinked his eyes a few times and saw who was holding him.

While at the end there, Edric patted his forehead. Chloe forgot by their agreement not to use her teleportation power in front of humans! So he quickly dispelled the memories of those few seconds from King Lewis and Jerrick.

Chloe smiled gently, “Hai. You must be Dwayne.”

Dwayne turned his gaze to Dimitri who was already standing beside them, then looked at him again. “Mama!”

Chloe flabbergasted. Her little hand held Chloe's cheek. He had only followed his instincts as this child was about to fall and a fool with the presence of humans around him. He wanted to protect this little boy who suddenly called him mama!

“Mama?” Chloe frowned and looked at Dimitri confusedly. He returns Dwayne to Dimitri's arms.

“Dwayne, are you okay, honey? I miss you so much.” Dimitri menge*cup his chubby cheeks.

“He called you papa? So you have a child, Dimitri?? But you... How can you have a child? Or is he just a foster child?”

Her skin was warm, indicating that Dwayne was a human child. Then Chloe remembered that Dimitri had said Dwayne was the same as her. But Chloe doesn't think how Dwayne was born into the world.

The brown-eyed manic was staring at Chloe. Although the little boy's face was similar to Dimitri's, he had the same hair and eye color as Chloe.

Dimitri looked back, “Sorry. Can you guys give us a little privacy?”

Edric nodded and dispersed them all from there. But King Lewis, who had just stared from a distance, finally approached them.

“You're Dwayne's real parents? I already knew that my brother lied when he sent Dwayne here and said that Dwayne was his successor.”

Lewis watched Dimitri from top to bottom. Although in his hands was a small child, but his posture remained intimidating. The look in his eyes showed that he was no ordinary man.

Then Lewis looked at the woman beside Dimitri. She was the most beautiful and charming woman Lewis had ever seen. Too bad he belongs to someone else.

“Bye, Lewis. Later we mess around again yaa.” Dwayne waved his little hand.

After the others all went inside, there were only three of them left in the garden full of the melodious chirping of Lewis' pet birds.

“I feel you're hiding something from me, Dimitri.” Chloe squinted her eyes, “When I asked at the port, you switched the subject. You didn't answer me directly. So I'll ask you one more time.”.

Dwayne was confused to see the two adults. “Mama, please, don't get angry.”

“Sorry, but I'm not your mama, Dwayne.”

The boy immediately frowned and was about to cry. Dimitri patted his back slowly.

“Mama just forgot, Dwayne. Mama doesn't remember that she ever gave birth to an adorable child into this world.”
