Meanwhile, Jemima could only stare at Elena from behind the windowpanes. He did not understand what happened to the relationship, making Evans look so hated the girl.
"Did Master Simon know this?" muttered the woman.
...***...
After cleaning up the coffee spill, Elena began to study some files related to products made by the Wileen Group, as well as several cooperation agreements with other companies.
Although not including the smartest students in school, but Elena's intelligence deserves a thumbs up. In a short time he was able to exemplify a simple presentation in front of Jemima.
"It's great" praised the woman.
"I think the secretary only summarizes the results of the meeting and prepares the meeting materials," said Elena.
"It's not that simple, El. We are like parasites who have to stick and follow superiors everywhere. In fact, many of the secretaries take care of their boss's life as well" Jemima said.
Elena raised her eyebrows. "Why the effect so not much different from the babysitter."
The girl's curse made Jemima laugh.
"Well, I'm going to approach Mr. Evans first. It's lunchtime. Be sure to always ask what lunch menu Mr. Evans wants to eat." Jemima.
"OK!"
Jemima. He knocked on Evans' door and went inside. "It's lunch hour sir, what do you want to eat?" ask the woman later.
"I just want to eat here" Evans replied.
"Alright, I'll call the usual fast food restaurant ordered." Jemima took her phone and was about to call, but Evans immediately restrained the woman.
"Make Elena come in" the man said.
Jemima looked at Evans confused. However, he did not dare to ask anything at all, and chose to obey the orders of the superior.
As soon as Elena went inside, Evans immediately ordered her to go buy lunch at the fast food restaurant that was right in front of the office.
"Sir, we're not just calling?" ask Jemima.
"No. Too long!" answer Evans. His eyes then rolled on Elena.
"It's okay, brother, I'd like to buy myself a meal too." Elena smiled sweetly.
"All right, I'm with you?"
"Don't!" sergeant Evans upon hearing Jemima's offer to accompany Elena. "When you wait for lunch, you help me check these files." Evans pointed to the laptop on his desk.
Elena sighed resignedly. He put a wry smile on Jemima who looked worried.
Without saying much, Elena rushed off towards the restaurant in question.
Along the way, he thought about what menu Evans might want to eat, because the man freed Elena to buy anything. Just for his drink, he asked to buy cola.
Elena immediately entered the elevator that was already open. The break left the girl in a limp in the elevator, as most Wileen Group employees would descend to the lower canteen or leave the office for lunch.
Along with several other employees, Elena entered a fast food restaurant and ordered three large burgers and three colas. The super busy Evans would definitely prefer a hassle-free meal. After all, he did not ask for any specific food.
After buying, the girl returned to the office and took the elevator up to the 20th floor. After knocking on the door, Elena walked into Evans' room and placed three portions of the burger along with the drink onto the guest table.
Evans, who was sitting there with Jemima, checked the contents of the bag.
The man picked up a single burger and directly threw it towards Elena.
Lucky Elena swiftly caught the burger given by the brother. "Thank you ka—"
"Ta–but, Mr. ..," Elena could not continue her words as soon as she saw the cold and gripping eyes of Evans.
Seeing that, Jemima could only look at Elena with a sad look. During this time, Evans is known not to picky food. He received whatever food Jemima bought without much protest.
The woman was certainly unable to do anything to defend Elena at this moment.
"Well, what do you want to eat, sir? Do I want to buy spaghetti?" ask Elena as gently as possible.
"Whatever!" Evans' answer is enough to give Elena a hint. He rushed out to the restaurant.
Although his own stomach was rumbling, but he had to hold it in order to prioritize his boss and brother first.
It took Elena fifteen minutes to get back there. With a reddened face and breath faltering, he placed a serving of spaghetti in front of Evans.
Seeing Evans begin to open his Spaghetti and stir the spaghetti, Elena breathed a sigh of relief. He also wanted to resign.
"The food is cold. Buy another one!" evans exclaimed suddenly while removing the food from his presence. "The time you need is fifteen minutes. You should be here in less than ten minutes so that the food I ask for doesn't get cold. Now, quickly go!
Elena remained silent. His sweat had not dried yet, but he had to run back to buy Evans the food he wanted.
This time, without saying anything Elena immediately left the room of the elder sister. Before his feet were scuffed, he traded his work shoes first with fur sandals that he had prepared.
Along the way to the lobby Elena tried not to release virtual water a single drop. However, it failed. A drop after a drop of clear liquid flowed down the cheeks of the girl.
Elena did not care at all for some employees to notice her tears, as they passed by.
Elena hit her chest a few times to minimize the pain Evans was once again infusing.
"It seems, she didn't want me to be her sister. Hmh! After all, who would want to be the younger brother of that jerk? I'm just unlucky to have the same blood as him!" elena exclaimed as she wiped away her tears many times.
"Miss Elena," said one of the security guards who saw Elena about to go out. He was actually aware of the figure of Elena who had just back and forth to buy food.
"I see Miss pacing back and forth buying food? Who for?" ask the security.
"Ahh, for Mr. Evans. It doesn't fit the menu I brought." Elena smiled.
"What does he want to eat, miss?" ask security again.
"Spaghetti, but I have to hurry so as not to run cold."
After thinking for a moment, the security offered to help Elena and told her to wait upstairs.
Feeling helped, Elena gave up some money and overstated it for the man with the largest nominal.
"I sincerely help Miss," the security officer said.
"I also gave it to my father. Thanks in advance, sir." Elena smiled kindly.
The thirty-year-old security accepted Elena's kindness awkwardly. He rushed to the restaurant, while Elena went back upstairs and waited right in front of the 20th floor elevator.
Sure enough! Not until ten minutes later, the burly security managed to drive him up.
Elena thanked him once again, before finally running towards Evans' room.
What the girl saw hurt her heart. Her reflex stopped her footsteps and was stunned.
Evans apparently was busy chewing on his first order burger, while busy watching Jemima who was checking work on the man's laptop.
Seeing the younger brother coming, Evans guiltlessly told him to leave. He said he couldn't help being hungry if he had to wait for Elena longer.
