Brother has arrived since three days ago, but why until this moment never told me? Just reply to my message, no!
The line of messages Elena sent back came to Evans' phone. This was the twelfth message the girl had sent her, and Evans had not responded to the message at all. Understandably, since arriving home he was preoccupied with the affairs of the warehouse and cafe, so could only read the message sent by the girl. In fact, he also missed several other messages.
Feeling too long to ignore his sister, he decided to return the message. However, just a few words he typed, suddenly a new message came from Elena.
Hey, Evans!
Evans frowned when he read a disrespectful greeting from the girl.
What the hell is going on? You're still alive, right?
A line of a knotty smile was imprinted on the man's face as he read the brazen message Elena sent next.
Don't tell me you're dead, but you can still read my message!
Now, the man who was engrossed in enjoying a can of cold sparkling drinks was wide. He almost spouted his drink out.
"Damn!" chirped Evans. He forgot that the message he had read could be known easily. It is wrong why since yesterday only opened the message, if it does not intend to immediately reply.
Between anxiety and annoyance, he decided to call the girl.
"What's wrong? I've been busy since yesterday and haven't had time to reply to your message." Evans said it without further ado as soon as Elena answered her phone.
The sound of screeching could be heard clearly in the man's ears. "It's okay, just to bother you" Elena replied from behind the phone.
"You are disturbing!" sahut Evans's.
"Well! So I'm interrupting?" yellen was angry.
Evans raised both eyebrows high. "Didn't you say that? I just agree with your words," said the man not to lose.
"You should have rejected my statement, not approved it!" Elena spoke again in a loud voice.
"Okay, I pulled back those words. You're not bothering me at all! Satisfied?" Evans rolled his eyeballs when he heard the laughter from the girl.
"Then, when are you gonna be back here?" elena asked after stopping her laughter.
"I didn't say I was coming back sooner, and my life is here anyway" Evans replied.
"I know." No more voices were heard after Elena said that, until Evans finally opened his voice again.
"What's wrong? Is there anything? You're all right, right? Mom and Dad are okay, right?" Questions spelled out from the man's mouth.
Elena's sweet laughter sounded later. "All good. Then I'll call you back. Hye!"
Without waiting for a response from Evans, Elena immediately hung up her phone unilaterally. That certainly made Evans astonished.
He was just about to call Elena back, Dennis called her.
...***...
Elena looked at her phone with a gamam face. His heart was worried thinking about something that he had been thinking about since last night.
Elena turned on her phone again and typed in a few short messages for her sister. The next second he deleted the message.
It was done by Elena up to three times, before she finally gave up and chose to lie on the bed.
While being busy struggling with her turmoil, suddenly the sound of the door of the room opened. The mother's face appeared from there with a glass of cold juice and chocolate-covered almond cookies.
Samantha placed her tray on the nightstand and sat down next to Elena who was now sitting.
"What's up, honey? It seems you are thinking of something complicated," said the mother as she stroked Elena's cheek.
The girl held her face in astonishment. "Is my face that easy to read, Ma?"
Samantha laughed. "You're Mama's son, of course Mama knows."
Elena was silent for a moment. "Did you see Papa and Brother too?" ask the girl suddenly.
Samantha smiled knot. "of course. Is there something that bothers you? You can tell Mama as usual."
Hearing the mother's offer, Elena shut up. The girl had always relied on Samantha to be her listener when she poured out her heart, and it seemed like Elena had never done it again since she graduated school. He who has now grown up chooses to harbor his feelings and keep all his own.
"There's nothing, Ma, I'm fine." Elena returned Samantha's smile.
Samantha clasped her daughter's hand while patting gently. "You haven't told Mama about anything in a long time. Maybe there's something you want to share, whether it's about your job or your love story" said the mother.
Hearing her mother's last words, Elena gave a small laugh. "I no longer have a romance after the last time, Ma." Elena's words were fixed on Albern, the jerk who almost ruined her life.
Samantha raised both eyebrows. The woman seemed to signal that she knew something.
"Mama why?" elena asked curiously. Somehow an unpleasant feeling suddenly settled in the heart of the girl.
"You know, the bond between mother and child is never as simple as it seems. We mothers can of course realise that something is happening to our children" Samantha said.
"really?" ask Elena back.
"Of course it's true." Graceful laughter adorned the face of Samantha who still looks beautiful despite being half a century old.
The atmosphere between them was suddenly silent for a moment, before the mother suddenly let out her voice again with the calm look of a face as possible. "So how, do you want to keep pretending your memory loss to test your brother's feelings or take your own steps? Remember darling, a living thing called a man will never have a sensitivity like ours."
Elena, who was down, looked at her hands that were in her grasp, lifted up instantly. His eyes are widened. The shock cannot be ignored by the girl.
" ... Ma—mama ...." Unable to speak, Elena could only return the gaze of the mother who was now smiling at her.
"At first I thought, Mama's vision would be both of you wrong. However, as time goes on, Mama can finally see that your closeness does have another meaning. Remember, the bond between mother and children is never that simple, is it?" Samantha looked at her daughter affectionately.
"We .. anu ... Ma ... t—not—"
"It's okay, honey. Although for some people this may feel untrue, but it should not be an obstacle. What else you guys don't have blood ties at all."
Elena is speechless.
"Go away. It might help your sister decide to stick with our surname or use her new identity. That's what Evans' mind has been weighing on since. He's waiting."
Elena could only be stunned. He had even just learned the thing Samantha had just said. She couldn't possibly ask a cliche question like, 'Mama knows where?', because the mother's answer was definitely as it had sounded before.
A drop of tears flowed down Elena's cheeks. Without further ado Elena hugged her mother while saying a dozen words of apology and also thank you.
However, Elena asked her mother about her father, and she said that Simon, her father, did not know about this at all. Understandably, the middle-aged man's focus is now only on his health.
Elena exhaled a sigh of relief. He wished his father knew nothing. There is little anxiety about the response given by the father if he finds out his adopted son and biological daughter are in love.
Seeing the anxiety that was present on Elena's face, Samantha also gave calm. "No need to worry about anything, Mama will help explain to Papa, if indeed you are really together."
The novelty rippled in Elena's mind. He who had let go of his embrace, now hugged his mother as tightly as possible.
...*****...
Evans was forced to wake up from a deep sleep when he heard the sound of the house bell ringing many times, even though the time is still showing at 4 am.
"Denise?" keka Evans with a look of annoyance. "Looks like he should be taught how to be a good guest!" Without removing his facial expression, the man immediately got off the bed and went out to check on the guests who had arrived.
"Dennis, it's still da— morning"
Evans' eyes suddenly widened, when he realized that the girl in his arms was none other than Elena.
"Els! How did you get here?" asked Evans astonished. Only the girl and Jemima knew where she lived. However, Elena was in a state of memory loss, while Evans found no trace of the secretary anywhere.
A wide variety of questions were milling around in Evans' head, especially at Elena's behavior. "Hey, what's going on? How did you get here? You're still in recovery stage. You ran away from home? Papa and Mama t—"
A light peck landed on Evans' lips. It was the only way Elena knew that she could make her beloved man shut up.
Sure enough, Evans was now silent while widening his eyes.
"You—"
"I'm sorry" Elena said, cutting off the conversation.
Hearing Elena's apology, Evans frowned. "Sorry why?"
Elena pulled Evans' hand towards the guest sofa and sat there. He vividly told her about the memories he never lost.
"Why?" evans asked with a demanding look. Disappointment was clearly on the handsome man's face, because all this time, Elena had been lying to him.
"I was about to give up, but you pulled me back. I know you're trying to make me remember all our memories. Right, right?" Elena looked at Evans sharply.
Evans refused to answer. He got up from the sofa and went to the kitchen.
Elena rushed after Evans. "Kak—"
"You're wrong. Don't be so confident, I just don't want our relationship as a family to just disappear. Therefore, I'm trying to get you to regain your memories!" evans said coldly. The man opened the fridge and took a can of cold beer from there.
Elena who was upset with Evans' behavior then grabbed the drink and put it on the pantry table.
"Okay, I'm sick of all this shit. Now look at me and tell me you don't love me! That way I will help you escape the Wileen family and choose a new identity. You can live free after that!"
Evans did not answer.
"I know you were waiting for something when Papa offered you to erase a new identity. You're waiting for something, right? You're waiting for me, right?" urge Elena.
Evans tried not to react when Elena said it, because what she said was true.
Evans does intend to give up his old identity if he wants to be with Elena. He has to get out of the family card. Although they do not have the same blood, the status of the state is still brother and sister, and brother and sister are not allowed to marry. That's why Evans wanted to wait for Elena first. If indeed Elena's memory could return, then she would take off Wileen's name, but if not, she would still be a big sister to the girl.
Evans bowed. He completely avoided Elena's eyes. For some reason, knowing that Elena had not forgotten him at all made the fear come back.
"What else do you think? Will our destiny be the same? We're gonna die tragically like the three previous lives? Oh, myGod!"
Elena's eyes started getting wet. "alright. From now on it's better that we really never meet, so that your fears don't need to be proven. This second I'm going to get away from you!"
Elena turned around and started to leave Evans.
While the man did not move at all. His feet were unable to step, as if a heavy weight was holding him back.
The voices that appeared in his head told the man to chase after Elena, while the others asked him to remain silent on the spot in order to protect the girl.
Evans was worried not playing, his head began to be hit by a sense of dizziness. However, Elena's last words had left Evans stunned. Moreover, the promise of the past among those who suddenly burst forth. The promise that they will continue together even though they must pass through the bitter destiny of God.
Evans doesn't want any regrets. It was better to face a common destiny than to have to see Elena happy with another man.
"No! Elena won't even be happy with another man, because all she wants is you, you idiot!"
One voice in his head, rebuking the man.
Just as Elena closed the front door very loudly, the voices disappeared instantly.
His legs that had felt very heavy were now back lightly. As powerful as he could, he ran after Elena.
...***...
Tears flowed down Elena's cheeks. After his struggle to get back to Leon. It looks like Evans' decision not to get back together was the best one.
And for Elena, it doesn't matter if you have to live like anything you can get along with Evans. However, Evans was too cowardly to face their destiny once again.
Elena stopped her steps. For the last time, he wanted to say goodbye to Evans even from afar.
The girl turned to look at the house of the man she loved the most. However, Elena's face was suddenly twisted when it turned out that the man who had just rejected her had been standing there.
Without giving Elena a chance to ask, Evans immediately hugged the girl as tightly as possible. "Don't blame me, if we have to go through the same life cycle!" warned.
Hearing Evans words, Elena cried sobbing. "I don't care, Evans Fool!" loud shouting. He hit Evans' back as hard as he could, even biting his shoulder.
Evans grimaced and laughed. He let go of his embrace and looked at Elena lovingly.
"I love you, Princess Airlea, Iris, Vanya, Bella, Elena."
Elena laughed as Evans mentioned all her names in her past life. "I love you too, Leon, Alex, Ward, Evans, Chris," the girl replied.
Evans laughed too. He held onto Elena's cheek and erased the distance between the two of them.
Under the newly rising sun, the two made a promise to be together until the end.

Thank you very much to my loyal readers who are always waiting for this story and will read it to the end.
It feels so good when someone wants to read my work that is not so much.
Sorry if in case, as long as I write there are some things that are missed and unsatisfactory. I tried my best, but I also realized that I was just an ordinary human being who had more to spare than he remembered.
The less-than-maximum of this story also refers to the real world that I cannot leave behind. What's more, lately I have had to face trials and divide the focus on the health of my son who had been in a coma and critical in the PICU. That's why I rarely update. I hope my brothers and sisters can understand him.
Thanks again and don't go anywhere? Because there will still be extra parts present later. 😍
One over. I hope you are still waiting for my new work to be published in a few days.
Again thank you very much everyone. More or less, I am truly apologizing profusely.
I love you guys. 🤗🤗😘 is a factor of 50
