The kiss felt deeper and more meaningful as Evans tried to pick it up for a few seconds, before coming to the realization of his actions.
The man suddenly retreated while putting on a surprised face. His lips were numb and cold, not to mention that his heart started to beat.
"He's your brother, you idiot!" maki Evans in my heart. Even though they were not siblings, the new act he did was still one of the big mistakes. What's more, Elena didn't know that fact at all.
"Yes sister?" evans murmured inwardly, laughing softly. She looked at Elena's beautiful face once again with great love.
The closer we get to know Elena, the greater the affection Evans has. However, that feeling was not affection like a brother to his sister, but a man to a woman.
But unfortunately, an invisible dividing wall made Evans really have to refrain from being with Elena.
Realizing this, over the past days yesterday, he thought of all possibilities as to why his past memories came back, Evans is increasingly convinced that this memory is a curse that God has given.
It was possible, this curse would stop if the two of them would not unite.
Evans took a deep breath before then got up from his seat and left Elena's room.
Shortly after the door was heard closing, Evans was completely unaware that Elena had yet to fully fall asleep.
The girl was crying sobbing with a muffled voice.
For some reason, he was so convinced, that the person who had just kissed him was not Evans, but Leon.
"Did he remember me? Did he get the same memory?" A series of questions fluttered in Elena's head.
...***...
In the morning, as if nothing had happened, Elena woke up and walked out of the room with a cheerful face as usual.
"Pags ... i." His forehead creased for a moment, when he found the apartment empty, but the time still showed at six in the morning.
There's no way Evans left for the office on this holiday.
"It looks like he's running in the morning" Elena said. The girl rushed to the bathroom and prepared breakfast for the two of them.
However, until the breakfast dish cooled, the man had not yet returned to the apartment.
Elena tries to contact Evans, but her phone turns out to be in the room.
The girl entered Evans' room which was still in a neat state. All the clothes, cell phones and wallets were still there.
"Where is he?" ask Elena.
The girl's concern became even more after she tried to contact Jemima and her mother, as it turned out that the older sister was not there.
Elena's heart was beating fast. He rushed out of Evans' apartment and drove his car.
Elena did not try to contact anyone else, because during her stay in the country, Evans had never been around and had a friend, other than an office colleague. The focus is always on the job.
"Did it happen last night, she felt guilty to me?" muttered Elena with wet eyes.
By evening, the girl had just arrived at the hospital where her father was.
The girl plainly told her mother that her brother had disappeared to nowhere without bringing any clothes and anything. His phone and wallet were left there.
"Ma, it looks like we have to ask the police for help to find the whereabouts of Brother!" elena's proposal.
Samantha was silent for a moment. "No need, honey, your brother must be having some business. Let's just wait, shall we?"
Elena frowned in surprise. The mother did not look worried. He even told Elena to wait.
Waiting what?
"What to wait for, Ma? Mama know something? Where is my sister going? Why didn't you tell me?" a series of questions were thrown from Elena's tiny mouth.
Samantha raised her index finger to her lips while glancing at the father who had just fallen asleep.
"Ma, would you please say?" Elena looked at the mother with a clear face.
"Mama doesn't know either, honey, but your sister did tell Mama, that she wanted to calm herself down somewhere first for some time, and she gave up all her work to you and Jemima." Samantha explained to the princess honestly.
"But why did you leave all your clothes and essentials behind? Indeed he can live without it, and how can we contact him?" yellen was angry. The girl didn't care that the father would wake up because of her voice.
Samantha could only respond to Elena's question with a slow slit. He also asked the child not to think too much about his brother and focus on Simon's work and health first.
"Mama's sure your brother will be back soon." Samantha gently stroked Elena and hugged her tightly.
...***...
Elena returned to her house in a state of lackluster spirits. Lily who greeted him was not even ignored by the girl at all. She chose to go straight into her room and lock the door.
Arriving in Elena's room spilled everything there. The feeling of anger, confusion, fear, longing, wonder, mixed into one in his mind.
No matter how hard the girl tried to draw conclusions on Evans' departure, she found no answer at all.
Elena took her phone and opened the photo gallery on the phone. There is a picture of Evans, which he secretly took at one of the fast food restaurants.
That picture is the only one he has. Elena just remembered, that they never had a photo together other than a family photo. That was when he was just 1 year old.
Elena stroked a picture of Evans enjoying his lunch at that time. Although from the side, the man's face was still quite visible.
"Where are you, you idiot? Do you really remember everything and get sick of our talk? That's why you decided to leave?" elena muttered with an angry look.
