Elena was just about to let go of their kisses when the oxygen she breathed began to run out.
With a reddened face, Elena looked at Evans longingly.
Evans actually felt the same way, maybe even much greater than the longing Elena was feeling right now.
"Go!" exclaim Evans. He deliberately pressed his voice so as not to sound doubtful.
"Don't kick me out or I'll kiss you again!" reply Elena bravely. His face really implied constancy. In fact, the girl did not feel ashamed at all because she was aggressive first. He had buried her deep only to chase Evans back into his arms.
Evans looked at Elena flat. The man kept trying to suppress his feelings. As powerful as he refused the desire of his heart to embrace the tiny body of the adopted sister, as well as the girl he loved so much.
"I know, the story of a pair of grandparents is just your essay, right? I also know you're trying to avoid me because of our past memories" when the girl was on target.
"Then? Why are you still trying to chase me. This memory is definitely a curse, and I want to break it. That way, our reincarnation will definitely stop!" Evans' face changed after saying this.
Hearing the man's words, Elena reflexively shook her head vigorously. "You are a curse or not, I will keep my promise to be with you and be happy!"
Evans laughed cynically. "Forgot that promise! Our destiny will never change if we stay together. You're almost doomed by Albern's actions. Although it failed, we do not know how to go ahead! Don't be stubborn, your life will be covered with wounds when you're with me!"
"Destiny! The wound! If that's what I'm going to do, I don't care. Whichever one you come from can be with you, I don't care!" yell Elena was stubborn.
Evans bites in his lips. His face did not seem to like the girl's answer.
He turned around and decided to ignore Elena again. Without saying anything, Evans chose to clean the bottles scattered in the living room and throw them away.
Elena also helped clean the entire floor of the house. He also opened the curtains of the house so that sunlight can enter into.
After disposing of the liquor bottles, Evans then went to the laundry room to wash clothes. As the washing machine finished grinding, he went into the kitchen to cook a simple lunch.
Meanwhile, Elena had just walked into the house after finishing sweeping the terrace.
Seeing Evans seem busy struggling in the kitchen, the girl approached him quietly.
Evans flinched as he felt a warm embrace on his body.
Knowing who hugged him, Evans snorted in annoyance. "Take me off!" annoyed.
"Let it be like this first. Can you?" Elena slid her head deeper into Evans' back. The smell of soap was still coming out of the man's body.
"No!" With a bit of coercion Evans managed to break away from Elena. "Go back to the inn. I want to be alone."
"I'm not going anywhere!" sahut Elena is stubborn.
Evans turned to face the girl, and lifted her up on the pantry table. "You know, your presence really makes me uncomfortable, El! Go back to the house. I've been living quietly here!"
Evans accidentally raises Elena to the pantry table, so that the girl can clearly see the look in her serious eyes.
The girl was bowed for a moment, before then raised her head and smiled faintly. "alright. I'll go first."
Without saying anything more, Elena got off the pantry table, and left Evans' house just like that.
Evans frowned. "Easy then?" the man muttered in wonder. He stared at the two plates in front of him, then put the other one back on the shelf.
...***...
With an innocent face, Elena stood in front of the door while looking at Evans.
Evans rolled his eyes puffed. He was about to close the door again so that Elena could not enter the house.
However, Elena swiftly restrained the door using her feet. "I have one more day here, and I want to spend time with you" the girl said as she walked into Evans' house.
Evans can't fight. He who started to memorize how Elena's habits finally relented.
He simply followed the girl who was now going up to the second floor and entered into one of the guest rooms, right next to him.
"Where do you want to go, by the way?" elena asked so aware of Evans' neat appearance.
"I want to go to the barn." Evans replied briefly. Two days he had left work and just locked himself in the house to hide, and now, the man did not have to do it again.
"Can I come?" ask Elena again.
Evans was silent for a moment. "I'm not going anywhere, just in the barn. Delivery was done this morning."
"I've seen your cafe, now I want to see the barn."
Evans sighed. Without answering anything, he left Elena.
Elena rushed after Evans to the outside of the house.
It did not take long, they also arrived in front of a simple warehouse. There are two pick-up cars, and one box car parked in the yard of the warehouse.
A cold chill immediately felt in Elena's body as Evans opened the barn door.
Elena was quite stunned because the warehouse was very clean. The place has its own rooms.
"Sister Chris!" call Dennis. The young man ran towards the two. "Where have you been these two days?" tanyakanya.
"I'm just not feeling well" Evans replied.
Evans' reply made the man nod his head. He didn't forget to say hello to Elena. Seeing their closeness, Dennis speculates that the relationship has improved.
He offered Elena to sit down and give her a canned drink.
"Thank you" Elena said sincerely.
"Together Miss," replied Dennis kindly.
While enjoying a can of soda, Elena noticed how Evans deftly managed his subordinates. He was also seen discussing with Dennis who was giving financial statements to the man.
Elena smiled. Evans is a smart guy. Want as a CEO or even a small entrepreneur like this, he is able to manage it well.
Finished dealing with the warehouse, the two then went towards the cafe until nightfall. Many of the residents asked for Elena's identity, and Evans plainly and emphatically replied that she was his sister.
Elena who disliked Evans' reply could only endure his frustration. For now, he can't do anything.
The girl was well aware of Evans' cold demeanor during being with her all day. However, Elena did not care at all. He was sure Evans just wanted to make him not feel at home for long in this place.
