Elena and Jemima have just arrived at Ocean Blue City for the inauguration of the new Wileen Group automotive plant. Together with several other office officials, they immediately went to the five-star hotel that had been booked since two days ago.
Elena deliberately asked to be placed in one room with Jemima so as not to feel alone.
After taking a short break and having lunch together at the hotel restaurant, they went to the factory to have a look first.
Three cars have been prepared by the hotel for all of them.
Elena, Jemima, and Jefry, CFO of the Wileen Group, as well as the father's youngest cousin, were in the same car.
"It is very cool here" said Jefry while watching the city streets that still look shady and comfortable.
Initially, he thought that the licensing of the construction of this factory would take a long time because people usually firmly refused, because they were afraid that their territory was polluted, what else this region has a beautiful sea, which is a beautiful sea, –although their owned factory is guaranteed safe from hazardous waste–.
Thankfully, less than a year of licensing is completed and development can be done.
"Maybe because this city is not far from the sea either." Elena. "Uncle has never been here before?" ask the girl later.
Jefry shakes. "You yourself, have never? Or Jemima might come here often?" The 37-year-old stared at the center.
Elena shook her head, in line with what Jemima did.
Seeing the reaction of his nephew and secretary, he muttered something. "Did I just make a villa here?"
"It's with pleasure that I'll always come here and interrupt your vacation" Elena joked, to Jefry's sweet laugh.
BRAAAK!
The car Jemima was driving, accidentally just hit a box car that stopped suddenly in front of them. Jemima who was not ready, late to step on the brake pedal.
"Are you okay, Mister, Miss?" ask Jemima worried. The woman looked back to make sure both of her superiors were doing well.
"We're okay. Look, what's up ahead?" jefry told the woman.
"Good, Sir." Without a second thought, Jemima immediately got off the car and banged on the body of the box car in front of him.
"Sorry, brother, I didn't accidentally." A young man who was in the steering wheel looked frightened after stepping on the pedal incorrectly. Though this was a month after he successfully finished his driving school and got a SIM. However, his grooving attitude made the young man often get into trouble on the road.
The bearded and thin-moustached man nodded. "It's okay. Looks like we just got someone's car wrecked. I'll come down to see him" said the man.
"No need, brother, let me go down. I'll take responsibility by meeting him, Brother can cut my wages to replace that guy's car repair."
Without waiting for a response from his boss, the young man immediately went down to meet Jemima.
Jemima looked at the young man from top to bottom, before then opening his voice. "I'm guessing you know your mistake." The woman glanced at the hotel rental car whose windshield was broken.
"I know Miss. I'm sorry, I promise to compensate for the loss. You can just take him to the workshop and call me afterwards." The young man opened his wallet and handed Jemima an identity card along with a phone number.
"My name is Dennis. I work at Destiny Cafe which is about an hour and a half from here. It's pretty close to the shore."
Jemima accepts Dennis's identity card as a guarantee that the man will not give up his responsibilities.
"Then, thank you, and sorry once again, Miss." Dennis politely bowed his body. He invited the woman to get in the car and waited for her to leave.
Chris, the name of the man who had just sat in the car glanced at the car that had just passed him.
"How's it?" ask the man when Dennis gets in their car.
"It's all done, brother. I'll replace the loss. I'm sorry" Dennis said with a sorry look.
"No need to think about it" said Chris.
They continue their journey with Chris driving. He did not want the same thing to happen again.
Luckily the car load is currently empty because they have just delivered orders to their customers.
Almost every two days Chris accompanied by his employees alternately, always deliver frozen seafood to be distributed to several supermarkets and butcher shops in the city. In addition to these efforts, he also opened a small cafe located not far from the beach, and quite crowded.
After he finished delivering the order, Chris returned the car to the small warehouse he owned, before then watching the cafe until the afternoon.
...***...
Elena and Jefry take turns looking at Dennis's identity card. Initially, Elena did not mind if the young man claimed to have no money to reimburse the cost of car repairs. He asked Jemima to contact Dennis immediately. However, Jefry and Jemima themselves vehemently rejected Elena's overly kind proposal towards others
"To do well with someone does need to be done El, but that doesn't mean we should always give up. Humans need a sense of responsibility so as not to repeat their mistakes in the future" Jesry said at length, which Jemima immediately approved.
Elena sighed resignedly. Inevitably he had to give up rather than face the two people.
"All right, it's up to you."
...***...
It only takes fifteen minutes to get to the actual Wileen Group plant. However, due to the unexpected incident earlier, they also had to experience a delay of ten minutes.
The arrival of Elena and Jefry is warmly welcomed by William, the head of the factory.
In addition to explaining the inauguration event tomorrow, the 55-year-old man also invited Elena, Jefry, and Jemima to go around the factory while introducing some employees who passed by him.
The factory, which has an area of almost seven hectares, is the first factory that is predicted to have advanced technology, and unlike other factories. The cleanliness inside here is very awake.
Elena stared at the satisfied factory that would make the body of the car.
After touring, Elena was also invited to enjoy lunch to be served to factory employees.
The plant, which is planned to be able to accommodate two thousand employees, also has a special kitchen so that workers do not need to bring their own supplies from home. Of course at a fairly affordable and friendly price.
"What about hiring employees?" ask Jefry.
"Walk properly, Mr. Jefry's. The community welcomes the enthusiastic jobs we open. Now, we're rigorously selecting applicants." Answer William.
