There was nothing special about Elena's next days. Since the girl's last cry a few days ago, Elena no longer cared about Evans.
The girl now thinks Evans is just an invisible creature, which she doesn't need to think about.
Currently, Elena's focus is only on school and exams, because graduation day will soon arrive.
Cheers filled almost every classroom, when their homeroom just announced that tourism would be moving forward a few weeks sooner.
This is done so that the time is not too squeezed with prom night preparation.
"Don't bring unnecessary things!" The teacher gave a warning.
"Good, Mr. Gerald!" answer the students simultaneously.
The plan is they will go visit the royal history museum. After that, they will visit a playground located not far from there.
"Why not just go to the playground? Kan, we're not learning." Jenny who was sitting at the table next to Elena snorted loudly after their homeroom teacher left.
"About not learning, does not mean we do not need to seek knowledge anymore, Fool!" Elena hit Jenny's head playfully while smiling mockingly.
"Issha! Yes .. Yes, a student smarter than me! I'm, right, just asking that our brains be rested for a moment!" jenny ketus.
A small snip came out of Elena's mouth.
"Who are you taking prom night for, by the way?" ask Elena next.
"Let's know, I'm lazy to think about it. There were some other students who took me away. However, I haven't answered their call." Answer Jenny.
Elena nodded her head. The girl was not at all surprised by the fact, because Jenny was indeed one of the most beautiful students in their school. If only she wanted to join the popular schoolgirls, Jenny might already be getting famous.
Honey, Jenny is not interested in a group of girls who only uphold beauty and money.
The sound of the school bell rang a moment later. The students had already started to scatter out of the classroom, except for Elena and Jenny.
They deliberately kept quiet in class and waited a little quiet first, so as not to jostle each other.
After about ten minutes of waiting, the two stepped outside the school building.
Arriving on the steps of the school stairs, a dark cloud suddenly came and it rained instantly. Some of the students who were still there were also forced to stay in that place, including Elena and Jenny.
"Ck, rain!" Elena let out a sigh of resignation, while looking at the sky that was no longer bright.
"Albern didn't pick you up?" ask Jenny.
"No. He's busy in his dad's office." Answer Elena listlessly.
"Let's come with me. My invitation is coming soon." Jenny offers her best friend a ride, which is immediately greeted with a happy nod.
Moments later, several luxury cars, including a black Rolls-Royce, were seen entering the school grounds and stopping right in front of the building.
"Yep, I've been picked up" Jenny asked when she saw her private driver get out of the car with an umbrella.
Elena stepped forward to follow Jenny.
However, his footsteps suddenly stopped, when he saw a handsome man just came out of the Rolls-Royce car. He was completely unaware of Evans' previous existence.
"It looks like I've also been picked up, too" Elena said as she stuck her chin towards the man.
Jenny followed Elena's point of view.
Realizing that Jenny's tone of voice and facial expression changed, Elena raised her eyebrows high. His eyes then rolled staring at the direction of his other friends. Apparently, they also put on an expression that is not much different from Jenny.
They even began to busy whispering flirtatious, asking the identity of the man.
Jenny did see Evans from the photo Elena showed. However, the photo was a candid photo that Elena deliberately took carelessly.
Evans drove his sister to school three times, but he never got out of the car.
The students screamed flirtatiously as Evans stood right in front of the steps of the stairs. With just a glance, Elena could already understand that the man did not want to linger there for long.
"I'm going home first, right?" tell Elena to Jenny.
"OKAY. Be careful on the road, El." Jenny waved at Elena, without turning her eyes to Evans. Not to forget, the girl also greeted Evans with a polite nod.
Evans replied to Jenny's greeting with the same nod.
Elena went down to her sister and left school.
After the girl's departure, the girls immediately stormed Jenny and asked the identity of the man who had just picked up her best friend.
"That's her brother. Don't be bothered, she's already engaged to an international model!" jenny replied, as she stretched herself to her own car.
Hearing Jenny's reply, the voices of complaints from the girls were heard clearly.
"Based on flirtatious girls!" jenny exclaimed without realizing that she was not much different from them.
...***...
No conversation has taken place between the two on this journey. Elena herself did not bother to ask why Evans picked her up, as the man must have been ordered by both of their parents.
However, the condition of the car that was very quiet made Elena feel very uncomfortable for a long time. The girl also took the initiative to turn on the music so that the atmosphere was not too quiet as it is now.
"Who let you tamper with my car?" asked Evans coldly.
Elena's hand stopped. "I just want to turn on the music so that it doesn't get quiet" the girl replied.
"This is my car. You're only allowed to sit there quietly. So, don't you ever dare touch anything that's in here, even a fingernail!"
Evans' words hit Elena's heart. The girl then moved her hand away.
Elena chose to turn her face away, while ************ her hands were getting cold. Again he felt humiliated. Pain and shame mixed into one.
Evans' car stopped at a red light. Just inside the bus stop next to Evans' car, two young men and women were joking. They do not seem to be lovers, but sisters.
Elena could read the motion of the lips of the man who repeatedly called the young woman, 'my little sister'.
Seeing how unfortunately the brother was to his sister, envy arose in Elena's mind. The girl tried to stop herself from crying.
Upon arriving home, Elena got out of the car and into her house without saying a word to Evans.
Evans himself just stared at the departure of his sister with a flat face. At first glance, he could actually see the flowing tears drenching the girl's cheeks.
"Honey, you've come home .. loh, why are you crying?" ask Samantha worried.
Elena did not answer the mother's question, and chose to go straight to her room on the second floor.
