Chapter 35: Virtually Wretched.

The streets that had begun to quiet did not dampen Elena's desire to continue walking alone to the bus stop. While crying, he was busy swearing Iris who now lives in him.

Elena was unable to scream or escape like that, as her hands were also stepped on by the man.

"There are rarely beautiful women who dare to pass through this area alone. It's a pity that I didn't take advantage of this opportunity!" exclaimed the man while stroking Elena's face.

With a stifled voice, Elena started screaming loudly.

"Nobody heard your voice, sweet," said the man. He prepared to attack Elena who had closed her eyes while crying as she pleased. However, suddenly the man's body fell to the side while screaming in pain.

Evans took off his jacket and put it on the body of his sister, who was wrapped in underwear.

"You okay?" ask Evans to his brother.

Elena could not answer. He only held onto Evans' arms and gripped him firmly.

Evans hugged Elena and tried to calm her down. "You're safe now."

Not wanting to linger there, Evans decided to hold his sister and take her away from there.

Elena held her hand down and hid her head around Evans' neck to calm herself down.

When the two were already at the mouth of the narrow alley, Evans' body immediately jolted and almost collapsed. Elena reflexively hugged the neck of the older brother tightly.

"Sir, what's wrong?" ask the girl to worry.

Evans shook his head while grimacing. He then lowered Elena slowly from her sling.

Elena was surprised to find a bel4t1 stuck on her back. The evil man apparently got back up and ran to them to stab Evans, before fleeing.

Evans immediately turned around and looked coldly at the man, who was about to disappear behind a corner.

Elena could see Evans' slightly changed eyes. Without a second thought, the man immediately pulled out the b3l4t1 stuck on his shoulder. There's not a look of pain in Evans' face like before.

As if nothing had happened, he instead aimed at the criminal and threw the b3l4t1 until it was stuck into his neck.

Evans' movement just now certainly left Elena shocked to death.

"Leon!" muttered the girl.

Screams of pain echoed from the direction of the criminal, before a thumping sound could be heard later.

"Akhc!" screeches Evans to bring Elena back. The girl swiftly hugged the body of the older brother and came back crying.

Evans returned Elena's embrace. The man then asked Elena to call the police using her cell phone.
