Chapter 104 When there is a New Change

"Why did you suddenly change your mind ?"

Liam has many flaws, but he is not stupid. And he was serious about what he said. He will let Harumi be seen running away from his side, as the man is sure Harumi will come back to him again.

Liam knows that Harumi has the same feelings as him. Although it cannot be expressed, but it is seen in everything Harumi does.

"Oh so, all right. I'll pack my things. Hmm.waiti. What I pack for. All my stuff is still in Cathy's apartment. There's not a single item of mine I've brought since I've been here" Harumi was indeed very obvious that she was being clumsy, and couldn't help but seem restless.

Liam was silent to Harumi's behavior, his eyes not moving one bit. Then Liam's lips smiled sweetly, cupping both of Harumi's cheeks. Raising her face until the two pairs of eyes meet each other.

The little lady's face was now in her grasp, The man stared very long at Harumi's two eyes "It's not easy for me either, you don't understand how much I want to be with you always."

Closing her eyes, she forced herself to breathe slowly "There's something I need to clear up right away, and if all goes well. I promise I'll come back and by then I'll never let you go again, never."

Harumi did not say another word, her lips felt very faint. The woman just nodded her head.

Liam watched it could only hold back so as not to make Harumi think more and more about something further. He just wanted Harumi to understand the situation they were in right now. Liam instead of releasing Harumi, he wants to solve all the chaos that he thinks is very disturbing them.

The man pulled Harumi's body in his arms.

Liam seemed to be a different person as he hugged Harumi at this moment. He rubbed his back and his fingers dipped in each of the long wavy hairs.

Liam's lips swept over his cheeks and the man whispered "I'll miss you"

Harumi woke up right at the time of the show at 8am. He opened his eyes with a smile on his lips.

She lay sideways, wearing a thin satin nightgown, her long hair draped on a pillow with smooth waves making Harumi look natural and innocent.

Slowly he rubbed his face, then turned around to wake Liam whom he was sure the man must not have woken up from his sleep.

The moment Harumi's body turned around, which she originally wanted to surprise Liam but her expression changed instantly. Both of his eyes widened, he was astonished because Liam was not next to him. Last night Harumi was still sleeping with her, this morning the place was empty.

Harumi's heart was pounding like a bird's wingspan as she found only a piece of paper on the pillow. Stiffly, Harumi got up and grabbed the paper.

He began to read the contents of the paper, apparently in accordance with what he thought. This was the message Liam had written for him.

I'am sorry, I have to leave early.

I don't want to wake you

Harumi's stomach pinched as if she were riding a terrible roller coaster, knowing that her heart could not lie if she felt pain in her.

Harumi needed some time to calm down and of course calm her mind. Harumi remembers everything she experienced with Liam, everything she said until last night.

She knew Liam was planning to leave last night, but somehow after reading the message. Making his heart feel fragile, he could at least wake Harumi up and say something before he left.

Harumi closed her eyes tightly, then sighed.

Why do you always do what you want ? What was the difficulty of waking me up, what was the difficulty of saying it directly, why just write it down on a piece of paper ?

After a few minutes, Harumi just sat on the bed while putting on a disappointed face with a still rumbling heart. He forced himself to get up and step into the bathroom.

But.the steps stopped as he stared at the blades of sunlight from behind the curtain. Penetrating glass trying to break in.

Harumi moved open the curtains and the warm light of the sun instantly washed Harumi's face with its dazzling radiance.

Anger and disappointment flooded Harumi's mind, but also something much stronger. He was angry with Liam's sudden change. But....

There was something stronger running through her, the same uncontrollable feeling that had prevailed over her last night, when Liam kissed her.

The memory of Liam's question last night, made Harumi freeze. He has not given any answer.

"Do you love me, Rumi ?"

There was no answer that came out of Harumi's lips at that time. But, Liam did not force her to give an answer.

Harumi realized, she had never once expressed what was in her heart, the feeling of what was raging inside her chest at this moment.

His fingers gripped tighter at the knot of his nightgown. He can't breathe. Harumi was already convinced by what she felt for Liam. But, he was still hesitant to step up, he was not sure what he would face later.

Choosing to be with Liam, was a high-risk choice in his life. But, choosing to part from him made him suffer even more. Harumi will get even worse in the rubble of regret.

I Love you. I love you..Liam

Such a short sentence was indeed easy to say, but not for Harumi. He knows his feelings for Liam, will hurt more people and these feelings will endanger those he loves.

Harumi decided to bury these feelings deeply. Because it's much better for now.

The woman moved to the bathroom door, then she heard the sound of vibrations from her phone.

Harumi only realized, for days he rarely touched his phone. The phone was just in his bag. Because he wanted to avoid Anton. Although Harumi felt guilty for rarely telling her mother. That must be very worrying for Harumi.

It turns out that when he looked at the screen of his phone, a lot of notifications of short messages and incoming calls. Calls from Cathy, her mother, Andrea her best friend and of course dozens of incoming calls from her husband Anton.

Seeing the incoming call that read her Husband's name, Harumi's expression turned cold. He knew Anton would contact him all the time but for now the voice Harumi did not want to hear was Anton.

After all the bitter words that Anton always said to him always imprint in Harumi's heart until now. She kept remembering every one of those hurtful words, not the least in her memory, how her husband treated Harumi so arrogantly.

Then, Harumi read some of the short messages that came in. And one of the latest incoming messages is Message from Anton.

Harumi's eyes widened and jumped as she read the contents of the message.

Rumi, I've arrived in New York.

And now it's still at the airport
