Chapter 157 Play With Fire

"You'd better get back to Bristol"

Anton's breath hunted, his steps unceasingly moving back and forth dispelling the uneasiness.

His brows furrowed, his head drifting with many thoughts of his own.

Anton's head was not tired of shaking many times when what he was hearing at this time was so sudden and did not enter his healthy deacon "That's IMPOSSIBLE"

"Its True, Mr. Riandra. Even the Official Letter is out. I sent it to your email"

"How is it possible that the change of position in the Company can be done on a sudden basis ? it is known to only a few parties. And there was no talk before me with the Board of Directors, not like this should have been. There must be something Unresolved. I've worked hard day and night for Company Profits. And look at what I'm receiving now ?!!!" his loud tone pierced

Daniel did not respond, for a moment Anton's confidant was silent.

"SAY DANIEL ! WHAT WAS MY MISTAKE UNTIL THE COMPANY DREW ME AWAY FOR GOOD ?!!! AFTER I COMMITTED TO THE COMPANY" Anton's chest felt so claustrophobic, the hum of angry breath roaring with heat on his body.

He felt played and used by some people in the Company.

Anton had to accept the harsh reality of the day. In a fit of annoyance, he almost slammed his phone if a glimpse of the shadow reappeared. The shadow is bitter because of his hard work so far it does not produce anything.

"If you want to go back to Bristol, I'll book a return ticket for you."

Anton does not listen to Daniel's last words, he ends up throwing his phone on the couch without closing the call from his Secretary. And with a heated display of anger, Anton was getting worse. His mind was so messed up, his brain was dead end.

Anton Crushed, one by one what he had slowly disappeared from his grasp.

His job, his career, his future and of course

Harum.

Cathy who witnessed Anton's condition at that time could only be silent did not comment. At first the woman wanted to nag him about Freddy's interests, but Cathy preferred to keep quiet.

The woman stood up and took a slow breath. This is not the right time, however Anton has been in enough pain and torment with what he has received since last night.

"What am I doing, why is this so sudden ?" Anton kept walking back and forth, his mouth did not stop blabbering.Seemed a glance his eyes were empty, but his brain seemed forced to think hard. Connecting events after events that have been passed before.

Until something passed through his mind, Anton moved back to pick up the phone he had thrown on the sofa earlier.

With a rash and impatient he stared at the screen, then looked around for emails sent daniel before.

After he opened the email. At the end of the Letter of Inauguration of the Office, Anton's eyes widened when his eyes were fixed on the bottom where the letter was signed and approved by the CEO and Company Owner "LIAM SEYMOUR"

Anton's mouth was open, he was starting to understand now. Where is the actual direction of the game, Anton smiled wryly with torment full of pressure on every part of his body.

It was as if it was thrown dirty** right on his face. There is no self-esteem left because as a man he has lost everything.

The smile gradually faded, as his eyes fell on Cathy. What he had only realized was standing up since he had noticed it.

It's getting awkward "Have you heard that before ?" sardonic Anton

"What do you mean ?"

"You heard me talking on the phone earlier, didn't you ? You must be very happy to see how I am right now"

"I don't care about your business" Cathy argued, she stepped away from the awkwardness between them back then

Anton laughed even though there was nothing funny "Don't Dodge !! Tell me, where did Liam bring Harumi ? KATAKAAAAN !!!!" anton shouted so loudly that it almost made Cathy's ears growled

The woman looked at Anton with a careless look. "I don't know and don't care"

But, Anton's snaps don't stop there. The man took a quick step closer then pulled Cathy's left arm violently.

Even the man didn't care when Cathy was in pain. "Take it off, Anton"

"SAY !! DON'T DODGE IT ! LOOK AT ME !" Anton drags Cathy forcibly, then throws the woman onto the sofa.

Anton grabs Cathy's hands and locks them in his hands, then sticks them on either side of the sofa's backrest.

Cathy is trapped. He was unable to move let alone rebel. The position of the man is now right in front of Cathy when Anton close his body until there is no more distance between the two.

Cathy who just sat down while Anton approached with a bent position in front of him. The man raised both eyebrows looking at Cathy seriously "Stop playing around, I bet you know where Liam took Harumi ?"

Cathy's lips trembled, she swallowed her saliva and shook her head loudly "I won't tell you anything "

One of Anton's hands removed his grip from Cathy's hand, turning to squeeze the woman's face so rough. To make Cathy grimace in pain, Cathy tried to resist. Anton is venting his anger.

"A-a-i-i.t-t-no..a-a-ak-an.." Because Anton's grip was so strong, Cathy had trouble opening her mouth.

The man did not hesitate to squeeze Cathy's face up. You can imagine how painful Anton's treatment was at that time.

Cathy had met Harumi at Liam's Penthouse. And Cathy is convinced that Liam must have taken Harumi there last night, but Cathy doesn't want to tell her the truth.

"Look fine, if you're still covering it up. I'll get Freddy out of your hands. You know how I am capable of acting CRAZY THINGS that could harm you, Catherine !!!!" his eyes looked like a killer.

Cathy's eyes widened, hearing Anton's threat. His body trembled, his heart pounded fiercely, his eyes glazed over, as Anton knew the woman's weak spot. Cathy wouldn't be strong if she had to lose Freddy.

"You're definitely not going to keep quiet, it's the same as letting Freddy out of you. Would you prefer a friend or your own son ?" Anton grinned like a demon

Cathy had known Anton for a long time, who was stubborn and rebellious, and he was able to do crazy things if he was angry, disappointed or played with. Cathy will be the kind of person who can bring out the worst in Anton.

Looking into the man's sunken and cynical eyes, Cathy decided to tell him the truth. He just wanted to protect Freddy, and didn't want to part with him. If Anton takes Freddy away from her, Cathy's heart as a mother will be broken because the boy is the single most precious treasure the woman has in her life.

Cathy nodded with the forced "The Goddes Palace Penthouse, Manhattan" at last

Harumi turned to her bedside, and it was empty. The pillow was still neat like there was no trace of someone who had fucked her.

There is no Liam.

Harumi lifted her body and stared at the incoming sunlight from behind the thin curtains of the room window. The atmosphere in the room had not changed in the slightest since the last time he left it, it all looked the same just as it looked neater and cleaner. Even cosmetics, the jewelry Liam gave her was still arranged in the same position on her dresser.

The aroma of this room was still fresh in Harumi's memory, the scent of Jasmine and Vanilla. Absolutely nothing had changed as if no one had entered this room but him.

The woman remembers what happened last night. Her eyes were still heavy as Harumi had only fallen asleep for a few hours. Ever since last night, he couldn't sleep in peace.

He recalled last night, Liam had gotten into the room saying good-bye to him. The man said he wanted to finish some work in his Workspace.

"Did he sleep in his study all night ?" he muttered then immediately got up to pick up a sleeping kimono lying on his dressing table chair. And Harumi stares at her phone.

Open it and there are dozens of short messages and voice calls, all from Anton. All her problems came back as if to make Harumi stop breathing.

She put her phone back on the dresser, then walked out of the room after she put on her sleeping kimono.

Harumi walked down the stairs, and her eyes searched the workspace in such a large place. It was difficult at first because there were so many rooms there. Until finally, Harumi saw a room whose door was slightly open. The woman slowly pushed the door, then her head first entered and stared around the room to be sure.

Sure enough Harumi's guess, it was Liam's workroom. He took a slow breath, then carefully stepped up and did not want to make a noise that was too noisy. Because it is quite awkward, this is the first time Harumi entered the Liam Workspace after she had previously stayed here.

But, Harumi did not find Liam there.

Where is she ? has he left already ?

The room was really spacious and dominated with rows of very large bookshelves and all filled with important books that looked quite old. The walls are coated with wallpaper with classic pattern carvings and all furniture comes from wood. As for one space for the fireplace and on it put some photos and vases containing daisies.

Harumi also saw in the middle of the room right in front of the bookshelf there was a work desk on top of the laptop and some files with leather chairs.

Looks like Liam was working on his job last night here.

Harumi was amazed by the design of this room that was so elegant and classy.

Until, Harumi's gaze stopped on a small photo figura on the fireplace.

Harumi approached, then looked at the photo. Apparently, a photo of Liam standing right on a broad highway that no one vehicle passed, on a cliff with a stretch of grass. He was standing right next to a car.

Silver colored luxury sports car. Harumi took the figura and stared at it long enough, she seemed to know the location spot in the photo.

Isn't this in Bristol ?

Harumi smiled faintly, because it made her miss her hometown.

Then his eyes turned to the car right next to Liam .

This car seems familiar ? have I seen him before ? but where is ?Or just my feelings ?
