Chapter 99 Beating Heart

The Penthouse Manhattan

They decided to return to Penthouse Liam. Since arriving, Harumi chose to continue his cold attitude and just remain silent.

Harumi did not want to reveal what she felt in the slightest to Liam, all Harumi needed right now was Time, Well of course Time for her to be alone.

The woman realized her condition made it impossible to be calm and would not look at Liam with the same gaze as before, because of what had happened to her and Liam Today. And make Harumi more afraid not of the Mysterious Men, but... Liam. The man she is with right now.

Liam took one's life without sinning one bit. And still be able to act calm and relaxed as if it had become a normal thing in his life. And that made Harumi even more afraid.

Harumi threw herself on the bed, not even changing the clothes she was wearing. His gaze headed towards the glass window that pierced through the beautiful starry sky scene that night. But, it did not succeed in making him eliminate his anxiety.

His blank, glaring gaze summarized the events he had been going through for several days when he began arriving in New York until the horrific attack.

Harumi shifted her body to her back, this time her gaze was fixed on the white ceiling in the room. The woman did not realize that the anxiety that continued to peak in every part of her body.

Liam cleared up "Rumi ?"

Harumi was unaware of the presence of the man who was standing a minute ago in the doorway, looking at her with great anxiety.

Seeing the condition of the woman who is still like this there is no change, making Liam's heart feel torn and sore. Liam never wanted to face this incident with Harumi.

"Darling...Please say something" Liam swallowed a strange lump in his throat "Since we arrived, you've only been in the room, not even touching the food" the man's eyes were fixed on a tray on which there was already porridge and a glass of milk whose position did not change even slightly on the nightstand, because Harumi had not touched it at all.

Liam walked slowly towards the bed, then looked at Harumi up close. But, the woman's attitude surprised him because he woke up and lifted his body from the bed standing away.

"Please Rumi, don't behave like this" tension arose on the back of his field

Harumi turned around, The woman's Bulumata opened wide, and blinked until her eyes focused on Liam.

"Harumi ?" call him again

Harumi fell silent and licked her lips.

The woman's view of Liam changed greatly in just one day. Harumi was unable to look at the man with the same gaze as yesterday.

Liam stepped slowly to get closer, but Harumi moved backwards away.

For the first time in Liam's life, he really wanted to know what a "Please woman thought, Harumi said something. Please don't torture me like this"

Harumi just stared at him, powerless to hide the disappointment from her misty eyes.

Liam understands that, instead of Liam wanting something terrible to happen to Harumi. However, the man knew this was the most correct action he had to take. The Mysterious Man should have died in Liam's hands.

"I'm going back to Cathy's Apartment tonight" with a stammering Harumi opened her lips while enduring the intense pressure within her.

For now, Harumi is unable to distinguish between reality and Nightmare, Bad Action and Right. His mind was completely piqued with all his bad guesses and views towards Liam.

A feeling of shock crept within Liam and the man's gaze hardened "Back to Apartment Cathy ?"

Observing Harumi's closed bulumata sweeping his cheeks "There is not Safe, I will not let you go back there"

A sour grin coloring Harumi's lips "Iam Not safe with YOU !"

Liam returned Harumi's gaze and it was as if a loud slap floated on him when the man heard Harumi's last sentence.

Liam shook his head "You're not going anywhere"

While looking at Liam, the woman turned her eyes on the cold Marble Floor which even she herself did not feel as if her legs were not wearing a pedestal and the coldness seemed to creep up on her.

Harumi wondered why her life had changed so quickly, actually since when did her life turn in this direction ? and why he agreed to let Liam enter his life more deeply.

Does he regret it now ?

I am sorry later on.

Facing the horrific Event might be a trivial thing that Liam could easily forget, but for Harumi it was a big step.

A few seconds later, Liam tried to get back to him. At the moment of wanting to step up, Harumi seemed to give a firm rejection and stepped back further making the distance between them.

With a guilty face and Liam knew for now he had to throw his Ego as far as possible "Iam so sorry, Please Don't Go"

For a moment, Liam did not move and only stared at Harumi for a very long time. Awaiting answer.

The feeling of tightness that appeared within his chest was unbearable, Harumi was like building a wall between them. Even to approach him a little, Liam was unable to do anything.

Everything Harumi wanted to say felt like bitter ashes on her lips at this moment.

"I need some space to breathe, I need Time" Harumi's heart was pounding so hard.

His heart felt heavy when Liam had to let Harumi with a kedaan like this. Liam will not be able to survive if the terrible event will repeat itself, the man thought to immediately solve this problem as soon as possible.

Harumi realized that if it wasn't for Liam, her life would have been lost. But, letting himself drift in the ego and choose to continue with the Man, the future they plan, the burning desire, will not last forever. He knew this relationship would end, and now was the time.

Harumi forced herself to take a quick step, The woman walked past Liam who was standing before her without any more talk.

"Rumi, Please" Liam grabbed Harumi's arm quickly. "Please Don't Go"

As Liam tries to pull Harumi away, the woman rebels "Don't do this, Let go !"

Harumi makes it hard to breathe, "Why ?" the other fingers extended onto Harumi's cheeks.

Harumi stepped aside avoiding her touch. "I don't want to talk about this anymore, I'm sure you've found the culprit behind the attack, I'm guessing it would be true if the person behind it was all your mother. Right ?"

Liam fell silent again, his gaze frozen. Unknowingly, he takes off Harumi's hand. Though, the man knew this was not the time he would tell this reality to Harumi.

"It's enough Liam, it's time We end this Relationship and Forget Everything that happens between Us. I'am So Tired"
