The Ameera Family Residence

"Anton is back ?" asked Ameera while looking at Harumi who had not touched her food in the least

Harumi shook her head quietly without answering.

Harumi's heart thumped loudly at the question, a moment of disappointment and urgent Anger within her unity.

The pain in his chest hit Harumi when he imagined Anton had not returned and remembered how he had to be hit with a bitter reality that he had to accept.

"Have you contacted him ?" the woman's gaze began to grow anxious

Once again Harumi did not reply, she just nodded slowly. Not one bit did he take his eyes off the food he only played with a fork since the plate was presented before him. The woman had lost her appetite.

It was already getting noon when Harumi and Ameera were at the dinner table, and Harumi's annoyance was already on the verge of breaking down. Even whiskey is not very helpful.

"Rumi..."

"I'm sorry, excuse me to go to the room first." cut him off instantly the woman with a seemingly powerless body forced herself to stand up and step towards her room

Ameera could not do anything, she could only look at him with deep concern as Harumi grew thinner and her face was ashen full of pressure. Ameera understood their situation, but the woman did not want to interfere in her sister's domestic affairs too deeply.

Because he really understands the character of his younger brother how stubborn Anton and his selfish nature is too excessive.

With a deep sigh, Ameera could only hope that Harumi and her sister could get through their troubles.

An hour later, Anton finally returned. With a riled face, his sharp eyes he stepped hastily into the house directly towards the bedroom.

The man's expression was extremely cold, he was still wearing the same clothes since the last time he left the house. But, this time his appearance was a little messy.

As he opened the room door, his eyes immediately circled the room looking around . Until finally both of his eyes stopped on the bed where he saw Harumi who was lying there.

Hearing the sound of the door opening, the woman immediately turned her head and woke up.

Harumi was surprised with both of her wide-open eyes staring at Anton who was still standing in the doorway who was also staring at her.

Harumi tried to stay calm "Why did you just come home ? Where were you last night ?"

Anton, who was still standing in silence, looked only at his wife. Then, the man walked carefully toward Harumi and sat down at the bedside without taking his eyes off in the slightest.

"I slept in the hotel" he replied with a hoarse tone, the smell of liquor and cigarettes could still faintly smell

Harumi felt the tension within her suddenly, actually she was eager to spill all the resentment that had made her fed up.

"Hotel ? Which hotel is it ? were you at the hotel all night ?! Or ...?" his gaze pierced the tone of the woman's speech started to turn sharp

Her husband just gave a slanted grin "Are you starting to interrogate me ?!"

"Let me ask, because you didn't tell me. Even your phone is off"

The man's mouth was clenched to form a firm line.

Then, he stood up and threw a mocking gaze towards Harumi "How are you feeling now ?"

Harumi's eyes flashed with an almost uncontrollable fury "WHAT DO YOU MEAN ?!"

Anton chuckled softly then changed with a laugh as if Harumi was giving an Entertainment show in front of him.

The woman gritted her teeth, opening her eyes wide "I'm not joking !!!" he said with a fiery tone.

As he walked slowly towards the balcony, the man was endlessly laughing even so casually "What do you feel now, that's how I feel when you've been out of contact for days. When you arrived in New York, there wasn't even a single short message I had you reply to. You just disappeared for days without news. And now you know what it's like when I only left you one day last night"

Anton found himself watching the woman's every move, the anger on his face an annoyance and his face that actually looked weary.

"I was angry, Annoyed, Restless at the time. How can a married woman choose to go to another country that traveled a very long distance alone without giving any news. Do you realize Harumi, who really should be Angry ! Can't you be a OBEDIENT wife, or..."

Harumi frowned "Or What ?!"

Anton laughed without any Humor "or were you playing with the Other Man behind me ?!"

It seemed very clear Harumi's expression was surprised to hear the sudden words of her husband. He was thinking hard, in him there was no reason to cover it up but it would seem very Stupid if Harumi was frank how He had ever been in a relationship with Liam. And Harumi didn't want at a time like this to reveal the Secret of Anton's Relationship with Cathy first.

Not otherwise.

Did Cathy tell Anton ?

"I can ask you the same thing ? Is there something you're hiding from me ?!" His voice was steady and his chin raised in an angle that Anton recognized as a sign of Determination.

The man gave a cynical grin, He walked minimizing the distance between the two "Hear My dearly beloved wife, Now you're going through a lot of Change. Even with the Courage you have, you look so charming" Anton touched Harumi's cheek with a cold, piercing look.

He brought his lips closer to Harumi's face and spoke softly almost whispering "Looking at your attitude now, you seem to already know something "

Harumi was silent for a moment, but then threw her gaze in another direction. It's like avoiding "What are you talking about right now ?"

Anton's eyes lingered on the gloomy face that flashed on his wife's face "Your mother, did she not say anything Important about our Marriage ?"

Not thinking much, Harumi immediately turned her head and looked at her "Don't play puzzles with me "

Anton stared for a moment, looking at Harumi's face. The man reminded Harumi of the forest beast, who was always watching. Waiting for the right time to hit "I'm sure Mrs. Whiston told you that"

That was not the answer Harumi expected and she could not hide her shock nor relief "You mean about Cathy ?!" a firm tone sounded echoing in Anton's ears

At first glance Harumi thought that there would be a sense of awkwardness and tension that was mounting on Anton's face as he said those words. But, instead Harumi was astonished to see her husband's calm demeanor and responded casually. As if he had prepared it, because sooner or later all this will be revealed later.

At first glance a small grin appeared on the man's face, there was no tension in him, although a frozen silence had enveloped the two "It seems I don't have to bother anymore to tell it in detail"

"You can still behave calmly ? after hiding it from me all this time ?" the anger peaked and now it can not be restrained. Because for what he was detained again.All is getting clearer now.

Now his life is full of problems and his brain should be full of calculations and solutions to those problems. Instead, his mind was filled with hatred.

Anton's eyes began to glow with something that Harumi did not understand, the man was silent and then cupped the woman's cheeks with both hands.

"Don't expect a divorce from me, even if you know the truth. I know your desire to part now will get stronger. But, I will never let you off Harumi. No - Never "that man's hoarse voice echoed in Harumi's mind

Harumi tried to break away from her grip, starting to rebel "Let go of me ! Remember well This is no longer Marriage, It's Prison."

"Ooh Prison ? Then you want to play rough. Alright"

Harumi felt angry, frustrated, scared. All mixed together, making his feelings change from furious to horrified in an instant until his head is dizzy.

When he wanted to open his mouth, Harumi had gathered all the remaining strength even though he knew his body was too weak to fight because all night he did not sleep there was no rest at all. But, this had to end soon, and immediately spewed out all the rage that was raging in his chest. Even almost Harumi wanted to finish the man into pieces.

But, unexpectedly something surprising happened before Harumi opened Anton's lips to silence him first.

Anton kissed her.
