After she finished preparing herself, Harumi walked out of the room and headed downstairs. While on the trip, Harumi had sent a short message to Cathy about his arrival. And he was greeted by his best friend happily, because he had missed him even though a few days ago they had met at Penthouse.

"Mrs. Harumi ?" call Scarlett who was not realized by him since a few seconds ago he has stood opening the car door for Harumi.

They walked into the building together.

Then Harumi's steps stopped as a few feet toward the elevator right in front of Scarlett.

He turned around "Scarlett, you'd better come back. Just get here, you're taking me. I can go upstairs by myself"

With a stiff expression, Scarlett refused loudly "Sorry Mrs. Harumi, but I must always accompany you"

Harumi tilted one corner of her lips "Did Liam ask you ?"

"Well, I appreciate it because it's a job you've been given, but please I need time to be with my best friend and I have a life you can't always follow anywhere."

"But Mrs. Harum..."

Harumi's brows furrowed "I'll talk to Liam, you don't have to worry. You better get back now"

Had rejected Harumi's request several times at that time, Scarlett finally softened.

The tall female bodyguard in the neat suit was still standing looking at Harumi from behind until she had entered the elevator and when the elevator door was closed she walked away from the place.

Halfway up the elevator to Cathy's Apartment Floor, Harumi continued to stare at her phone screen. From the look of disappointment, it was clear that what he saw on the screen was not something he expected. Well of course, there have been no incoming messages or calls from Liam since he left Harumi this morning.

Liam did not contact or just send Harumi a short message. Just a piece of paper he left on the bed. That'sthat's all.

There was a glint of annoyance in the glare of his eyes, and many questions filled his mind.

Harumi's eyes widened as her body froze standing before the man.

The man was tall, wearing a casual suit with a white t shirt wrapped in an ash suit, his hair neat with a brown glint.

His gaze pointed sharply at Harumi, he just stood up not to take his eyes off the woman. Looked at Harumi for quite a while. An atmosphere of silence mixed with tension between the two.

Harumi's heart was pounding incoherently, he clenched firmly both hands beside her.
