My student's my future husband?

My student's my future husband?
Episode 110's

Ferdian and Ridho boarded an All Nippon Airways plane that night. The sound of the roar of the aircraft engine was very clear when the two men set foot on the plane. They were sitting next to each other on that plane. Riding the plane, Ferdian's thoughts drifted to two years ago when he honeymooned with his wife to Japan on the same type of plane and airline. Ferdian breathed heavily.

"Are you all right, Fer?" asked Ridho when he had kept his backpack in the cabin of the plane's trunk.

"Yes!" ferdian replied briefly, looking behind the window beside him.

Ferdian still thought of Ajeng and Arsene in his mind. Actually he was hard to leave them, even if only six months. But he also wanted to help his father, as a form of devotion from the child to his parents.

The trip to Chicago, Illinois, United States takes a long time. It takes at least 21 hours or more to get there. The plane will also transit first at Narita Airport, Japan, and then they will change planes to Chicago with the same airline. A stop at Narita would certainly take Ferdian's mind. He also visited the airport on his honeymoon. Ajeng filled Ferdian's mind at this moment. He recalled that on the plane, he kept holding his wife's hand, sometimes he acted spoiled in front of her, or they bribed each other for food. Then when he got off the plane, he carried the body of his wife who looked radiant, very beautiful in his eyes.

The plane took off on a cold night. Hopefully the weather throughout the trip is great, so as not to interfere with their flight.

He got out of his car that night when he arrived at his apartment building. Before going down, she offered to stay at her house. However, Ajeng reasoned that tomorrow there was a teaching schedule so he had to get ready.

Carrying Arsene's sleeping body. With a giant step he walked to the elevator, the atmosphere of the apartment was so cold and quiet, especially the night was already late. Somehow it was cold than usual, probably because his heart was empty. He also opened his door. Bi Asih welcomed his return, he helped put Arsene on his bed. Ajeng chose to soak himself in warm water with aromatherapy essential oils that would help him calm his mind.

The fragrance of greentea really helped calm her feelings, but the fragrance also reminded her of her husband. Ferdian loved that fragrance so much when they soaked together. After only a few hours, his heart missed him. Ajeng chose to lay his body beside the body of his son who had fallen asleep. He gently stroked Arsene's hair, then noticed her tiny face. She smiled in gratitude for having a bedmate tonight and the nights that followed. Ajeng eventually fell asleep when his fatigue overpowered his body that night.

New days are ready to welcome tomorrow.

\=====

Ferdian and Ridho had arrived at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport in the afternoon on Monday. The gently blowing spring breeze felt cold, as it seemed that the rest of the long winter yesterday was still felt. Ferdian has been wearing his black hoodie. He carried his backpack and walked to pick up their suitcases.

A man wearing an ash leather jacket and a baseball cap held a small poster paper bearing the names of Ferdian and Ridho there. The two Indonesian men approached him.

"Good afternoon, sir!" ferdian said to a blond-haired male, who may be in his 30s.

"Are you Ferdian and Ridho?" tanyakanya.

"Yes, we are! Are you Mr. Andrews?" ask Ferdian.

"Yes, I am. Come and follow me, please!" he said it was polite and friendly.

Ferdian and Ridho followed the man to the airport parking lot. Sean Andrews unlocks a black sedan. Then tell Ferdian and Ridho to get into his car.

"Welcome to Chicago, Illinois" said the blond man, smiling.

Ferdian sat next to Sean, while Ridho sat in the back seat.

"Mr Winata has been contacting me since last month. You'll live in Winston Tower, and you'll get training every day" Sean said in English with his British accent.

"Are you American?" asked Ferdian, his accent sounded different.

"No, I'm English. My accent may be known."

"Yes, you're right! That's why I asked you, just to make sure."

"But I've been living here for five years. It seems, my accent is hard to change huh?"

"Yes that way!"

"You're Indonesians, right?"

"Yes right."

"I remember someone" Sean said as he drove his car.

"Do you have any Indonesian friends?" ask Ferdian curiously.

"More than just a friend to be honest" Sean smiled.

"Daughter?"

"More or less like that. But it happened three years ago. We're not in touch anymore."

"Ooh..."

Sean turns his car around in a tall, semi-modern style building. He put his car into the basement. And then stop it there. Ferdian and Ridho looked at the height of the building that they could not reach.

"We've arrived!" said Sean.

The three men got out of the car. Then Sean opened the trunk and took Ferdian and Ridho's belongings from there.

"I'll take you to each of your rooms."

"Are there always a lot of people doing this training?"

"Every spring until summer, there are usually 30 people who participate. Various companies from all over the world usually put their best people here."

Ferdian and Ridho nodded. Sean escorted them into an elevator. Then the man pressed the three and six buttons. It means they're all going up to the 36th floor. The total floor of the building is 50 floors.

"Have everyone arrived?" ask Sean Ridho.

"Almost all have come. The participants this time are really diverse, there are participants from India, China, Italy, Brazil, Malaysia, and of course Indonesia. Training classes will begin on Wednesday. You have to be ready at 10am every morning. Breakfast and lunch, always prepared for you on the 37th floor. While you guys are going to do the training on the 38-40th floor."

They arrived on the 36th floor. There were many doors along that very quiet hallway. The dim lights stay on.

"Ferdian, your room is number 3619, while Ridho is number 3620."

"okay!"

Sean gave them the keys to their room. Then they went into their rooms, Sean was still accompanying them, explaining everything Ferdian and Ridho would do during the training. He also bought a new number specifically for the duration of their stay in America.

"You can only go out on Sundays, the rest you have to stay and do activities in this building alone."

If you need my help, just contact me, because I am indeed given the task to accompany and guide you.

"So are you going to accompany us during the training?" ask Ferdian.

"Yes right. The trainee from Indonesia was given his duty to me."

"Are there any other Indonesian participants besides us?" ask Ridho.

"It doesn't seem to."

Ferdian and Ridho looked at each other, then shook their heads. "It doesn't seem!" answer Ferdian.

"Alright, I'll let you rest until tomorrow morning. Then I'll get you to know this building tomorrow."

"Thank you Sean!"

"Together! I also live here if you need anything, I live on the 32nd floor."

"All right!"

"I'm sorry, good night!" sean said goodbye to the two men.

So did Ridho who returned to his room that night to rest.

Ferdian closed the door to his room. He put his suitcase in front of the closet and put another backpack on his desk. The room was very similar to the campus dormitory. It's just that the size is bigger, and the interior is neater and modern, of course. The large glass of the room faces Lake Michigan. He could look at the city of Chicago on the lake shore, even though the building was not too close to the lake. But with the height of its current location, he could easily look at the lake and sky together, like his apartment. The lights of cars and buildings look crowded filled a dark day. While the luster of stars in the sky was defeated by the lights. Ferdian preferred to look up at the sky.  If in place it is still night, surely in Indonesia it is morning, because the time difference between Chicago and Indonesia is about 24 hours.

His phone was on at 9 p.m. The night is still early when referring to the sky here. He was eager to contact his wife, but he was worried that he would disturb her because he knew that Ajeng had a teaching schedule. But he will keep contacting her.

"Halo assalamu'alaikum.." the soft voice he always missed.

"Wa'alaikum..."

"Darling?"

"Hi, I'm in Chicago, baby!"

"Alhamdulillah..."

"Where are you?"

"I'm on campus again, I'm out first again."

"I'm sorry I'm bothering you."

"It's okay, honey!"

"I just want to hang up, let's not think about it."

"Thank you dear. You take a break, you must be tired, right?"

"Well that's it!"

"Oh yeah, there's a surprise in your suitcase. Check it out yourself, right?" say Ajeng.

"Well, thank you so much, baby! Did I rest first, huh?"

"Yes, Honey! Have a nice day! Don't forget your appointment, call me every day?"

"Ready, Honey! I miss you. Assalamu'alaikum."

"Miss you too, wa'alaikumsalam."

Ferdian hung up the phone and put it on the bed. He quickly opened his suitcase. All looking for a surprise entrusted by his wife, he also put his clothes into a closet carelessly. He found a sweet brown paper bag. His money is like the body of his wife.. He misses her. Then she opened the contents, which turned out to be Ajeng's favorite nightgown. She kissed the dress, it was very fragrant. There's a paper written there.

If you miss me, hug this

Ferdian smiled and kissed the dress again. He also found another surprise, another paper bag. The difference is, this time it contains Arsene's clothes, and the fragrance of baby perfume. Ferdian smelled the clothes.

There are other surprises. There was a maroon-colored box located at the base of the suitcase, stacked on her clothes. He opened it immediately. There's a famous silver-branded watch there. Ferdian's eyes were wide. His heart was happy not to play. He also opened a small note that Ajeng had written there.

"Thank you very much, dear!" said cheerfully. He just put on the watch that fits on his wrist. Maybe you've measured it first. Ferdian smiled as he tidied up his suitcase. Then do the activity before actually taking a complete break tonight.

That day was the first day training began. Each participant has been given their own uniforms, for men is a suit and black pants with a white shirt, and a red tie. Likewise with female participants, different they wore black span skirts.

Ferdian and Ridho came out simultaneously from their room. Then they set foot on the 37th floor, where they would enjoy breakfast. They also met the other participants, who were wearing the same uniform. Ferdian and Ridho smiled at the others as they set off together in the elevator.

A spacious room without a bulkhead with many tables and dining chairs is located on the 37th floor. There are several buffet tables on it that have presented a variety of appetizing dishes. Looks like this morning breakfast menu presented American Breakfast menu. Sean said that the dish here is moslem friendly, meaning halal, because there are indeed many Muslim participants who participate in this training.

"No rice, euy!" said Ridho as he picked up a white porcelain plate.

Ferdian just laughed, let alone the Sunda Ridho dialect coming out of his mouth.

"If the Indonesian, without rice seems to have not eaten huh? But you are slim so do not have to eat rice too enough times!" ferdian said in Indonesian.

"Well, I'll have to ask for more stomach. Can you add, right?"

"By his wealth!"

Ridho. Ridho's body this time was already ideal. After graduation he actually implemented a healthy diet and exercise routine. Her puffer cheeks had now turned burly. Ridho looks more fit and fresh with his body now.

"I want to take sausage with pancakes!" said Ridho took some cow and chicken sausages, and some pancake piles that he doused with caramel sauce.

While Ferdian prefers wheat bread accompanied by crumbled egg or Indonesian scrambled eggs as well as cow sausage. He also took a cup of hot black coffee with a little plant-based creamer.

The two chose a long table on the side of the wide window and facing towards the city. No one is filling that table right now. So they just sit next to each other, even though there are eight seats there.

Suddenly a straight-haired long-haired female in bright brown, sat in front of Ferdian. He brought his breakfast plate.

"Hi Oppa, I'm sitting here huh?!" he said with a pretty strange English accent.

Without waiting for a reply from Ferdian, he sat down before him with a sweet smile.
