Kevin drives his car on a deserted road. It has been a long time since he has gone through these roads. The road he used to pass often when going to leave for campus or go home. Jazz music chimes in his car that he drives slowly. He does not want to rush, he still wants to enjoy while remembering his college days.
The pointy-faced man occasionally smiled. His mind was slightly disturbed by the incident this afternoon. Why did he meet that woman there? Kevin bit his index finger. I don't know why his heart is so agitated. Kevin drove his car fast so he could get to his house.
"Have the show finished?" mrs Yuana asked, Kevin's mother, seeing the return of her son that night.
"Already, Mi! I'm gonna take a break, okay?" kevin's permission to go into his room.
Kevin took off his shirt and immediately replaced it with a plain shirt. He put his body on the bed. His mind drifted to a few years ago.
The breeze in the afternoon caressed her face gently. The tallest roof in building B is their favorite. There were not many people there, except the janitors who usually relaxed while enjoying their cigarette butts. Ajeng and Kevin sat in an iron chair whose paint had started to rust due to the friction of the rain which made it no longer smooth. The sky began to bring out its tinge.
"So you want to continue your studies in America?" tanya Ajeng looked at Kevin who was staring at the vast sky.
"Yes! I have also started applying for scholarships from some big companies that have study abroad programs" Kevin smiled.
"Good, good luck wherever you are!"
"You don't want to come with me?"
The lecturer thought for a moment. Then he smiled.
"I'll wait for you here" he replied later.
"Why? Though we both have great potential, baby if you just stay here!" kevin asked, looking closely at Ajeng.
"I will continue to study at this campus and teach here later" Ajeng smiled.
Kevin closed his eyes. He's trying to see his future out there. He is confident that hopes for his future will shine when he continues his studies abroad. Then return to Indonesia to advance the efforts of his Papi who stumbled. And the woman beside him was in her future plans.
"So, if I'm back, should I find you here?"
"Yup, it could be. But I commit to my plan, so I will try to teach here" Ajeng replied by tying his hair.
Kevin smiled radiantly at Ajeng, and the woman returned to reply.
Kevin breathed his breath rough. Ajeng is married, and he is now two-bodied. The man was really late to come to see him, even though he had come since one year ago. If only he had met her soon after returning home, there might still be hope for a future that went according to his plan.
Kevin looked at his phone screen. He still keeps Ajeng's cell phone number there, even though it was his when he was in college. He pressed the 'call' button'. Stupid, of course, will not connect.
However, the call was completely connected. Instantly his heart was beating. Ah, it might as well have been taken over by someone else, his inner self.
"Hello, good night?" a soft voice rang out picking up the original Kevin's phone call.
Suddenly Kevin became nervous. Should he answer or disconnect the phone? But his heart was too curious.
"Good night" replied Kevin doubtfully.
"I'm sorry who I'm talking to?" ask the woman's voice.
"What is this about Ajeng Chandra Diningrat?" kevin asked doubtfully.
"Yes right, with whom?"
DEG.
Kevin cut off his phone.

"Who, Honey?" asked Ferdian while drying his wet hair as it had just cleaned itself.
"Don't know! Suddenly it broke up!" ajeng replied astonished.
Ajeng put his phone on the nightstand next to him.
"Bobo yuk, I'm so sleepy!" bring Ferdian.
"Your hair is still wet, the cold is real! Then the wind!" exciting Ajeng.
"Yes, he has given me!" said Ferdian while continuing to rub his hair with his towel.
Ajeng stroked his large belly while praying in his heart.
"Ah tired!" exclaim Ferdian threw his towel over the sofa.
"But in the clothesline, honey!" said gentle Ajeng.
"Tomorrow ah!" said the man who had wrapped his body with a blanket.
Just shake, then turn off the lights.
"Darling, can I ask you a question?" said Ferdian softly.
"She's going to sleep!"
"One day!" he hugged his wife's body.
"Hmmm...." Ajeng.
"What is your relationship with the donor man other than a classmate?"
DEG. Ajeng's heart jumped, in fact he had thought, Ferdian would definitely ask like that. He should honestly say it because it was just part of his past.
"Do you know or are you ordinary?" tanya Ajeng.
"Banget, really, really!" answer Ferdian.
"Okay, I'll tell you everything!"
Instantly Ferdian felt a thump.
Ajeng sighed.
"Kevin, for me, was more than just a classmate. He was studying, confiding, playing, anyway I feel comfortable with him, first."
Ferdian held his breath. He wanted to clog his ears at this moment. However, he himself asked Ajeng to answer his question. The sleepiness just disappeared. He remained silent and would continue to listen to his wife's story.
"We used to have the same desire that is to continue the study together. He said he wanted to go to America, while I wanted to continue in Indonesia. As a result, our desires are not fulfilled, because our desires are different in the matter of place."
"I hope you don't have a problem with this, Fer? He's just part of my past. Inget, you are my present and my future!" said Ajeng.
Ferdian is pounding more and more erratically. What else would Ajeng say about the man?
"Honestly, we used to have the same feeling. It was a bit impossible if I felt flat, I was close to Kevin while he was the most perfect (almost perfect) man, so I kept more feelings for him. So is he. We are not dating because we do not want to. But it is said that relationships without status are also not, because we are rarely together. We are together if there is a task, and it is always on campus, surrounded by many people. Yes but sometimes we often play to the roof of building B, just to see the sunset while chatting the future. But yes, that's it."
Ferdian downed his salivary that had been restrained since earlier.
"But how did you feel after meeting him?" ask Ferdian.
"You said only one question (you said only one question)?!" adjeng reminded.
"Oh come on, one more this!" pinta Ferdian.
"I'm shocked, but I'm just shocked because we finally met again. Although there is a sense of nervousness, I think it is natural because we were once close and after all these years we just met again! Yes Fer, I want to sleep! I'm sleepy and there's a schedule tomorrow morning!"
Ferdian sighed. He took off his arms and lay down against the ceiling. Ajeng did not bother, he would just close his eyes and rest completely, because his body had already asked for his right.
Ajeng is asleep. While the man beside her was still thinking about the possibility that could happen in the days to come. She had to be more prepared, not just because Ajeng was about to give birth, but how likely it was that the man would appear again before her.
\=====
Ferdian plays his pen, while he puts the weight of his head in his left hand. His gaze was blank, his mind leaping at yesterday's events. His heart was not calm.
"Woy! Nightmare!" Malik.
"Now, think of something!" answer Ferdian flat.
"Why Lo? Dong's story!" malik put his bag on the seat next to Ferdian.
Class that day was still quiet. Ferdian did come faster because Ajeng asked for it. So Ferdian had to wait longer for his college schedule. Luckily, the class he wore at the second hour had no one to fill it. Fifteen minutes of classes are about to begin.
"What kind of competition? How can?" malik asked raising his eyebrows.
"My wife showed up!"
"Former Lo?"
"Former heart, not ex-boyfriend."
"Why are you worried? Isn't Miss Ajeng already in love with Lo?"
"Yes, I'm worried!"
"Just relax, the important thing is that Lo must always be there wherever and whenever your wife needs. That's the key (That's the key)! If you cross a fraction of a second, where your wife is in need, bye bye deh!"
Ferdian muttering. Malik was right, he should always be there next to his wife.
"Spirited dong, be a Hot Daddy again! If Lo is a cool father for your children, surely the wife is more in love, believe me no?"
Ferdian looked silently at Malik.
"Women are at best the same men who are responsible, and proof that you are the man" Malik said again.
"Thanks, Lik! Maybe I was too overrated. I should focus on the same preparation of Ajeng and my son later," said Ferdian who is now in a better mood.
Not long after, other students arrived. The morning lecture before noon was running, Ferdian tried to focus on absorbing the knowledge delivered by his lecturer that day.

"Do you think it's better to love someone or to love someone?" ask Novi to Ajeng in between the lecture break.
Ajeng muttered. He thought for a moment about meeting Ferdian.
"It is better to be loved by someone" Ajeng replied, opening his bottle and gulping down.
"Even though we don't love that person?"
Ajeng.
"Could you love someone who loved us first?" tanya Novi hesitated.
"You can, if your heart is open!"
"Oh yeah? Hm..."
"In the beginning you can like your husband how? Though you guys will be betrothed," asked Novi curiously.
"At first my husband liked me. His maturity and way of thinking finally made me open up. Over time, I fell in love with him" Ajeng explained.
"Are you hesitating at first?"
"Yes, he's just a student that I look at one eye. But after talking to him, it turns out he's even more mature."
"Why Nov? Tumben!" ask Ajeng.
"I'm known to my parents, but I'm less like that guy."
"Why not sreg?"
"Because ..., classic reason anyway. I'm not interested in the physical!"
"Or maybe you already have a stroke, so your heart is closed to others. Right or right?" tanya Ajeng gave him a suspicious look.
The short-hijab woman was grinning.
"Hehe, yes!"
"Who? Tell me dong!"
"No, I'm ashamed!"
Ajeng grinned, he would guess the bustle of Novi.
"Ardi huh?" tanya Ajeng squinted her eyes.
"Sst! Don't fuss!" sergeant Novi.
"Have you tried talking to Ardi?"
"Udah but we're rich don't connect that way. I also don't know if he's moved on or not from you!"
"God! Ardi kanya has moved on deh, he is a realistic type, he must be looking for it too."
"I don't dare to be honest with him yet, Jeng!"
"Want I tell you?"
"Don't!!!"
"You've got to try it yourself, Nov! No prestige even though we are girls, honestly, I used to make Ferdian so much more like me!"
"What time?"
"Yes, I used to fight him a lot, haha! It's screwed! But I like to see he's rich that, uh know even I'm the one who ended up misbehaving! Well if Ardi, I don't know, what way can make him comfortable?"
"Why do you think Ardi used to like you?"
"Come Nov! I'm not sure either!"
"So what do you think I should do?"
"Shoot Ardi, be honest with him! If he answers that are not as expected, you must move on, do not be sad for too long. Open your heart to others, who may be much better than Ardi!" answer the Adverbs without further ado.
"That's yeah? So I have to be brave?"
"Yes! Sometimes we have to act faster than wait, when to try?!"
Novi sighed, he fixed his hijab. He thanked Ajeng for his input. At that moment Ardi walked past them.
"Hey Jeng, Nov!" sapana.
"Hi!"
Ajeng rolled his eyes at Novi.
"How'd it go?" whisik Novi's.
"Take him out to eat!"
"Oh yeah, sip sip!"
He lifted both his thumbs.

A man stands on the roof of the B building of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences. He looked at the afternoon sky as before, a strong wind blowing through his hair. Students, lecturers and staff who had just completed the activity were seen walking on the sidewalk. Others approached their vehicles in the parking lot. The view on the campus courtyard is very clearly visible from the roof of building B, a building that has a higher floor than other buildings.
Ajeng just came out of the dean building. The wind greeted her long hair. She smiled very nicely while welcoming someone in front of her. She kissed the back of her husband's hand. The tall man, peeping back at his woman's forehead, continued into his stomach. The man led Ajeng into his car. Their car drove, leaving an invisible tire trail on the asphalt.
Kevin saw the view from above. He smiled, holding his lips. Ajeng is happy now. But there was one thing that stuck with his mind. Why does the woman not remember her promise first, which will wait for her to return?
Should he take that promise to her?
