My student's my future husband?

My student's my future husband?
Episode 32

Ajeng looked at the body of her husband who was asleep, while eating the fruit salad he made earlier.

The woman seemed to think of something. Something that made him think far away. Tomorrow, Ferdian should be lecturing in the first hour until the afternoon. He, of course, will give the doctor's letter to the lecturers concerned, as well as for the next three days.

This will certainly invite a lot of questions from the lecturer who will give a letter, about what the relationship between Ajeng and Ferdian, students who are the pride of the campus.

Ajeng sighed. He put the bowl of fruit salad on the table. He leaned his body on the sofa.

Maybe it's time their relationship will be known to the public. But he will not take a headache, people will know sooner or later. Shouldn't that be a good thing, so that the people around them no longer misunderstand and no longer put their false hopes on their popular selves.

Ferdian's eyes opened and saw his wife daydreaming.

"Darling....!" call him softly, making Ajeng a little surprised by it.

Ajeng walked up to him and sat down on a chair beside the mat.

"Why?" ask a gentle adjeng.

"You tired?"

"Yes a little bit" he said flatly, considering that many of his family relatives visited Ferdian today. Including her in-laws, who will take turns to look after Ferdian tomorrow when Ajeng will go to the campus giving a doctor's letter.

Ferdian gently stroked Ajeng's strung hair.

"Fer...tomorrow what is your college schedule?" tanya Ajeng held Ferdian's hand.

"I have a Bu Resti schedule, Mr. Julian, Miss Novi, same Mr. Mike," replied Ferdian while recalling.

"When is Tuesday?"

"Tuesday's only two courses, Mrs. Anita is the same Ardi," he said looking at Ajeng's tired face.

"Okay, I have asked for a doctor's letter for your college permit and tomorrow I will give it to the lecturers who taught you," said Ajeng.

"You sure you want to love? Don't you want Ridho or Malik?" asked Ferdian not sure let alone see the look on his wife's face looks moody.

"It's okay, I don't think it's good to hide our status for too long. Just yes, I will explain to people who are asking questions," Ajeng explained, his determination was round.

"You're strong woman, baby! By the time, they will also know our relationship" said Ferdian stroking gently the cheek of his wife who is now sitting on the mat.

Ajeng.

"I love you!" soft words Ferdian.

"I love you too," Ajeng replied with a brief kiss on Ferdian's lips.

"Sorry to interrupt." Suddenly someone enters and again catches the affection of the two.

Ckckck.

Ajeng parked her husband's black sedan in the parking lot. He came out with a more casual outfit, because today there is no teaching schedule.

News related to the Ferdian accident has been widely discussed by campus people including lecturers. The students were sitting in front of the dean building, waiting for their lecturer to discuss their thesis.

A high-statured final-level student approached Ajeng.

"Good morning, Miss!" sapana.

"Morning, Nathan!"

"I guess I can guidance again the same Miss when? Chapter 3 of my thesis has been revised, as Miss Ajeng put it yesterday" asked Nathan.

"Well, sorry I'll try to find some more time, Nat! You try to ingetin me again via chat," explained Ajeng.

"Oh yes, well then Miss!"

"You do it first Chapter 4, let me check later," said Ajeng.

"Well Miss, I'll say thank you!"

"Together!"

Ajeng set foot on the 3rd floor where the lecturers of English literature gathered.

"Hey, Jeng! Tumben Monday to campus?" ask Novi who is cleaning the paper of his student's assignment.

"Yes there is a need! Oh yes, you are teaching class A class 2018 right? Scientific writing course?" tanya Ajeng who put her bag on the table Novi. He opened his bag and looked for a doctor's letter.

"It's noon, why?"

"I put this on" Ajeng said, giving her an envelope.

"What's this?" Novi asked while opening the contents of the envelope, which turned out to be a doctor's letter stating that Brother Ferdian could not enter to attend the lecture because he still had to get treatment.

Ajeng's heart thumped after giving the envelope.

"Lho, how come you're the one who tipped off? What is your relationship with Ferdian?"

Little smiling.

"It's good to be in class" replied Novi who in his mind was still wondering.

"Okay, aki go first huh? Thanks, Nov!"

"Together, oh yes Jeng! Who yesterday you sorry I didn't?" Tanya Novi recalled their last meeting at the end with a thin tone of Ajeng.

"No problem, everything is okay!" answer Ajeng while leaving the room.

Now, the woman wearing cotton pants and a vintage flower-patterned blouse is walking into building C room C105. Where should Ferdian's friends study there. A little wander at the window to make sure that Bu Resti is teaching there for the Logic course.

"Assalamu'alaikum..," knocking Ajeng at the closed classroom door, he opened the door and his head slightly lowered in the open door.

"Wa'alaikumsalam," replied Bu Resti, a senior lecturer who has taught at the campus for decades.

"May I came in, Mom?" Permission to be polite.

"Just come here" he answered.

The walk with a heart beating. He realized Ferdian's close friends were staring at him. Same with his other classmates.

"Why My darling?" asked Bu Resti whose back of his hand was kissed Ajeng as a sign of respect to the parents.

"Sorry to interrupt Mom, but I want to give you this," Ajeng said.

"What's this?"

Ajeng told him that there was a student who was not present because of the accident and he left the doctor's letter to him. He said in a soft voice.

"You are really good to be bothered with students," said Bu Resti.

The teacher just smiled stiffly.

"I'm sorry Mom! Thanks very much!"

Ajeng immediately walked out and closed the classroom door, before Bu Resti opened the letter. Heart's strewn.

He heard Bu Resti say in front of the class.

"Ferdian was in an accident?" ask Bu Resti to his students.

"Yes ma'am, it's early Sunday!" Answer Malik who knows best.

"How poor! But why did Ajeng give you this letter?" ask him to yourself.

While Malik, Syaiful, Danu, Ghani and Ridho only look at each other. The other students were whispering about it.

Ajeng ran around after Bu Resti mentioned his name earlier. He accidentally hit someone.

"Eh sorry." Ajeng said to the person he was talking to.

"What's wrong, you're in such a hurry, where are you going?" asked Ardi who had just come and was about to teach.

"Eh coincidentally, tomorrow you have a schedule for class A courses Translate English - Indonesian right?" ask Ajeng.

"Yes right" answered Ardi.

"I just want to put this on!" he said he was giving an envelope.

"Huh? Oh okay, I'll open it!"

"Okay, I'll go first, Di! Thanks!" said Ajeng while running back to the deanate building.

Ardi looked at Ajeng astonished, why is he in such a hurry? Asked in his heart, he kept the envelope in his pants pocket.

There are only three more lecturers, who are lucky Ajeng can meet in the lecturer's room. After his job was done, he went straight back to the hospital.

Ardi returned to his room after finishing teaching a Basic Writing class for freshmen. The paper contains the handwriting of the students who make a few paragraphs of the story that he tidied up to be examined later.

Ah, he remembered, this morning he got an envelope from Ajeng which he put in his pants pocket. He took the white envelope and opened it. A license from the hospital turned out, of course, what was Ardi expecting? Love letter from Ajeng? He laughed at his own mind.

Ardi's eyes widened when reading the doctor's letter on behalf of Ferdian Setya Winata. Like the expression of other lecturers, Ardi wondered why the letter from Ferdian should be tithed to Ajeng who in fact was the lecturer of the child?

Ah, so Ardi remembered something, the boy, was he not the one who had bothered him several times while being with Ajeng in the canteen? Then what is the relationship to the extent that Ajeng is willing to deliver the letter to each lecturer concerned? Ardi's mind spun, his eyes glancing upward occasionally to the right or to the left. He looked at the name again. Ferdians. 'Fers?'

Didn't Ajeng ever call that name yesterday? And even Papa Ajeng also called that name on that night.

DEG.

At that instant, the man's heart no longer calmed down.
