My student's my future husband?

My student's my future husband?
(S2) Ep 43. Letterbox

Small, dry leaves fell from above his head as the wind blew on him. Raffa pulled out his hair, there was a dry leaf stuck there.

Raffa was sitting on the park chair where Zaara had just sat there. With his heart pounding, the man opened the letter Zaara gave him a few minutes ago.

His proposal last week was indeed welcomed by Zaara's parents at home. Even Raffa gets constant flattery from Reza, which makes her heart breech. That guy is really confident. Optimism shrouded his resolve. He has loved Zaara since High School, knowing his joy was reciprocated at the time, the man continued to look for her.

Raffa took a deep breath, then avoided him for a while. He opened the purple paper.

Assalamu’alaikum wr.

Bismilbornrahmanirrahim's. May Allah forgive and bless us always. May Allah bestow good on Mas Raffa and his family.

First, I would like to say a lot of thanks to Mas Raffa and the family, for having good intentions to ask me, this girl who still stinks. Honestly, I am flattered that there are good men who are interested in me.

Thank you also because Mas Raffa has given time for me to think and weigh, I always ask for guidance from God so as not to step wrong. Hopefully they do that too.

A soul mate is a mystery, only God knows. The task of man is to strive and pray, and to strive to get the best. I have asked God for guidance, trying perhaps to cleanse the heart of anything else. God willing, I have found the answer for you. Sorry, I can't accept Mas's proposal. Maybe we haven't made a match or maybe it hasn't been on time, wallahu’alam. Here is my answer at the moment. Hopefully Mas Raffa can find a better girl than me. Hope you appreciate my answer.

Thank you for the many gifts that Mas gave me, especially for a book that made my view open about Young Marriage. May Allah repay the kindness of Mas and his family. Aamiins.

Wassalamu’alaikum wr.

Raffa was drowned to find Zaara's answer from the letter. He did not expect the girl to reject his proposal. Really, his heart was disappointed at this moment. His hopes last week had been held high, and today crashed into the earth. It hurts.

The man turned his face to the sky, then opened the letter again hoping that he had misread. But nothing changed there. The handsome man squeezed the letter. Suddenly his heart was broken. A book? Did he ever give Zaara a book? Why did Zaara write it there?

Raffa opened his letter which had been shuffled by his own hand. Then ascertain the words that Zaara wrote in the last paragraph of her letter. Young Marriage Book? He never gave me that book. Raffa crumpled the paper back, then dumped it in a garbage can. His heart feels hot. He knew who sent the book and he saw it here.

Arsene was wearing his shoes after performing the dzuhur prayer. The young man was seen laughing with his mosque friends. Suddenly a tall man approached him, making himself raise his face before the man.

“Can I talk to you for a minute?” pinta Raffa is standing in front of Arsene.

“Oh? Can!”

Raffa walked towards the mosque's backyard, close to the stairs that led them on the sidewalk to the main gate. The backyard of the mosque includes a quiet courtyard and is most rarely used by LDK children to conduct studies. There are no garden chairs, only many shady trees and ornamental plants. Arsene followed Raffa with curiosity.

Raffa stopped his steps, then turned his body. His haughty face was attached there with a well-built body and hands folded over his chest. His eyes stared intently at the man standing before him.

“What's the Mas?” asked Arsene to be polite in front of his senior.

“Do you like Zaara?” raffa asked suddenly, making Arsene frown.

“Why suddenly ask that Mas?” ask Arsene to investigate.

“You have a crush on him? Ah, that's for sure!” Raffa asked and answered it himself. Arsene increasingly does not understand the behavior of the man in front of him.

Arsene began to stare intently at his interlocutor.

“What business is there until Mas ask it is the same as me?” arsene asked, still trying to be calm.

“I just want to make sure.” The man began to speak formally.

“What is bothering Mas?”

“Of course. Zaara is my future wife now, so as much as possible you don't have to get near her anymore! Moreover send gifts with him!”

Arsene's heart felt like it was twisted when he heard the word ‘pal wife’.

“Ooh so Zaara would-be wife Mas? Sorry I don't know.” Arsene answered that in the end because he did not want to fuss with his mother's best friend's son. Especially this in the neighborhood of the mosque, really not beautiful.

“So it's true you sent the book?!” The intonation of his voice sounded pressing and rising.

“Ya right.”

“Remember my words earlier! Never approach Zaara!” press the man while pointing one finger in front of Arsene's face.

Arsene only smiled back at one corner of his lips.

Raffa turned his body then went by leaving Arsene still staring at him sharply. He chuckled at Raffa, who was overwhelmed with emotion, when just a few minutes ago the man's face looked sad and moody while reading a paper. There must be something going on, Arsene is convinced of that.

Arsene hastened to a park chair where he saw Raffa and Zaara meet earlier. It must be there. Arsene saw clearly, when Raffa threw the purple paper in a recycle bin. I hope it's still there.

Meet me!

Arsene opened the crumpled paper. It was fortunate that the trash can was full of dried leaves, so he could still pick it up. Stupid guy, Arsene put it in his mind. A smile of victory rose on his lips, filling his now sparkling face. Even so he would not be happy just yet, he had to keep his heart down, hanging all his hopes on the One Above. It still cannot be rash to step up. This paper really gave him hope. He's ready to pick her up.
