My student's my future husband?

My student's my future husband?
(C2) Ep 47. Towards Day H

The inaugural meeting will be chaired by Arsene this afternoon, related to the event to be held at the time of Eid al-Adha. Accompanied by Kang Ilman, Arsene opened a meeting attended by about 20 new students, along with his seniors. He has brought his agenda notebook, there are written points that will be discussed at this meeting. Nervously, Arsene opened the meeting. The young man rarely spoke in public or in front of crowds, so his public speaking was not honed.

As usual, the meeting was attended by students of the Brotherhood and this newspaper their existence was separated by hijab. The afternoon breeze greeted gently between the cracks of the twigs, wiggling the lush foliage beside the mosque's tuesday.

“Bismillah, assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,” said Arsene slightly sounding nervous.

All the participants of the meeting answered his greetings. Arsene opened his notebook.

“Alhamdulillah on this sunny afternoon, we are gathered together to discuss related events that we will schedule on Eid Al Adha Day. May God launch all our affairs in the future, Aamiin. Meanwhile, from some divisions that have been grouped, then I want to ask the event division first to explain the plans that have been prepared. Please!”

The meeting began with the discussion of several agendas planned before Day H, such as the study of Qurban fiqh, Acts of Prophet Ibrahim as. and Prophet Ismail as., the dissemination of proposals and brochures for animals Qurban, Qurban, and preparation of prayer. Continues to other supporting divisions, such as the publication division, finance division, and public service division. The meeting was quite conducive, although the talk was from the seniors who had already jumped directly, so the juniors paid more attention and would carry out their work after this. Arsene also noted more than the plans of each division, he will control and evaluate the performance of the team under him. That way he hopes things go well.

I don't think the sunlight has left the sky. The meeting must be completed and continued the next day to evaluate the performance they discussed today. Arsene closed the meeting, and thanked their friends and seniors who had attended. Not to forget he encouraged all his friends with a verse. “Yaa ai-yuhaal-ladziina aamanuu in tanshuruullaha yanshurkum wayutsabbit aqdaamakum.  O you who believe! If you help (religion) Allah, He will help you and strengthen your position (Q.S. Muhammad verse 7). May God ease all our affairs. Aamiins. We meet again at the next meeting. Syukron Jazakumullah Khair. Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatulahi wabarakatuh.”

Arsene deliberately memorized the verse that he had planted on him, so he could give that spirit to others.

Adhan maghrib reverberated as the meeting closed. The students who attended the meeting immediately dispersed themselves and went to take ablution, preparing for the congregation's maghrib prayer.

Arsene was resting her body on her desk chair that night. He just finished his grammar. Some to do list already filled the white board on the wall. The implementation of the Eid al-Adha Day is just a few days away. So far, all divisions are working well, only the financial division is experiencing problems because the number of people who do qurban and entrust to DKM is not too much. Arsene has been working around this by spreading the implementation brochure among lecturers and alumni. Evidently after that, some lecturers and alumni contacted the DKM and put their qurban animals in the campus mosque, so they could channel it according to what they had planned.

Arsene has not coordinated too much with Zaara related to the committee of the newspaper, because when the meeting he always said the performance of corporate committee always runs smoothly. So he has no problem with it, as long as there are no obstacles said from the newspaper.

Suddenly, his phone rang. A notification popped out from there. Whatsapp messages came in that night.

[Assalamu’alaikum. Afwan's intruding, but I need input. Just now I got a call from Sasing lecturer who last week deposited money for qurban in DKM Asy-Syifa, but he wanted to withdraw the money because he said he wanted to be distributed elsewhere. How do you think?]

The message came from Zaara.

The business finance division is indeed part of spreading proposals and brochures in FIB, FISIP, and FIKOM. So all the employees who bear the jawaabi. Arsene thought for a moment about this newly discovered problem. He knew all the money deposited on the DKM had been bought by the Qurban animals, considering Eid al-Adha who only counted the days.

[Wa’alaikumsalam. I tried to call Kang Ilman first.] The reply later, because he was worried about giving the wrong decision.

[Good] Zaara replied.

Arsene immediately called Kang Ilman at that time, considering the time that had been tight, because Kang Ilman also had to coordinate with the coach who supervised it. Fortunately, the quick decision came after he contacted his SC. Arsene contacted Zaara again, for fear of misdelivering, the young man immediately called Zaara.

“Assalamu’alaikum,” greeting Arsene was quite nervous, but he tried to calm himself.

“Wa’alaikumsalam,” replied the voice across was no less nervous.

“Afwan yes forced phone worry miskom.”

“Yes, it's okay.”

“So I called Kang Ilman, he said you have to confirm to the person tomorrow. I mean, the lecturer was approached and asked him, why suddenly change the contract, because it had been bought by a qurban animal. If the reason is acceptable, we should find someone else to replace the animal. Can I confirm it?” bright Arsene.

Zaara fell silent, thinking for a moment.

“Can you help? Maybe the teacher knows you. This is a male lecturer as well because of it,” explained Zaara.

“Oh? Can.”

“I made an appointment with him first yes, later I call again. Thanks, Sen!” pamit Zaara then said his greetings.

Arsene hung up. He forgot to ask what the name of the lecturer was, so that he could get ready to face it.

A few minutes later came another short message from Zaara on the WhatsApp app.

[Tomorrow he can meet before Dzuhur. Can you come with?] Zaara's Message.

[Okay, God willing. Can you know whose name the teacher is?] Ask Arsene.

[Pak Ardi Bastian]

Arsene is typing…. Long enough for the young man to type in his next words.

[Ooh I know! Agreement where?] Type Arsene hesitated.

[Directly in the deanate building. I'll wait for the Qurban form from Rosa's financial division first.]

[Okay!]

[Thank you]

[Together]

Without emoticons, without any symbols, the chat between them ended that night. Chat for a while and without any frills managed to make the man's heart pounding. It feels different when it comes to directly dealing with him. Though the content of the conversation is not something that takes care of personal matters. The man was a bit of a bully, trying to clean his heart.

As Zaara promised, they will meet at the FIB dean building this afternoon. Zaara and Rosa had already arrived when Arsene had just arrived entering the lobby of the dean building. The man scanned the room which was quite crowded passed by the students who wanted to take care of the administration of the lecture.

“Sen, his father is waiting in the lecturer room!” said Zaara suddenly startled her from behind. The man looked surprised when he looked.

“Shock yes? Sorry yes?!” zaara realized, the girl was grinning.

“Hehe. Yes, go straight to the top!”

The three new students climbed the stairs to the third floor, to the lecturer room majoring in English Literature. Arsene had been to this room to give up his late college assignments during writing classes. The man led the way in front of the two hijab-wearing girls behind him.  They reached the very end of the hallway of the dean, and Arsene knocked on the open door. Welcomed by a middle-aged woman who is a special employee, Arsene asked the whereabouts of Mr. Ardi Bastian.

“Masuk. He is waiting on the sofa!” exclaimed the bespectacled and hijab mother.

“Good, thank you, Mom!” arsene said, then turned to the two girls behind him to follow him into the room filled with tables.

A strapping man with his tall body was sitting on a dark blue sofa at the end of the room. The man with the neat little gray hair was playing his finger on his cell phone.

“Assalamu’alaikum,” Arsene bowed and greeted the lecturer with that light brown skin.

“From LDK DKM Asy-Syifa ya?” tanyakanya. The man's face had frown lines on his forehead as well as the side of his lips. Even so his sturdy body looks still fit.

“Betul Sir! I am Arsene, the Managing Director of Eid al-Adha on campus, an English Literature student as well. It's my friends, Zaara and Rosa,” the young man's light.

“Arsene yes?”

Arsene smiled.

“Sorry yes, yesterday I contacted this friend of yours, because it turns out there is a region in my parents' village is still less related to the distribution of this qurban animal. That's why I tried to contact you. Can it still be pulled?” ask the middle-aged lecturer.

Arsene pulled out the brochure she had taken from her bag. Then he explained that the money that had entered could not be withdrawn because it had been directly bought by the sacrificial animal. Related to the distribution of meat, then it can be investigated. If the location is still affordable by the DKM committee, then it can still be distributed to the area. But if not, then follow the procedures set by the committee.

Ardi nodded at the explanation of the student in front of him who looked mature and authoritative. It was as if he had seen the face of the student in front of him. Ardi looked back at the brochure that Arsene had given him, finding his final name, Ardi was a little surprised.

“Your name is Arsene Rezka Winata?” ask him while reading the name of the chief executive listed in the brochure.

“Betul, Sir!” arsene smiled.

“Winata family huh? Is it possible that you are Ajeng and Ferdian's son?” asked Ardi, suddenly making Arsene stunned. How could the lecturer in front of him know the name of his parents?

“Be-right, Sir! Where do you know?” ask Arsene curiously.

Ardi laughed as he patted the youngster on the shoulder beside him. Then he smiled widely.

“It should be very similar to them. I am Ardi, your mother's co-worker at Mentari University. I'm also your father's lecturer, Ferdian.”

Arsene was quite surprised to find that the man in front of him was his mother's co-worker. Zaara and Rosa looked at the two men before her.

“Why do you teach here?” ask Arsene.

“I moved here since ten years ago. I'm used to teaching here too. So now you are also studying at Sasing huh? Follow the footsteps of parents?”

Arsene smiled and said.

“So put it this way. I write down the address for my qurban meat distribution, if it is not possible to send to that address, please contact me!”

“Good, Sir!” answer Arsene.

“Oh yes, greetings to your mother and father yes?!”

“Siap, Sir! Is there anything you want to ask again?”

“No. Thank you!”

“Good, Sir! Then we'll excuse you. Assalamu’alaikum.”

“Wa’alaikumsalam.”

The three students said goodbye to Ardi politely, then left the lecturer's room majoring Sasing to return out of the building deanat. Ardi had sent an address like his request to Zaara, who then gave the girl to Arsene to be delivered to her superior.

“There are many yes, Sen!” zaara said to the man who had just checked his cell phone, when he set foot on the asphalt of his faculty road.

“Sama-sama!” he said a small smile.

"I'm first yeah, sorry there needs to be an impromptu!" rosa said in a hurry, the petite girl could no longer hold on there because her feet immediately ran towards the FIB gate. I don't know what the business is.

Zaara and Arsene just looked at him, now they were only two among the other students who passed by.

"Yes, I've also been there first, my friends have been waiting at the gate!" Zaara fixed the position of her grab bag.

"Ra... just a second!" sergeant Arsene.

Just as Zaara was about to leave, she turned her head back.

"What's wrong?" ask the girl suspiciously.

"I put this on, make it..."

Arsene decided the sentence, because he was busy reaching into the contents of his backpack. Zaara looked at him suspiciously and questioningly. Arsene was still looking for something in his bag. Whither? ask in the heart.

There are only a few folded brochures and also notebooks and textbooks. He sure put that thing in there. Only, why not meet. His heart grew worried and nervous half to death as Zaara kept watching him.

"Ah seems to be missing!" said later.

"What do you want to leave?" zaara asked still wondering.

"Other times it looks like, I'll find the stuff!"

Zaara squinted her eyes full of probes, then retracted her lips.

"Yes, I'm first!" his fate turned back around and then walked leaving Arsene who still felt bad.

"Duh fucked!" arsene slapped his head.
