My student's my future husband?

My student's my future husband?
Episode 127's

The white curtain is blown by the gentle afternoon breeze, forming small waves that go hand in hand from one side to the other. A cold, dark aura pierced the skin to the bone. The smell of alcohol smells thick. The two eyes of the woman who had the lashes were visibly shaking. He began to open his eyes slowly. The glare of the room lights shone in his eyes, making him blink. The fragrance he hated was now inhaled freely by his sense of smell. Instantly his heart flinched, pulling his body to wake up.

“Arsene!” his yell.

“Where Arsene mommy?!” he shouted at the people around him.

The faces of the people he knew were one by one looked at. Their eyes glazed over, appearing asphyxiated within the chest. There was papa, mama, Andre, and also his two in-laws.

“Mana Arsene, Pa?” ajeng's shout swayed the body of her father who was sitting beside her. The infusion hose installed in his hand swayed, making the pumpkin containing electrolyte solution shaken.

Papa hugged his daughter's trembling body, and rubbed her head.

“You must be strong, Honey!” said slowly.

Hearing that, her cries broke out from her eyes, instantly flooding all over her face. His memory revolves around events that happened a few hours ago. His body became limp again, making him roll on the mattress.

“Where's ferdian? I need Ferdian...” he said softly between his crying interludes.

Unable to hold back the dam of tears, her mother and mother-in-law were swept away in the atmosphere. They both hugged each other. The room was filled with a very dark aura of sorrow. Feels gloomy and cold.

Ferdian drowned on the seat of the airport lounge O’Hare, Chicago. He could no longer hold back his feelings. His entire face looked crimson, his eyes watering, and his jaw hardened. Sometimes he swallowed his saliva. Breath choked. The man was waiting for the arrival of the plane that would deliver him to his home country.

His mind was confused and his heart was broken into pieces, when his ears heard the news of his beloved son being the victim of an accident on his own campus. I don't know what happened until it happened to his son.

His feelings were filled with sadness, anger, worry, and all other bad feelings. Now his mind can not lean positive before he met the physical child. A voice call addressed all passengers heading to Indonesia to immediately board the plane that night. He got up and went to the plane that was going to take him.

Ajeng sat next to Arsene's body who was sound asleep with a reddish bruised face. Around the head of the cute fat boy was bandaged because of a deep cut on his forehead. Similarly, his left leg was broken due to a hard impact by a large motor that hit him. He held his tiny hand.

The man looked at him almost empty. Her eyes were swollen from crying too much. Even once every few minutes, the crystal grains appeared again.

You are my sunshine

My only sunshine

You make me happy

When skies are gray

You'll never know, my dear

How much I love you

Please don't take my sunshine away

The song You're My Sunshine she had heard on an online music playlist was now slashing softly in her mind. He should be thankful that God has not taken the life of his son. It's a harsh rebuke to him as a parent.

The sound of a squeaking wooden door swiping against the floor surface. The wind from the outside that was blowing fiercely instantly blew away the curtain curtain that was in the room. Ajeng turned his head slowly, seeing the face he missed so much. Like a dry grass that lives in the dry season, a drop of rain falls on his empty heart. His heart was fast. The owner of that face looked no less sad in his bowed gaze. His eyes looked glittering as they held back the crying.

The man put his suitcase behind the closed door, and immediately walked over to his slumbering son. Slowly and steadily he looked at his son. His body trembled and was no longer able to sustain, so he could only kneel down in limp.

“This Arsene daddy, darling! Daddy's home!” said Ferdian lirih who had risen.

But Arsene's condition is still under the influence of drugs after bone surgery this morning. The boy did not flinch.

Ferdian kissed his helpless son's cheeks and hands, with tears falling over his soft skin. He continued to do that, to the extent that his women were not hounded.

Ajeng touched Ferdian's hand to make him realize that his wife was in front of him. Ferdian looked at him with rosy eyes, then bowed again. His hands avoided that touch.

Ajeng's heart somehow felt scratched, the touch of her hand was ignored even avoided by her husband. He just looked at her while tightly grasping the edge of her shirt. Was her husband angry, disappointed, and disliked? Did he blame himself for the accident their son had? Does he hate her? The question raged in his mind.

Light rain flushed the sky of Bandung City gently. It felt more and more sad the atmosphere there. There was not even a long conversation between the two people who had been separated for several months. They just fell silent in their respective places, lingering in his mind. Although the previous longing in their souls was bursting. It seemed like the feeling had been completely replaced by the feeling of sadness that enveloped. The cold air greeting the more makes the heart freeze.

“You've eaten?” tanya Ajeng broke the silence.

‘I'm not hungry,” the answer is short. Of course, straight away that topic.

Ajeng bowed listlessly. His mind raged again, while looking around for roughly what topics could make this cold atmosphere warm. But he gave up, the atmosphere in front of him is not possible to warm let alone his son was not yet realized from his sleep.

Suddenly a knock was heard from the door. Ferdian.

“You've arrived, Fer?” ask her mother-in-law who came.

The man kissed the back of his hand.

“Iya, Ma! Last noon.”

Mama stroked his daughter-in-law's arm. “You guys are stoic huh? It's a test from Allah.”

Ferdian nodded small.

Mama walked over to her daughter who was still staring at her son. The middle-aged woman stood beside him while embracing his shoulders.

“Arsene strong child. Mama is sure she must have grown up to be a great child,” said mama.

Ajeng embraces the body of his mother, drowning her face in the stomach that had become his home first during the fetus. His body is sobbing again.

“You must be strong, dear! Mama is sure you can get through this,” said mama stroked her daughter's hair.

“You go home first and rest. Let mom and dad take care of Arsene tonight. You guys must need time together,” said mama again, now staring at her daughter-in-law.

Ferdian nodded. He stood up and hugged his mother again. Both decided to go back to the apartment.

\=\=\=\=\=

For three days the apartment was empty without residents. Furniture tools and items look a little dusty even though the layout is neat. Bi Asih was temporarily allowed to go home with his son, because his condition was not properly fit. Ferdian stared at the dwelling he had left for three months. The atmosphere changed slightly, with Arsene's many belongings and toys. There are also many stamps and scribbles of the work of his son. He smiled a little.

He walked towards his room. He tidied it up a little and cleaned it up. His heart was still agitated, as Ferdian had not spoken to him yet. Their gazes met when her husband entered the room. Soon Ajeng turned his eyes in the other direction.

Ferdian opened the jacket and shirt he had worn since. His body and heart were very tired. Moreover, his cry earlier seemed to tear down his entire soul. He saw Ajeng who looked wrong behavior was taking his clothes to put in the washing. He realized the woman looked thinner since the last time they met in person. But he can't touch it right now. His heart was still engulfed in disappointment, even the anger he was trying to extinguish. So, deciding not to talk to him was the right decision compared to having to hurt him with his words. He does not yet know how the terrible events that befell his son happened. The calm he needs right now. He walked to the bathroom after taking off all his clothes.

Meanwhile, Ajeng's breath felt stuck in his throat. It had been almost four hours Ferdian had been with him, but he could not speak long with him. Her heart was too disinclined and afraid to face the fact that the man did indeed hold a disappointment in her.

Ajeng cooks potluck dinner dishes with ingredients available in his refrigerator. It didn't take long, the dish was on the table. With hesitant steps, she walked towards her room to take her husband to the dining room.

“Honey...” call him with a rigid oral.

Ferdian, who was laying down his body on the bed, turned to him.

“We eat first,” he said briefly.

“Sorry, I'm not hungry. I'm tired, want to go straight to sleep,” he replied.

Ajeng blinked his eyes, trying to calm down.

“Oohh. You rest first!” he said, bowed down, then returned to the dining table.

Her tears fell back. Why is it that sick? Ask in the heart. He took a plate for her, and put dinner dishes on it with very few portions.

With tears running down, he bribed spoon by spoon into his mouth despite being forced to. The twang of the spoon collided with the porcelain, breaking the silence that was there. It felt loud and horrible. Meanwhile, Ferdian closed his eyes. His body was too tired to think.

\=\=\=\=\=

Silent. The mood greeted me that morning. There was only the clinking sound of the tableware as the husband and wife were enjoying their breakfast dish. Ajeng could not stand that atmosphere anymore. He stopped eating, making Ferdian look at him.

“We can't live rich gini on, Fer! I can't stand it. Please, talk to me. You want to be angry, disappointed, or hate, but do not let me be rich gini!” said Ajeng with teary eyes.

“I know you're angry with me right?! You must blame me for everything that happened to Arsene, right?! I am a mother who does not care for her child, and you deserve to be disappointed with me. But tell me, don't stay rich gini keep going!” yelling Ajeng again whose tears have now been shed.

Ferdian looked closely at his wife. His wife was right, she was harboring the disappointment and anger he was hiding. But he didn't know what to say at the moment.

“You want to be angry with me, just angry! I will not ban. I deserve to be scolded!” talk to me emotionally. His chest rose and fell as it regulated his breathing.

“Yes, you are right! I am angry with you. But I don't want to make this more complicated. That's why I choose silence,” replied Ferdian, making Ajeng speechless and then chuckling in his tears.

“You can punish me, Fer! If you think I'm not really Arsene!” squealed the long haired woman.

Ferdian. He clenched his hand. Anger that was held in his chest must be conquered. He did not want his speech to hurt his wife's feelings more deeply.

“Give me time to quell my anger!” said Ferdian, making Ajeng do not understand.

“You mean?” ask Ajeng.

“Don't meet me first for now!” his orders, made the woman before him frown.

Like being hit by a hot cannonball, Ajeng's heart was broken. That's not what he wanted. Why could her husband say that even when his heart was broken because of what happened to his son? She wanted her husband to forgive her.

Ajeng chuckled at her husband's absurd remarks.

“I'm serious!” he said again without looking at his wife.

“You want us to separate?!"

“Not like that!” sergeant Ferdian, get his body straight.

“Terus what?!"

“Let me think for myself, and don't meet me for a minute!”

“You're crazy, Fer! Where's your brain? Though I need you again and you tell me to stay away from you?” Ajeng.

“I want us to introspect each other and cleanse the heart!" his answer was now staring at his wife's face.

“But why should I stay away from you?” tanya Ajeng moved out of her chair.

“Because I don't want to hurt your heart!”

“Oke, if so!”

Ajeng inched away from her husband to her room. Then he put all his clothes and Arsene's clothes in his suitcase. Her tears kept flooding her cheeks. She still did not understand what her husband wanted. Merely, leaving this apartment was the only thing she thought of right now to grant her husband's request.

Ferdian didn't budge on the dining table. But he was surprised when Ajeng pulled a large suitcase from his room.

“Where are you going?” the soldiers are chasing Ajeng.

“You said I should stay away from you, is that what you want?!” end Ajeng tried to hit the defense of her husband's body towards the main door.

“Let me that go from here!” sahut Ferdian held back his female suitcase.

Ajeng stopped his steps, then stared intently at her husband's eyes.

“Terus why do you go back to Indonesia if you want to be rich gini Fer?! Why don't you just let me out and get mad at me from there?!” concluded Ajeng, he covered his face with both hands, then shed the body on the floor. She no longer understood the way her husband thought.

“Are you worried that I'll not take care of Arsene?!" her tan raised her face towards her husband who was still standing.

"Whatever you have in mind is up to you! For sure I will continue to accompany Arsene until he can walk again. I will stop working and give up all my career and ideals during this time,” explained Ajeng who sat on the floor.

Ferdian gasped at his wife's words. He stood up and took his suitcase away. While Ferdian stood on his frozen feet. His gaze was straight whether to look at what. He let his wife go with all the tears and the lance that was pierced in his heart. Instantly, his body shook violently, like dozens of bullets shooting at him simultaneously, making his legs unable to support his body anymore. He knocked himself down on the floor until his prostrate head touched the cold, smooth granite surface. Is this what he wants? His mind kept wondering.

“Pak to Kenanga hospital huh?” pinta Ajeng while sobbing in an online taxi that has been booked.

The taxi driver looked at him with a look of wonder and sympathy. He simply followed his instructions and passed to the not-so-distant hospital.

The woman's cry has not yet subsided. His heart is too sick. Unexpectedly, Ferdian preferred to stay away from him when he needed the man's strength and strength. Was the man really so angry with him over Arsene's accident? Did he really blame himself? Why could he think of such selfishness to her?

Ajeng took some tissue from his bag to wipe his tears that never stopped. He realized he loved Ferdian too much, so when the unilateral decision appeared his heart felt torn apart. The woman should calm down, trying to be positive even in her lowest point state this time. He should not be carried away by emotions that might bring this problem to be more crucial.

The crowded hospital grounds were already a common sight. People pass by because they are busy taking care of the administration of sick patients or waiting for prescription drugs. Ajeng dropped his things on the terrace that was not too crowded. After paying for his online taxi, his feet took him to a quiet mosque. He put his suitcase there, then took the water.

The time this morning still shows at eight o'clock. The boisterous sound from the direction of the hospital was only heard faintly when the woman poured tap water that washed her hands and face, as well as other parts. He took his white face. His mind and his whole soul are now centered at one point, the Almighty, the holder of his entire destiny.

Seriously, he surrendered, worshiped and bowed before the Almighty. Ask for mercy and forgiveness for everything he has done in his life so far. He begged, knowing that he had nothing, except for His love. Her crying again flowed in a shahdu atmosphere, somehow so delicious. Never had he felt the pleasure of worship like this in his life, when he was at his lowest point. He felt hurt, knocked down, fell down when watching his son, as well as when Ferdian had asked him to stay away, but he could feel the wisdom of all this. God's love is so great for him. He was too harsh to be given a gentle warning, so God gave this test to his much defiant self.

She recalls her husband's advice when Ramadan.

"God's father is already there, but we are too selfish and will not pick him up. Do we want to wait for God to give His most painful trials so that we can be conscious?”

Instantly his body churned, his heart was slapped several times feeling the pain all over his body. He shouted in his palm which muffled his voice. Why realize it now? Where has he been all this time? Even when Ferdian told him to start studying, being busy was always his classic excuse to dodge. Her husband did not protest and was still patient with her. His ego was too hard like a rock embedded millions of years within the layers of the earth. Therefore, God does not give a trivial test, so that he realizes with this hard trial he can dredge the sweetness of faith.

Ajeng took a stand, and continued to recite it with his soft, whispering voice. His eyes are getting red and swollen. He doesn't care. He wants God to forgive his sins. The crying and regret made his body tired so he slept on the prayer mat that morning.

\=\=\=\=\=

Ferdian walked gontai along the aisle of the hospital. His eyes were blank, while his mind was mingling between Arsene's anxiety and his guilt over what he had said to his wife. The man opened the door of his son's nursery slowly.

“Where to Ajeng?” asked her mother-in-law when she saw Ferdian coming alone with his disheveled face.

“I don't know, Ma!” answer's limp.

“Why? What happened?!” ask mama worried.

“You fought?!” guess mama.

Ferdian simply rubbed his face with his palm. He didn't want to answer that question. He started the quarrel this morning, asking his wife to stay away from him for a while.

“I'll take care of Arsene, Mama just rest!” he was sitting limp on the bench next to Arsene's bed.

Mama just sighed.

“You are adults. Mama believes you can solve this problem well. Don't take Arsene to your problems, the accident is God's destiny. This is a big test for both of you. Mama hope you can think wisely about it,” said mama advising her daughter-in-law.

“Mama will be home. Hope you guys get better. Arsene needs your support both of you. Don't let him suffer more. Suffice it to be sick because of the accident, and not because of you. Assalamu’alaikum.”

Ferdian answered his greetings with his heart. Her mother-in-law was right. Arsene's accident was a fate that God had outlined to him, even before the child was born into the world. Why was he busy blaming Ajeng, even though the word was never thrown from his mouth? True, he was angry and disappointed, but why did everything go to his wife? Shouldn't he be pointing at himself for abandoning his family?

Ferdian grabbed his own hair. Now he does not know where Ajeng is, whether the woman will come back here. He worries.
