The sleeping lights are out. The room felt quiet after the previous storm by the cries of the starving baby Ryu. Zaara broke down her tired body. While Arsene had just come to bring warm drinking water for himself. The man then lay down beside his wife.
“Abang, this Sunday can come to his wedding Om Kevin?” zaara asked that night before their eyes were completely shut. Ryu had already fallen asleep after Zaara managed to make his stomach full.
Hearing that question, Arsene tilted her body. He held his head in one of his hands, facing his wife.
“Oh, this Sunday huh?” ask Arsene. The young man did not remember much even though he had read the invitation.
“Iya.”
“Abi, umi, come?”
“Abi came his power. If umi does not know,” replied Zaara.
“Hmm..” Arsene muttered for a moment.
“Where?” Zaara waited for her husband's answer.
“Yes, I'm coming. You are here, don't come!” Arsene gave an answer that made Zaara's heart quite relieved.
Zaara's heart doesn't feel good. Although Kevin is his boss, Zaara loves his aunt, Orange. His heart felt sympathy, especially Jingga had been hospitalized again a few weeks before this. Fortunately, she was still in the recovery stage after giving birth, so not coming to her second marriage was her best decision at the moment.
“Makasih Abang Darling!”
“Yuk bobo!”

The atmosphere of the hall hall of the B building of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences Saturday was used by the year-end work evaluation meeting of LDK DKM Asy-Syifa, as well as being a great deliberation for the change of management that year. Several core managers and aides from the Brotherhood and akhwat were also present there. There are also the coaches, advisors, chairmen and general secretary of DKM Asy-Syifa, who are leaders at the top level, usually they are lecturers and activists who are no longer students at Bumi Pertiwi University.
The year-end evaluation meeting had finished in the first session of the day's meeting. The final report of accountability of the division heads in the LDK has been submitted to the administration of the mosque. The candidate for the new LDK chairman candidate has been very sounding from mouth to mouth. Even so, the leaders of DKM have decided so that the issue that develops is no longer an issue.
Arsene, Adit, and Angga, his best friend, sat at the front desk listening to the DKM chairman who was explaining the new LDK structure, although it was still the same as the organizational structure as last year. Ahmad, who that year served as Chairman of the LDK in the 5th and 6th semesters of his lectures, will give his handover to the new LDK chairman.
Ustadz Firmansyah, a PAI Lecturer from FIB who was the chairman of the DKM elected that year now instructed Ahmad Purnama to stand in front in front of his colleagues. Ahmad got ready and smiled at one of his companions sitting in front.
“Maybe this trust is quite heavy, considering our LDK chairman candidate this year has just got another incredible mandate. But I am sure, he can carry the mandate to be the head of the LDK at once. May this trust be his intercession in the Hereafter which will help him to heaven. Aamiins. Mango, welcome to Arsene Rezka to come forward to accompany his friend, Ahmad, who is already standing. Cloak with takbir, Allahu Akbar!”
Arsene took a deep breath as she got out of her seat. He tidied up the LDK jacket that had been attached to his body. Standing up then turned towards the fellows who had just cheered him up. He smiled at the friend beside him. Ahmad nudged his arm, giving him strength.
Yes, Arsene has been chosen to be the new head of the LDK. The results of the meeting of the DKM Asy-Syifa immediately decided it without any other stronger candidates. He was the sole candidate, all agreed to vote for him. At first Arsene was hesitant to accept this decision, considering he had just changed the status of being a father of his son. However, Reza, the in-law and also the coach of the DKM campus mosque, always strengthened him that Arsene could carry out the mandate for the next year. Arsene has four semesters left to complete his studies.
A colleague gave Ahmad the pride flag of DKM Asy-Syifa. Ahmad held the flag strong.
“DKM flag handover will be given by Ahmad to Arsene, as symbolic evidence we have a new LDK chairman,” said the moderator.
“Please to Kang Ahmad to hand over the DKM flag to Bang Arsene. Takbir!”
Ahmad handed the flag in his hand to Arsene. By saying bismillahirrahmaanirrahiim, Arsene received the flag while bearing the mandate to further advance the DKM Asy-Syifa LDK in the future.
All of their colleagues were determined to encourage the new LDK chairman. The two shook hands and the documentation committee captured the image as a memento.
“In tanzurullaha yansurkum!” ahmad told Arsene quoted from Surat Muhammad verse 7, which means ‘if you help the religion of Allah, He will help you.’.
“Aamiin Yes Rabb!”

The piano music flowed softly in the ballroom of one of the five-star hotels in Bandung. Guests, apparently from the upper class, attended the wedding of Kevin Nataprawira and Ghea Vallerie.
Arsene came with her parents that afternoon. He represents his wife who cannot attend. Her father-in-law, Reza, who is Kevin's former brother-in-law, will follow soon after.
“The party atmosphere is very much the same as Kevin's party as Orange first yes, Darling?!” said Ajeng as they entered the spacious and elegant ballroom.
“Hmm. It used to be not this fancy huh?” ask Ferdian
“Iya may be due to Orange request. Part of the concept was Islamic at that time.”
Arsene only heard his parents' conversation from behind.
Even the bride wore a dress with a wide chest opening that showed a tiered neck and smooth collarbone. Her red hair was tied to a white rose. His face was smiling radiantly, although his smile was strange in Arsene's eyes.
Arsene watched Kevin's wife closely from a distance. The woman was beautiful and had a slender body, but there was something strange about her somehow. There was an aura that looked different. Is it just his feelings? Arsene dismissed his thoughts and walked towards the stage.
“Thank you for coming, Ajeng, Ferdian!” kevin said with a small smile as Ajeng and Ferdian congratulated him.
Kevin's lips smiled, but his eyes were sad. Arsene can very clearly see it there.
“Who are they?” ask Kevin's wife to hold her husband's arm.
“Ajeng, this is my classmate on campus. It's Ferdian, her husband!” kevin answered to Ghea.
“Ooh...” Ghea smiled widely in front of Ajeng and Ferdian.
This time it was Arsene who congratulated him.
“Congratulations Om, may his marriage be blessed by God. Sorry Zaara can't come!”
“Thank you, Arsene. Sorry you haven't seen your baby yet. Congratulations on the birth of your child!” kevin stared at Arsene.
“Who is he?” Ghea couldn't stop asking.
“This is Arsene, Ajeng and Ferdian's son. His wife is my niece.”
“Ooh, nephew of Mbak Jingga!”
Kevin smiled slightly nodded.
Arsene pampit from there and immediately approached his father and mother to enjoy the dishes that were available.
“Two you didn't come, Cen?” ask Ajeng.
“Abi insya Allah come. Umi is still caring for Aunt Jingga.”
“Subhanallah. How sad I am!” sahut Ajeng's.
“That's their business. Importantly, hopefully Orange Tea can be cured soon. Kevin can also be happy with this marriage,” said Ferdian.
“Aamiin..”.
Arsene and his parents had already finished the menu they had taken. Suddenly Arsene's attention was on a sturdy man who walked from the entrance to the stage. That's Reza.
Her father-in-law was seen hugging Kevin's body and patting him gently on the back. They look emotional with jaws that are equally hardened. Even the look on Kevin's face can clearly show a sad and disappointed look at the same time. Kevin nodded as Reza said something. Perhaps the prayers and hopes of his former brother-in-law were expressed. Then Reza cupped his hands in front of Kevin's wife and walked away from them.
“Abi!” call Arsene when Reza steps past his desk.
Reza stopped his steps and looked over.
“Come to eat first?” ask Arsene.
“Abi go directly to grandma's house again, Bang!”
“Oh..”
“Sorry, I first yes?!” pamit Reza on Ajeng and Ferdian as well.
Arsene only looked at the departure of his father-in-law there. He greatly admired his father-in-law's magnanimous figure. He only hopes that the friendship between his extended family and Kevin can continue to wake up.
