My student's my future husband?

My student's my future husband?
Episode 132

That day the sun shone bashfully over the sky. Actually not shy, it's just that thin clouds are too excited to make the air of Bandung become cool and cold. It rained last night, making the green leaves of the sumringah greet the day. Asphalt looks darker and shiny because it is wet. Ferdian motorbike is traveling at medium speed through a road that is quite quiet under the thick trees.

Ajeng and Ferdian decided to take a walk on a big black motorcycle around the city of Bandung that day. Three days they were about to move to Singapore, so the two decided to enjoy the atmosphere of their beloved city. Ferdian changed his left rearview mirror position, pointing at his wife's face. He glimpsed occasionally his wife's face through the rearview. The woman was not aware that she was being watched secretly by her husband. His face was not covered in helmet glass, because Ajeng preferred if the wind greeted and touched his face, or he enjoyed the fresh air on this quiet street. Ferdian smiled silently, admiring the beauty of his wife who became even more beautiful after the hijab.

“You can be beautiful anyway?” asked Ferdian while glancing towards the rearview mirror.

“What?” tanya Ajeng did not really catch what her husband said.

“Gak so ah!” said it.

She knocked on her husband's helmet.

“If you have said that, continuein!” said Ajeng upset.

“I asked, how can you be beautiful?” said Ferdian, the volume of his tone he grew after the glass helmet he opened.

Instead of answering, Ajeng even blushed down.

“Honey, hear me?” ask Ferdian.

“If on the road of concentration, do not tease!” timpal Ajeng's.

Ferdian chuckled with one eye as his wife stared at the rearview mirror.

“Where are we going?” ask Ajeng, since Ferdian took him he did not know where to go.

“Memory of the past...” cried Ferdian.

Ajeng furrowed his brows. He doesn't understand the meaning. But the woman who is wearing a pink hijab today only understood after Ferdian brought her to Punclut area. In an industrial-style cafe they visited three years ago on their first date as a potential husband and wife.

“Oh... so remember the past is it?”

Ferdian smiled broadly.

“Yuk!”

Ferdian pulled his wife's hand towards the cafe, tightly clasped. Then they chose a table under a lush tree, the same place they had that conversation. Men always remember their best moments with their lecturers at that time.

“Formally right yes?” said Ajeng staring into the lush trees that shade their tables.

“I always remember every moment with you, Princess (I always remember every time with you, Princess)!” said it.

Ajeng smiled blushing.

“Thankfully the cafe is still there! Don't you think the menu that you want to order is the same again?” sedeng Goda.

“Haha, no! It's up to you, Princess!” answer Ferdian.

Both of them are choosing the menu of dishes ordered. At once it spins a song that is very comfortable to hear.

You and I have become one

In the trust oooh bond

My dorm seed, your seed

Growing up perfect ooowh

You made me myself

I'm more sure to you you're kamuuu

You are the most beautiful

Which makes my heart calm

Loving you will never be afraid

Because you accepted my little wolf

(You Are - Isyana ft. Rayi Putra)

The song made Ferdian tap his finger on the table. So also with Ajeng who made his lips follow the lyrics of the song, because he is one of the fans of Isyana song. The woman sang the song in front of her husband, with all the feelings in her heart. The song really represents her feelings all along to Ferdian, who used to be her student.

“You sang that song for me?” asked Ferdian who was smiling.

“I love it, and I love you!”

Ajeng's face red blushed hearing the statement of love umpteenth time from her husband. For some reason, when her husband said the word love her heart always felt pounding, even like the first time in love.

“You're funny, I used to have a red face. Now your face is red,” said Ferdian giggling.

“And you are so good at making me groggy!” say Ajeng.

“You were better at making me klepek-klepek same you at that time. How can?”

“Entah, I really liked your usilin at that time. Moreover, fitting your face red so, the more you want jahilin aja you guys,” replied Ajeng laughing.

“Hmm... basic ignorant lecturer!” said Ferdian poking his wife's nose.

Ajeng smiled, his mind flying into his beautiful past, making the flowers in his heart now bloom again like in a flower garden.

Ferdian's motorbike drove back after the two lovebirds enjoyed their lunch. The embrace of Ajeng in Ferdian's body was so tight, making the man who was passing his gas smile on his own. Sometimes he stroked his wife's hand in her stomach. Make Ajeng smile in turn.

The light rain fell suddenly, which was initially soft, and now it was getting heavier. Ferdian pulled his bike over at a quiet unused bus stop. There was no one there, because the streets were deserted. The man forgot to bring his raincoat. Forced, shelter until the rain stops is a good decision for now.

Both are seated in an available chair. Scribble spray paint is irresponsible hands into the decoration there. But they do not care about it, the rain that falls is more of a concern.

“You're right, rain is romantic. I agree with you and also William Wordsworth,” Ferdian said suddenly while looking at the rain in front of his eyes.

Ajeng looked beside him.

“Why suddenly?” tanya Ajeng did not understand.

“Because every time I see rain, I always miss you,” said Ferdian who now turned to his woman and clasped his hand.

“While in America, there was only a strong wind, making my heart dry and empty. But after the rain falls, my heart always falls for you. But miss it makes me tormented, because I can not touch you,” he said again made Ajeng stunned.

“I'm grateful the distance that separates us, finally makes us united again. Although some must be paid dearly. But, it was worth what happened today. Do you regret it?” asked Ferdian staring intently.

A look back at Ferdian's glittering eyes.

“There is always wisdom in the events we experience. I am also grateful that God is still on that path, so that I feel more loved by anyone present in my life, especially you!” say Ajeng.

Ferdian stroked his cheek gently. If only they were not on the side of the highway, the man might have softly kissed his wife's lips. He could only smile at Ajeng's reply.

Rain drops fall gently on the asphalt. The puddles reflected a little bit of the sky that afternoon. But the rain made it vibrate, until the reflection of the color of the sky looks biased.

“Udah off, let's go home!” bring Ferdian.

“In a minute, please! I love this moment that we might never be able to repeat again. I love this city, even though it's not as cool now. But today feels different.” said Ajeng embracing her husband's waist.

Ferdian smiled, his hand stroking his wife's head covered in hijab.

“You don't want to go to campus?” ask Ferdian. Because the campus must have stored millions of other beautiful memories.

Ajeng looked at her husband, the sparkle of her eyes implying her approval. Ferdian pulled his wife's arm, then they got back on the bike and went to the college that raised their name.

It didn't take long to get to that pretty big campus. Ferdian reduced the gas rate. They circled the courtyard of the rectorate building, then down the wet asphalt road to the Faculty of Cultural Sciences building, where Ferdian parked his motorbike. The atmosphere of the campus looks lonely, because students are still on vacation at the end of this school year. There were only a few students walking in the corridor of the building. The two sat in a park surrounded by three buildings, building B, C, and a library..

Somehow Ajeng's heart felt touched to see the campus he loved. The aura and atmosphere of the lecture hall were so fixed in his memories and heart, as if his soul remained alive there. A shadow of him walking along the corridor filled his mind, where he often threw a smile to the students or staff who met him. He always felt that his best days were on this campus. His charms are emblazoned with his image as a smart lecturer and beautiful, a favorite of all students.

The woman closed her eyes, while the man beside her looked while holding her hand.

“My best day is here. But I have decided, that I will get another best day with you and Arsene now,”, he said, whose net was filled with stagnant water.

“You have always been one of the best lecturers on this campus, and it will never be forgotten by the students you have taught, especially me, because I'm a student who always admires your passion and energy.”

Ajeng scattered himself in the arms of his lover, he could no longer withstand the turmoil of his emotions. His ideals have been planted on this campus, and it will never be uprooted. Now he hangs his ideals elsewhere, and hopes to take him to the eternal high.
