My student's my future husband?

My student's my future husband?
(S2) Ep 33. Opening Review

The atmosphere of the Asy-Syifa Mosque located in the front area of the Bumi Pertiwi University campus complex is quite crowded this afternoon after the ashar adhan. The students have just completed their inaugural lecture this week, and those interested in joining the campus da'wah organization will attend the inaugural study as well as the welcoming of new members.

Although the atmosphere of the mosque is crowded, because many academic community who perform ashar prayers there. It's just that, the participants of the new members of LDK do not look too crowded. Organizers used the room on the second floor of the mosque as a place to welcome their new members, both male and female. Hijab or cloth guardrail has been enforced there, becoming a barrier between female members and men so as not to steal one another's eyes or interact.

Arsene sat cross-legged on a soft red carpet that felt clean. He joined dozens of other freshmen to attend the afternoon's event. A bespectacled student, whom he had met a few days ago, was seen leading the event that had now begun. He introduced himself as Ilman, Chairman of the DKM Asy-Syifa LDK. The man gave his remarks to the new members that he hoped could further enliven the campus mosque and make his best contribution in da'wah.

Before long, a mature adult man came forward, after Ilman invited him. Arsene was so surprised to find Abu Zaara, aka Om Reza standing in front and sitting together with Ilman. The man introduced himself as a devoted activist of the LDK, or an activist who had long been out but was still active and contributed to the development of da'wah on campus. Arsene understood why Om Reza was there, and it even seemed that their views met for a moment when he was about to convey his material.

“Life is an option. Why did I open this material with that short sentence? Because I see, fellow students here have chosen and decided to be at the event Insha Allah will open up the lives of friends to a bright future.” Ustadz Reza began delivering his Islamic material that afternoon.

“Choosing means being prepared with consequences, whatever they may be. Friends here why choose to join the LDK? Anyone want an answer? Later there will be doorprize from the committee,” he said crisp, so that the new students are not too tense listening to this Islamic material.

A male student sitting in front raised his hand.

“What's the name?” ask Ustadz Reza.

“I Asep, student of Faculty of Agriculture.”

“What made Antum decide to join LDK?” tanya Ustadz Reza repeated the previous question.

“I want to study Islam and add my piety to God's side,” he replied confidently.

“Alhamdulillah, the answer is great. May istiqomah yes?!”

“Aamiin!”

“Well we continue. Earlier if we heard the answer of Dik Asep, he wanted to study Islam and add piety to the side of God. Are there any consequences to what he decides? Sure exists. Whatisit? For example, Dik Asep so diligent to the mosque to pursue all the activities that are here. Follow tahsin, Arabic, Islamic mentoring, muroja’ah and other agendas, in order to get the reward and ridho of Allah. Tired not about, especially after college, lecturers do a lot of tasks? Surely tired. Well that is a consequence, something we will accept from what we have decided. But there are other consequences, namely the reward of Allah.”

Just this time Arsene listened to the material explanation of his ashes Zaara, it turns out he is very young, his delivery style is like still a student, and also warm. He enjoyed it so much. Moreover, the material message he conveyed was very suitable with what he needed.

“Try another example of a life sentence is a choice. Try it!” Ustadz Reza turned to the female participants.

A man raised his hand.

“What's the name?” asked Ustadz Reza, he was seen smiling at people who could not be seen by the brothers because of the high hijab.

“Zaara from the Faculty of Cultural Sciences,” his answer made Arsene surprised. Zaara was also here.

“Mango, Neng!”

“If you choose something because there is a covert intention what are the consequences?” Zaara asked.

“Eh, dikirain tea would like to give an example, instead ask when the discussion has not been opened yes?” reza chuckled at his son's question.

Zaara blushed. He forgot that the question and answer discussion forum had not been opened.

“Yes, giggly huh?! A hadith narrated by Imam Bukhari and Muslim, Rasulullah saw. bersabda “Innamal a’malu binniyati’. Charity depends on his intentions, and a person only gets according to his intentions. And whosoever hijrahs Allah and His Messenger, then his hijrah to Allah and His Messenger, and whosoever disgraces him because of the world or because of the woman he wishes to marry, then the hijrah is according to where he hijrah.”

“So what he does will return again to the origin of his intentions. The result will be in accordance with what he intended. If we come here just because there is a scene or because there is something that is not because of God. His head may evaporate if his intention is not because of Allah. So that's the consequence. Fatigued yes, lost reward could be. Want the charity in vain?”

“Now!” answer the participants in unison.

“Therefore, comrades here try to make his intentions should be straight. Your choice is right, join LDK DKM Asy-Syifa. Only his intention was re-settled, what are we joining here for? Ask about conscience. If you join here because you want to gain useful knowledge, a friend who shalih-shaliha, and a ridho from Allah swt. insha Allah, the arrival of friends here will not be in vain. Again, every decision we make will have different consequences. It only comes back to intention, if it is because of Allah then the consequences will of course be a reward from Allah. Wanna get a reward from Allah?”

“Mauuu!”

“Hopefully the friends here have all straightened out the intention yes, so that when carrying out all the activities that are here will feel light, because everything will be reciprocated by God. Just like that maybe an introduction to the study from me.”

Arsene was stunned by all the explanations presented by Ustadz Reza. The question from Zaara certainly struck him. Although he is grateful, that his arrival to this assembly is not for what or who, his intention is indeed to learn to deepen religion, which means to achieve the pleasure of God.

A discussion forum for new members has opened. They can ask questions to the speaker who is in front to treat the thirst that is in their minds.

Arsene held out his hand. A male organizer gave him a microphone. Reza looked a little smile at him.

"Please, state the name and origin of the faculty" cried Ilman.

"Assalamu'alaikum Tadz, I am Arsene from the Faculty of Cultural Sciences. Want to ask, if someone already has a vision and mission and a strong commitment in his life, according to Ustadz, is everything he has planned must be executed?" ask Arsene.

Reza took his microphone. Then start talking.

"Every human being is provided with potential by Allah SWT. Where from the potential, humans can do everything they want, including making a life plan for the future. Man can strive with all his might with all his abilities. He could also pray while shedding tears of blood asking that God grant his wish. But there must be something to remember, do not forget, that God has given all the ordinances and wills for every human soul. So, man can map his vision and mission of life, very organized even. He can also try and pray as much as possible. Just give it back to God. Tawakal. We give everything after a prayer and effort, giving all the results to God. It must also be remembered that what comes from God is the best, whether we like it or not. So man may plan, but the best plan belongs to God. So if Dik Arsene has a dream, even has been designed very well, there is no harm in trying to make it happen one by one. It's just a random attitude that must be put forward after that. Be thankful when God grants our request, be patient if God has not willed. Remember with this verse, Ar-Rad verse 11, which means, 'Surely Allah will not change the state of a people, before the people themselves change what is in them …,' that is why God tells us to make the changes we seek ourselves. From this we can understand, that to be better, then there must be an effort that must be done first. That's about a little explanation for Dik Arsene's question."

Arsene nodded and thanked him. From here he understood that the plan and vision of the mission he had written was right and he would try to make it happen one by one. It's just that there's still a lot to re-imagine, including himself.

The sky was dark and gray. The Maghrib Adhan has been reverberating after the opening review for the recruitment of LDK members was completed.

The new students have formed a small group, for more intensive Islamic mentoring. They come from various faculties, so that the friendship is increasingly diverse and widespread. They have also chosen a department for the activeness of their activities in the future. Arsene has chosen a propaganda department, a mobile division and activities to further direct Islamic opinion both in the mosque area and outside the mosque. He felt that this division was attached to his soul, hoping that it would grow into another potential.

The night is getting darker. The young man had not left the carpet because he was too busy talking with his new friends new members or with seniors. They discuss many things including issues that occur in the community. Arsene did not expect this discussion to make him more interested, until his phone vibrated in his pants pocket.

"Why, Mom?" he asked when he knew it was a call from his mother.

"What time do you go home?" tanyanya.

"Ah yes this soon yes, nanggung want to pray isya congregation first," he replied.

"Yes, be careful on the road, sweetheart. Don't be so late!"

"Ready, Mom!"

Arsene hung up his phone and put it back in his pocket. A voice called out his name from behind.

"Omm? Uh, Tadz!" the reply was awkward when Reza called his name. He was even confused to call what was the right greeting for the man in front of him, although in fact he was comfortable and accustomed to using the word Om.

"Not home yet?"

"Not Om, uh Tadz!"

"Call as you normally would, Sen!" Reza smiled patting the young man's shoulder

"May you be at home in this organization. There will be a lot of things you can learn here. Including your perspective on life. Om's been feeling it, ever since I first set foot in this mosque." Reza sat himself on the carpet, as if to invite Arsene to discuss.

Arsene sat beside him, staring at the courtyard of the mosque which was starting to be quiet because many students had returned to their respective homes. There were only a few motorcycles parked there.

"Om wants to ask a lot of things about you, just maybe we're limited time tonight. But there are a few things that are nagging that Om will probably ask you first." Reza looked at the young man beside her who looked nervous.

"Ask what Om?"
