Chapters 13. Biana's Allegations

Eiger got into his car after getting a word of agreement with the mob boss. While David continued to nag Blerim when he got into the car.

"Son, you're doing me a great deal of harm. What if I get shot?"

Blerim glanced at his sister for a moment. It's early morning, it feels like Blerim is reluctant to fight. However, one word that was able to make David open his eyes wide.

"I came to the mafia lair to get information about Elov. In a few days Willard's succession will be announced. If Elov isn't found, don't blame me for choosing Eiger as his successor."

The explanation is very clear. There is no chance of Elov returning to his family. However, why did his brother instead give Elov to the mafia? Balthis should have protected his son.

Arriving at the mansion in the morning, it turns out Balthis has not closed his eyes. He waited for Eiger to come home with news of his two younger siblings. Hearing the sound of the car coming in, Balthis went out into the courtyard. It turns out that she is not alone, but is followed by Jean.

"What's wrong?" ask Jean.

Not yet arrived at the front door of the living room, Eiger entered with the two people he was waiting for from afternoon.

"Blerim! David! Eiger!" Balthis's scream echoed. To be honest Balthis was shocked when he found out that the three people had injuries. "Servant! Hurry up and help us!"

Early in the morning, when all the servants were enjoying their rest. They had to get up when they found the screams of the owner of the mansion.

"What's up, Mister?" ask the senior waiter.

Of those three, the most battered was David. He just kept fighting back when the mob hit him. As a man of age, David was not as agile as his older brother, Blerim. Even though he is no longer young, his picnic style deserves a thumbs up. He is also a man who can resist emotions.

The servants were very deftly treating their respective masters. However, David continued to curse because of his frustration with his brother.

"This is because of all of you, brother!" david protest.

"You why?" ask Jean.

"I'm battered, brother. Do you know whose fault this is?" ask David.

Jean was closest to David. Both of them like having chemistry as brother and sister-in-law.

"Body?" ask Jean.

"No!" answer David.

Blerim and Eiger both felt the pain of the wound, but both of them had glanced at each other because they heard David's words.

"That's because of Balthis. Just try if he has nothing to do with the mafia. I won't be as battered as I am now. This is so outrageous!" David did not blame Blerim, but Balthis.

Hearing the name of the mafia called, Balthis could no longer bear it. Actually wanted to directly talk to Blerim, but in front of many people it was uncomfortable.

"Sister, today come to the office alone. Me and David are going to rest at the mansion. I'm very tired and want to sleep all day" Blerim explained.

Early in the morning, they just returned home in battered condition. Blerim won't force himself to work today. And so did David. Eiger has a different plan.

"I'll come with you, Pa" said Eiger.

"no need. You better stay home. Take care of your two uncles. Make sure they're okay." Balthis had a special reason for letting his sister be in the mansion.

In the morning, Balthis was ready in front of his wife's dresser. He already looks neat with a suit and other work supplies such as a bracelet clock, BW letter-shaped suit pin.

"Honey, come here!"

"Hemm, what's wrong?" ask Balthis.

"This is where I fix the tie."

Jean very deftly tidied all the clothes of her husband that look less fitting in his eyes. After looking neat, Jean turned her husband's body to face the mirror.

"Well, look at my husband's looks. It's neat, right?"

Just as Balthis was about to get out of his room, Jean prevented him from coming out. There's something I want to talk about.

"Wait, Honey!"

"Otherwise, Jean?"

"Darling, I'm still thinking of our son. Will Elov be found or not? Just a few days away, Blerim will be pointing at the Eiger."

Balthis gave a brief peck on his wife's forehead. "Don't worry. Elov must have been found."

Balthis exited the room to the parking lot. Eiger is invisible. The servant said, everyone is still asleep in their own rooms.

"Goodoo. Don't wake them up. Oh yeah, tell Blerim to call me when he wakes up."

"Good, Sir."

Today for the first time Balthis came to the office alone. He was actually still thinking of his two younger siblings who could be battered like that. Blerim and David did not want to tell a story because of their condition whose good looks were reduced by 50 percent.

A beautiful smile accompanied Balthis' footsteps towards his room. Apparently a staffer told me that someone was looking for him.

"Sir, there are guests waiting in the waiting room" the staff said.

Balthis was thinking for a moment. Tumben once early in the morning he had a guest. He has no appointments with anyone today.

"Master, I was sorry earlier. There were some business relations who suddenly came to see Mr. Blerim. However, it seems like he didn't come today."

So many guests came today. However, Balthis tried to remain calm. He cannot ignore them one by one. Must be found in order of arrival.

"Yes, Blerim is starting today and the next few days will not be going to the office. Same with David and Eiger."

"You? Why is it here? Eiger's not in the office."

Arriving inside, Balthis invited Biana to sit in front of his desk. It could have let the girl sit on the sofa, but Balthis remembered her guest who was in line.

"Sit down! Tumben once you come. What's the real need?"

Without further ado, Biana immediately expressed her intention and purpose in coming here. Nothing else is to confirm the truth about the Eiger.

"Is what Eiger said true, Uncle? He's not Uncle's son. Are you trying to trick me?"

Balthis. He thought that Biana already understood what was happening. However, why would he even accuse Balthis of deceiving? What advantage did Balthis get to deceive the girl?
