Chapter 31. Last Option

Looking away from the surface of the lake water is an entertainment for the Eiger. Yes, he agreed to follow Blerim's request to pick up Zoe. He'll give the girl a job. I don't know, what did the girl respond to him?

The girl intends to get out of the car, but Eiger accidentally locks her. Eiger knew it would be like this eventually.

"Hey, unlock it! Don't you lock me up in your car. You weird guy!"

Zoe rebelled again.

"Hey, listen to me! The job I'm offering you is not a bad job, Zoe. I'll give you the wages you asked for."

Zoe stopped rebelling, but she looked one eye at the offer Eiger had given her.

"Not a bad job, but it's weird! I don't want to. Whatever the reason, I don't want to accept it. Get me out of this car!"

"Waith! Listen to me! I need your help and you need money, right? We can be mutually beneficial."

Zoe kept shaking. He refused even though Eiger insisted. He doesn't understand the man's mind? Could it be because it does not have a partner so it uses this way?

"No yes no. Just find another woman" Zoe suggested.

"I don't trust other women. I just believe in you. Listen to me!"

Eiger explains his reasons for offering this job. He also broke up with his girlfriend. Never going back into a relationship causes Eiger to look for other options.

"No. You're selfish! It's called public lying. If they find out who I am, it could be reported to the police. That's terrible!"

"No. I'll guarantee everything. Not just me, but my uncle. This is also on his advice. The guy who drove you to the bus stop the other day. Well, he's the one."

Zoe refused until Eiger gave her the final solution.

Eiger then unlocks the car door with a single tap. Yeah, a rich guy's car is automatic.

Zoe was doubtful. He wanted to get off without a business card and money put on the dashboard, but his instincts said otherwise. He needs the money and the job.

"This I took. If I change my mind, I'll let you know. Money too."

"Yes, just take it. So or not, the money will still be yours. Um, one more—"

"What else?" Zoe cuts off the Eiger's speech.

"Your time is no more than 3 days to decide."

"Yes, yeah! I'm home."

Zoe got out of the car and walked away. Eiger has not calmed down if Zoe has not given any decision yet. Will he use the final solution to return to Biana?

Eiger. "No! Biana is not the solution. He's a new problem for me."

Eiger decides to return to the mansion. Get there by night. He did not go straight to his room, but instead met Blerim first.

"Where from?" david asked as he passed Eiger in the living room.

"Friends' house. Why?"

"Remember, don't be arrogant! You won't be able to get all of Willard's family possessions" David said.

"I don't intend to have it all, Uncle. If I wanted to, I wouldn't have asked for a 25 percent stake either. However, I'll ask for three quarters of 100 percent."

"You!"

For Eiger, arguing with David is as annoying as Balthis. Both are always imposing their will. Rather than continuing until the storm, the Eiger avoided it. He decided to go to Blerim's room.

Actually David yelled at him not to go first, but Eiger was already lazy. Arriving at Blerim's doorstep, Eiger knocks on him and enters.

"Uncle," said Eiger.

"Just home?"

"Yes." Yeah." Eiger sits languidly on his uncle's couch.

"Why drown so? Dinner's still an hour away."

"It's not about that, Uncle. I've already met Zoe. I've said everything. I hope he comes at the right time."

"Uncle is like that too. But, you don't worry. He's coming."

Eiger sometimes doesn't understand Blerim's way of thinking. When his mind was in turmoil, the man always calmed down. Even if the ending doesn't know what it's going to be like.

"The worst chance is if he doesn't come. What am I gonna do?"

"Find another option."

Blerim said such a thing. It felt like wanting to go back to the boarding house, then sleep all day without bearing this burden.

"Do I have to go back to Biana?"

This ridiculous uncontrolled question just passed from the mouth of the Eiger. From the bottom of his heart, Eiger still loved him. But, remembering his purpose is only for treasure, not love. Making the Eiger have to let go.

"That's up to you. If you don't get a choice, it could be the last option. Remember, you have to play beautiful and neat! What we're dealing with is a family that I don't know, I don't know."

Blerim himself is a member of the Willard family, but he has a different path from his family.
