Chapter 57. Trouble Barrier

Jean's anxiety was evident when she was in front of the doctor who was handling her son Elov's DNA test. The man in white had also explained if the DNA test process was through the authorities. Moreover, this problem has to do with a major crime.

"Look, Madam and Mister. We did this test through several stages. Police suggested taking some bone samples of the bodies. And, we found out that one of those tombs is the boy you've been looking for all this time."

Jean immediately limp in to listen to the doctor's words. Really, this is not his dream or his dream. His desire just to meet Elov was huge. If it's like this, even fools know that Elov is gone.

"This is the test result, sir." The doctor handed him an envelope that showed the results matched.

Jean's getting weaker. He felt he had no power whatsoever. Especially after reading the envelope.

"Does that mean our future is ruined?" ask Jean lirih. Even if you have children, it is no longer possible. The only way is to keep the Eiger by his side.

"Thank you, doctor. Where can I visit this funeral? I mean, where's the tomb whose samples match the results of this DNA test?" ask Balthis.

"The police will show you where it is, sir. They've been waiting for you outside" concluded the doctor.

Not only Jean, Balthis was even more trembling in the face of this kind of situation. Outside the room, several uniformed policemen were waiting for him.

"Mr Balthis, come with us!" said one of the police officers.

They got into the car the police used. They were headed to a cemetery not far from the hospital.

Get out of the car, the atmosphere is getting gripping. Jean felt a very quiet and lonely funeral. They followed the policemen to the tomb, which had only written, but was badly preserved.

Jean's heart ached. When none of her children had ever found happiness. Looks like Elov was so hurt from childhood that he died.

"I'm sorry Mama, Elov" he said softly. Suddenly his tears flowed.

Balthis bowed before the tomb of his son who did not have that name. His memories twisted the dark past. If time could be repeated, Balthis did not want to give Elov to the man. If it ends up being like this.

"Elov, Papa also apologized" said Balthis who was still bowed.

Balthis still had another curiosity. He wants to know what really happened. Starting from small Elov to grow into a teenager and ending up in a quiet place like this.

"Sir, how do I get information about the last condition of the man buried here?" ask Balthis.

"Please come to the police station, sir. The full news of the event is stored there," said one of the police.

"Good, Sir. After we visit this tomb, we will come there soon" Balthis concluded.

Both men focused on the empty tomb. His intention of being here for some time, made Jean change her mind. He wanted to add to his schedule of visits so that he could come to the funeral every day. Not only that, Jean intended to bring some fresh flowers to be sown in the tomb.

Being in a different country, Eiger is continuing to pursue where David took Bianca away. Apparently the middle-aged man took Bianca to a luxury hotel in his city.

"It's crazy! Uncle David took Bianca to the hotel. What are they gonna do?"

Eiger slowly follows the man to avoid being discovered. David's car entered the hotel entrance area and then a valet parking took the car to be parked in the hotel basement. Not only did Eiger follow the same as David did.

As far as the eye could see, there was no suspicion that stood out. Everything still seems ordinary until Eiger is able to eavesdrop on the conversation between David and Bianca.

"Of course, Bianca. As long as you want to sign a deal together," David said as he waited for the President Suite room hotel check-in process.

"Sure, Dave. Whatever you ask, I'll agree. But please protect me from the anger of the Eiger. I set up my own sister" he said softly. Dave is the affectionate call agreed upon between Bianca and David.

This is so crazy. Eiger was wrong. All of these causes are Bianca herself. But why would he do such a thing? Didn't Eiger never have any business with him? Especially Zoe who does not know Bianca at all.

Luckily the Eiger did that very quickly. He cannot lose his best moment. He had time to record the conversation to release Biana.

Eiger did not directly confront him. Better to go back to meet Zoe. That girl has the right to continue this business or let go.

Arriving at the apartment Zoe lives in, Eiger presses the bell. Before opening the door, Zoe looked at the door viewer. Zoe was surprised to find that Eiger was back.

"Eiger?" zoe said after opening the door.

"Can I come in?"

"of course. Come on!"

Zoe closed the door again. He saw the strange face of Eiger. There was a strange feeling that was very painful. Especially when both are like this. Zoe has to control herself.

"Sit, Eiger! Although this is not my apartment, I always try to appreciate the guests who come. I'll get you a drink first, yeah!"

Zoe intends to go into the kitchen to get some water, but Eiger holds her back.

"No need to bother. Let's just talk. There's something important I want to tell you."

Zoe was not far from the Eiger. He was ready to listen to whatever was being told to him.

"I'm not a man who lets evil grow just like that, but I'm sure that you'll be just like me. Worry!"

Zoe shined a sharp look on the Eiger's face. It was a bit strange to hear the man.

"Say everything. I'll listen and try to think positively."

This is what Zoe likes. The girl always responded to anything unhurriedly. He is able to respond to problems in his own way.

Eiger finally tells about the chronology of events that prove Biana's innocence. He also submitted a video of the conversation between David and Bianca. It was clear that Biana was not the culprit.

"So, the real culprit is Bianca?"

Eiger nodded.

"Why did he do that to me? I don't even know him."

"That's what I'm investigating, Zoe. If my uncle asks you to let Bianca go, how? I think the middle-aged man's love will hinder this matter."

For a moment Zoe thought. Crime still has to be avenged, but David's problem will be the obstacle to punishment, Zoe must think hard.
