Chapter 41. Hope

After Biana's departure, Zoe feels guilty for seizing the man the girl loves.

"Eiger, shouldn't we just end it?"

"No. That's business. To do whatever he pleases. We better enjoy dinner first. We will continue speaking at the hotel" Eiger said.

Biana's mistake was fatal. She always tries to get close to herself to becoming the woman she still loves. Although there was actually a little bit of pity on the girl.

After dinner, Eiger decides to drive Zoe back to the hotel. When I reached the parking lot, out of nowhere. Someone intentionally surprised him. Like a coincidence, the man suddenly pulled Zoe back and threatened her with a gun.

"Take the girl off!" snapped Eiger.

"Ck, that's never gonna happen. This girl must die at my hands!" threaten the man.

"Eiger, help me!" Zoe's voice sounded very frightened.

Eiger had no choice but to move forward. He beat up the man when he looked off guard. Zoe managed to escape and then got into the car.

Eiger. Sometimes he swings his legs to kick his opponent to fall on the floor made of andesite stone. The man tried to get up by relying on his gun that had been thrown some distance away.

He pressed the trigger until the bullet went towards the Eiger. Fresh blood oozed from the Eiger's arm, which made Zoe hysterical. The man then ran away somewhere.

"Eiger!"

Feeling safe, Zoe went down to see the injured Eiger. The pain from the shot made his body hot.

"Eiger, are you okay? What am I supposed to do now?"

"Take me to the hospital!"

How could Zoe drive an Eiger. He could only take a taxi to get to the hospital.

"I'll tell Uncle Blerim."

"Don't! I'll be fine. Don't make that man worry."

Zoe salute to Eiger. That guy is very strong. In fact, he was the one who helped Zoe from the bad guy.

Eiger is now in hospital with serious treatment for a gunshot wound. Luckily the bullet only hit his arm. If it reaches the other limb, it can be ascertained that the Eiger is not safe.

"Either, how much stock is your life, sir?" praise one of the doctors who are handling it. "You are so strong."

Eiger smiled. Indeed, he felt pain when he had a shot, but after that it was as if his body and life were separated.

"Maybe God still wants me to live, doctor. I don't know, until when?"

The doctor smiled too. He realized that this man in front of him was very kind. Especially the woman who drove him here.

"You're lucky to have such a large stock of lives and to have a partner who worries about you so much, sir."

In everyone's eyes, Zoe looks perfect in terms of both physical and attitude. However, would the girl be willing if Eiger had more feelings for her? The plan is for Eiger to negotiate with Blerim about this relationship.

When it was over, Zoe forced Eiger to return straight to the mansion. Eiger can't bear to let Zoe back into the hotel, forcing the girl to stay at her mansion.

"This time stay here for the night. You are not safe outside" said Eiger in front of the entrance to his mansion.

"I'm not comfortable, Eiger. There will be a lot of people here."

"You my beloved, everyone will respect you as much as I do. Don'worry. Uncle Blerim would agree."

Entering the living room is so spacious, seen a picture of the Eiger family complete with his family. It was clear that the photo had been in place for a long time.

"Sir, what's with your hands?" ask one of the servants.

"It was just a minor accident" he answered.

Being in a critical condition he was able to save his suffering. Zoe is getting interested in the guy. Not only physically, but also his heart.

It's natural because it's late at night. That's why Eiger asked Zoe to stay overnight in this mansion.

"No need to explain. Uncle must have known!"

Zoe was surprised, but not with Blerim. His men have already said that the Eiger was attacked. The man was then taken to the hospital. It was always under Blerim's supervision.

"Hem."

"According to Uncle, who?"

"Servant! Please take Miss Zoe to the guest room" Blerim ordered.

The servant also complied. Zoe left the living room heading to the guest room. Blerim and Eiger continue the conversation.

"There are only two possibilities, Eiger."

"Who?"

"Biana's man or your father."

"Why did Uncle directly accuse him? I mean, is it possible for papa to do that?"

"I'm sorry about what my brother is going to do. He left this place to find Elov. And, he won't let you live quietly. Believe me!"

Eiger rewinds her body to lean on the sofa. He closed his eyes for a moment. Trying to read Blerim's words. Eiger must figure out how to protect herself and her loved ones.

"You don't worry, Eiger! My brother won't be able to kill you directly."

Eiger opened his eyes. Somewhat surprised to hear Blerim's words that made him horrified.

"What does Uncle mean?"

"My brother doesn't want you to play a role in the company. Moreover, his greatest hope remained centered on Elov."

Blerim readers of good situations. A lot of what Blerim taught the Eiger.

"Hemm, great!"

Being in an unfamiliar, but calming room made Balthis feel annoyed. The order placed on David had failed. Balthis slammed the laptop into the bed.

"You look upset, honey."

"David failed. The boy's alive."

Jean calmed her husband's heart. Only tomorrow will the answer about Elov be answered already.

"Don't give your hand to end his life. It could be that the boy will be useful later on."

Balthis turned to his wife. The woman must know that the Eiger is a threat to her son as well as the survival of the company.

"Come, Jean. I don't like it!"

There is still a lot of important work to be done. Balthis shut down his laptop. He looked far ahead to think about tomorrow.

"We find Elov, then go home!" balthis said with a sense of despair. She hesitated to find her son.

Jean looked at her husband. When she was sure that Elov would return, there was doubt on her husband's face. However, when Jean wants to be sure. She was afraid that her husband would be offended.

Jean took a cup of coffee at her desk. The smell of coffee is still hot. It calms for a moment. He hopes tomorrow is the answer to all his hopes.
