Chapter 35. Do Not Fail

There was a commotion in front of the ballroom entrance. A girl is forbidden to enter because she has no invitation. The girl had already explained that she was Eiger's lover who was Blerim Willard's nephew. They still don't believe.

"That's not authentic evidence, miss! If you really want to go in and make a mess inside, better think about your plan."

It's insane! He asked for good and was accused of being unkind. Strange town folk according to Zoe.

"Okay, if you don't believe me. If the Eiger master or the Blerim lord comes, you're done!" threaten Zoe with annoyance. He was tired of having to stand using his high heels.

"What's this?" ask Eiger. He had just come over for being detained by Balthis with his letter of agreement. Lucky Blerim came at the right time.

"Darling, I wanted to go in, but they banned me, she said, not part of the show. Besides, they accused me of rioting inside." Zoe complained about the behavior of all the guards on the Eiger.

"Sorry everyone. She was my lover. Again sorry for making you uncomfortable."

Those guards of course felt alien to Zoe's presence. As short as they knew, the woman who became his lover was already in the ballroom with her parents.

"We're sorry, sir. We misunderstood. We thought if—"

"Not really. Is this how it feels to be rich?" whispered Zoe. He didn't want anyone to suspect him.

Well, Eiger's life is very interesting. From some of his stories, the man was never happy when he knew the truth. That's what made Zoe so sorry for him.

It seems that Zoe's presence with the Eiger makes a special attraction for Biana. The girl came with her daddy.

"Eiger?" Biana called out the name of her ex-boyfriend.

"Hi, how are you?" ask Eiger.

Eiger and Zoe were so close. Besides, the girl's hand was being linked to the man next to her.

"Who is he?" ask Biana. His curiosity is higher than anything else.

Zoe releases her hand intending to shake the girl's hand in front of her, but is blocked by the Eiger.

"Oh, she's my sweetheart. His name is Zoe."

Hearing Eiger call her lover is unacceptable Biana's common sense. Moreover, he heard the news that young master Willard had found a partner. After the coronation, the Eiger will be engaged. Really, really lucky that girl.

"Hi, I'm Zoe." Zoe greeted me very kindly. He did not know who the girl in front of him was.

"Eiger! I miss you" said Biana Lirih. He realized that Eiger refused.

"Preferably keep that miss of yours. I don't need a woman who pretends to be like that. Haven't you decided on me, too?"

Regrets always come too late. This can't be allowed. If Biana can't get the Eiger, then not with the girl. Yeah, Zoe can't have an Eiger.

David pulls the Eiger out of the crowd of invited guests. He wanted to teach Eiger a lesson by slapping him. However, Eiger managed to evade by holding David's hand firmly.

"All problems are not always through violence, Uncle. Everything should be well discussed. Listen first! You just came to your conclusion."

David did not expect that the Eiger was now a different man. He even knew that David would put him in the most difficult position.

"You?"

"All problems are not just with anger, Uncle. That girl was chasing me first. I should have listened to my explanation before taking a stand. If it's like this, who's ashamed?"

Eiger takes David's hand and leaves him. He returned to the ballroom to make the atmosphere return to how it was.

"I'm sorry for making such a noise. Honey, comehere!" Eiger calls Zoe to come closer.

The guests also knew that Eiger was not wrong. Biana is chasing him. Blerim, who had just found out about the situation, meets Eiger.
