Not the Successor to the Throne
Chapter 5. Who's The guy?

Eiger returned to the mansion. He was already thinking about tomorrow if Willard's family would kick him out. Eiger is not afraid of living in solitude. There must be a solution to every problem.

"Good morning, Ma," said Eiger.

As usual he would greet the people he met inside the mansion. Jean initially refrains from responding to the Eiger, but this time she is careless. He shouldn't have given anyone else's child a chance.

In addition to cueing, Jean chooses to ignore the Eiger. However, the boy begged Jean to talk to him as usual.

"Ma, Eiger's sorry. If you don't want to think of me as a child, it doesn't matter. It's just that if I can ask, let me act like a child to the parents. I will return the good favor that Mama has given me. What do I have to do to get my mom to accept me like before?"

For a moment Jean was swept away by Eiger's words. He almost fell asleep and forgot his real relationship. However, this is a good opportunity for Eiger to find Elov's whereabouts.

Jean turned around. Not to respond to Eiger's greeting, but to calculate the benefits that the Eiger will give him.

"Then find Elov! Find her! After that, I'll be nice to you. But, please don't call me Mama or my husband by papa's call. You can call me Jean or anything as long as it's not Mama!"

Apparently the pain that flows throughout the Eiger's body does not just stop there. Jean keeps hurting him so Eiger can get out of his life.

"But, Ma—"

"Eiger, please don't call me that! You're not my son."

Jean just left Eiger. He would rather go into the room and lock himself in there. She will only come out when her husband returns.

Eiger feeling sliced. Should he give up on this reality? Not that he wanted to leave this family directly, but Eiger was confused as to who to look for?

Eiger decides to go into his room. This might be the last time he was in his room. For 27 years he has enjoyed the wealth of Willard's extended family. Why does he regret it now?

Eiger bent his legs. He sat on the sofa while occasionally looking at the ceiling of his room. His phone since last night was not active so he decided to be alone first. He also did not enjoy his breakfast until noon.

"It turns out that treasure made everyone blind to his heart. I think Biana is sincere. She seems to be the same as a woman in general. Though in the near future I intend to marry her, but considering my condition as it is today. I think he's really left me."

Happiness for 27 years was shattered with honesty in one day. While focusing on himself, the door of the room that was deliberately locked had been knocked by someone. The Eiger opens the door. Who knows, Jean, his mother.

A waiter with a tray of food and drinks was there. The Eiger is reluctant to respond, but because of someone's request, the Eiger must accept it.

"Master, this breakfast should be spent. It's an order," the waiter said.

"On whose orders?" It was impossible for his mother to order the waiter to deliver food to him.

"Mrs, Mister. Please enjoy!"

The servant came out of his young master's room. After sending a message to someone, the waiter finished the task well.

Eiger feels her mother's attention is on her. She thought that her mother's indifference had completely severed the relationship between mother and child, apparently she was wrong.

Enjoy a tray of food in a better mood. This allowed the Eiger to eat all of his food. After putting down her tray later, she would meet her mother and say thank you.

A smile continued to expand on the man's lips. Today due to his feeling of being erratic kept him out of the office. Usually he works with the board. After knowing the statement from his parents, it is better for Eiger to confirm again his duties during this time. Is it still allowed to take care of Willard's company or not?

Sipping a glass of water after finishing the meal becomes the most perfect cover. Breakfast half afternoon was delicious because given his mother from the hands of the waiter.

"Thank you, mama. At least your love for me is still there even if not much" he told himself.

After feeling calm, Eiger brought the tray back to the kitchen. The servants accepted it as usual. They still consider the Eiger to be the crown prince of Willard who continues to be honored. His good attitude did not discourage them from disrespecting his young master.

"Master, just put it there! We'll wash it as usual" said one of the waiters.

"Oh, let me. All this time I've been troubling you, this time I'll finish it myself."

It's a little complicated to do household chores like this. However, Eiger still tries with the guidance of one of the servants.

"Master, just put it there. We'll finish it later" asked the waiter who helped her.

"Yes, okay. This time I gave up, but the next morning teach me again so I can master it."

"Good, Sir."

Eiger's friendly attitude makes them experience inner upheaval. Had the real young master returned, they were not sure his attitude was as good as the Eiger's. Eiger's good attitude has been attached to all servants in this luxurious mansion.

Leaving the kitchen, Eiger intends to meet his mother. He'll thank you for your attention to him.

Once there, Eiger knocks on the door of the sealed room. He deliberately did not make a sound because his mother must have refused to meet.

"Who?" asked Jean in the room.

Eiger. He kept knocking on the door until Jean opened it. Between upset and angry at Eiger for bothering him.

Jean intends to close the door again, but Eiger's feet first hold the door.

"Wait, Ma! I'd like to talk to you for a minute" pinta Eiger.

"What's wrong?"

"Ma, earlier I was sorry that my attitude this time hurt Mama a lot. As a child, I would never hate my mother. My mother raised me so well. If I have done anything wrong, Mama has the right to rebuke me."

Jean was silent. He was actually too lazy to pretend to be nice to her.

"Have you?" jean asked after she felt dizzy talking to Eiger.

"Yet, Ma. Eiger would also like to thank you for your concern today. Mama's already asked the waiter to deliver the food to my room."

Jean's eyes scanned Eiger's face. He felt he had done nothing to his son. It was a bit strange after she had exposed the secret then being able to be nice to him.

"Eiger, after what I said yesterday, don't think I'm gonna be nice to you. And, regarding the food that reached your room, it had nothing to do with me. So, I didn't do it."

Eiger. So who did all this? Could it be that the servant lied to her just to raise her heart? This left Eiger confused by what had happened.
