Chapter 29. Longing

Balthis never wanted to make his wife more sad or disappointed. He can't be honest with her. If Jean found out, it was certain that the woman he loved would be depressed.

"Darling, why are you quiet?" ask Jean again.

"I can't say anything. Just wait until Elov comes back."

Balthis moved from his seat. He was followed by his wife to the room. The woman was not satisfied with the answer her husband gave her.

While Blerim and David, the two are still making fun of each other. David does not accept that Eiger is set to be the successor of his family. He was just another lucky person to enter his extended family.
