CHAPTER 206

"BECAUSE I WANT TO SEE DAD!"

The loud cry was heard all the way to the living room of the Murat residence. They all turned to hear a loud voice from the direction of the second floor. At the end of the stairs, he saw Sela rebelling at a servant and wanting to go down the stairs.

"Bring Sela here!" tell Kevin to be firm with the waiter.

Sela who heard that immediately ran down the stairs with her tiny legs. "Don't run, son," said Sela, who is now sitting next to Kenzo.

"Udah Sela said she wanted to see Dad, still being detained," the boy grumbled with his legs that kept stepping wide.

"Dad!" sela shouted as soon as she got close to the living room.

"So why are you screaming, son?" ask Kenzo gently.

Sela remained silent. The boy's eyes glazed over his father's shattered face now. Her tiny hand moved gently touching Kenzo's cheek. "It hurts, Dad?" ask Sela softly.

Kenzo shakes. "Little son," replied Kenzo.

Sela turned her eyes to a man she knew had hit her father. Sela walked up to the man in slow steps, but looked very confident.

"I'm sorry if something's wrong, Grandpa. Don't hit Sela's father again. It must have hurt" said the boy pleading with his hands together in front of his chest.

Murat who saw that wanted to bring Sela's body into his arms. But yet his hand had not touched Sela, the boy had already walked backwards.

"Fear," he chirped slowly with his head lowered.

"Your actions frightened my granddaughter" said Dee, who intervened and lifted Sela's body into her arms.

Sela's cry broke in Dee's sling. "Fear Grandma" she told Dee.

"So don't be afraid, yeah. The old man did not eat people. That's proof Dad's still okay, right," Dee said, calming his grandson down.

Zahra who saw her son immediately stood up. "This is the same Mother, Son," said Zahra.

Sela shook her head. "You're the same Dad" he replied slowly.

Kenzo who heard that immediately stood up and took Sela from Dee's sling.

"Dad's fine, son," Kenzo assured his son.

"What's wrong dad? Why did Grandpa hit Dad?" ask Sela.

Kenzo shakes. "That's an introductory greeting, dear. Not because of anger" Kenzo said.

Sela stared confusedly with her innocent eyes. "There's such an introductory greeting, Dad?" sela was confused.

"Only for certain people, son," replied Kenzo.

"Serry ih! Scared!" said the child grimaced with pain imagine if later he will also be like that if doing introductions with new people.

They were all there chuckling little to see how the little girl reacted.

Zahra who heard Kenzo's explanation on Sela hit her husband's shoulder slowly. "Not a greeting, son. Dad and Grandpa studied martial arts, so. Don't hear Dad's explanation or anything else here, yeah. What Sela had to hear was the explanation of Mother, Grandma Dee, Grandma Nende, and also Aunt Eriye. The rest don't listen" said Zahra glaring back to see all the men in the house.

"Why is that Mother?" ask Sela again.

"They're crazy!" zahra replied annoyed. There is no right man in his family at this time. Hoping to get Grandpa who will be a little sane, but in fact the same.

Sela who was a little confused just nodded. After that he leaned back on his father's chest.

Kenzo sat back on the sofa and sat Sela on her lap. "So see Grandpa?" kenzo pointed at Murat.

Sela nodded. "That hit me, right?" ask Sela.

Kenzo nodded. "He was Sela's great-grandfather. His Grandfather from Mother. Sela's new family" said Kenzo, introducing Murat.

"Someday, Sela will know why you were beaten. Already, Dad is okay now. Father's face was also treated the same Mother. So Sela don't worry anymore, yeah," Kenzo said.

Sela nodded. The boy came down from Kenzo's lap and walked up to Murat. Right in front of Murat, the tiny feet of the boy stopped stepping.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Grandpa," said Sela politely.

Murat smiled gently. "Waalaikumsalam, Grandfather's great-granddaughter," Murat replied.

Sela walked closer. The boy's hand was stretched out to shake Murat. Murat raised his hand to avenge his great-granddaughter's hand.

Plaque.

Sela's hands changed direction. Instead of shaking hands, the boy hit Murat's palm with his tiny hand.

"Greeting introductions, Grandpa," said Sela with her ignorant face that made Murat snort bitterly.

Sela looked at Kenzo. One eye blinked looking at Kenzo as if saying what he wanted had been accomplished.

"Good job, son," said Kenzo chuckling amusedly at the boy's style.

"Duh, my son's style," Zahra clamored.

Sela turned back to look at Murat. Without a warning, the boy took Murat's hand and now completely regrets it. Even kissed the back of Murat's hand. "I'm sorry, Grandpa. That was Grandpa naughty too, so punished a little bit," said Sela with a grin.

"Truly the nature of his Father" grumbled Kevin who saw the behavior of the little girl.

Sela nodded. The boy immediately drowned his body into Murat's decapitation.

Murat hugged his great-granddaughter tightly. The man ceaselessly pecked small head of Sela.

Sela let go of her embrace when she felt wetness hit her cheek. "Grandfather crying?" ask Sela.

"It's a happy cry to be able to meet you, son," Murat replied.

"Sela was even happier. Now the Sela family is many. If it used to be just the two with Mother, and the three are the same as Grandma (Bu Sari). But now there are so many, Sela loves everything," said the boy.

All of them who heard that smiled. The plain words that came out of the child's mouth cut the hearts of the adult humans who were there. Especially Kenzo, the man with all his regrets.

"From now on Sela won't be alone or three anymore, son. Oiya, is Grandma Sela not coming?" murat asked Sari.

Sela shook her head. "Grandmother's got a lot of parlor activities, Grandpa. Grandma would rather be in the parlour now" Sela replied.

Murat who was not understanding looked at Zahra asking for an explanation. "Every month, Ibu Sari is always routine with her replacement activities, Grandpa. When Zahra invited here, I prefer to play and participate in the activities of the orphanage," said Zahra explained who was replied by a nod by Murat.

"Grandfather," call Sela softly.

"Yes my son" replied Murat.

"Don't hit Dad earlier, yeah. I don't want you to get sick. I know, Sela had a friend when she met Dad" Sela began her story.

"Son," rebuked Zahra so that Sela would not continue her words.

"Let it, dear," said Kenzo softly.

"Grandfather promises won't be so anymore, son," Murat said quickly. He knew everything, and he no longer wanted to hear Sela tell him all that sorrow. Right now their job is no longer to hear every sorrow, but their job is to replace that sadness with all the happiness for this little girl.

Sela enjoyed being introduced to her new family. The little girl did not stop chattering about anything she was going through. She enthusiastically showed off everything she could to Murat and Nende and her husband, Lukman.

"Ekhem, Grandpa," call Kenzo. Suddenly everyone was silent at Kenzo's call to Murat.

"Why Ken?" ask Murat.

"There's one thing I want to say" said Kenzo.

"What?" ask Murat.

Kenzo's outstretched hand gently stroked Zahra's already large stomach from behind the Abaya she used. "Here, there are also your future great-grandchildren" said Kenzo who deliberately hid everything from Murat in order to give a surprise to the old man.

Murat's face was surprised to be happy. Since Zahra's arrival, she had not noticed her grandson's belly, which was covered in a wide cloth. "Is that true?" ask Murat.

Little Sela who was in Murat's lap nodded in spirit. "Yes, Grandpa. Even twins," said Sela representing the answer of Father and Mother.

"Alhamdulillah" said all those who were glad to hear this happy news. All but Murat knew of Zahra's pregnancy. But with the twin grandchildren, this is a surprise for all of them.

"You gave Grandpa the most beautiful gift, son," said Murat haru.

"It's also because Sela can have a sister, Grandpa," said Sela, who also wanted to be praised.

"That's, son?" ask Murat.

"Yes. If Sela doesn't ask for a sister, God doesn't love her. So it's all because of Sela's request to Allah" the boy replied proudly.

"Well, have you said thank you to God?" ask Murat.

Sela nodded confidently. "Always and at all times" the boy replied confidently.

They all laughed at the girl's words. However, Zahra's eyes stared at something else from the look in the eyes of the man she called Father.

Kevin who noticed Zahra's gaze at her just smiled. After that he turned his eyes back to look at Sela.

.....

Now, they had all entered their respective rooms to rest.

Kevin stood looking out the window of his room. Everyone was happy at this moment because of a long-awaited meeting. But there was no denying it, another sadness in the corner of his heart that he had been enduring.

As he was engrossed in his daydreams, the door of the room opened. Kevin turned around and looked at who had entered his room without permission. When going mad, his intention was delayed when he saw Ibra standing on the doorstep.

"Why?" ask Kevin.

Ibra. He walked more and more into Kenzo's room. "I should have asked you the same. Why?" ibra.

Kevin turned. The man avoided eye contact with Ibra, who felt very intimidating.

"Gue's fine as you can see. It's a happy day" Kevin replied.

"Gue didn't say it was a sad day. And I also did not ask Lo either or not. Why can you be sure that I'm asking about Lo's situation?"
