Zahra smiled at Sela's sincere reply. "That means Sela just needs Mommy, right?" ask Zahra carefully.

Sela was silent for a while, then the boy nodded. Zahra smiled at Sela's nod. Sela also smiled, but within seconds, the smile turned into a smile of pain. The boy's tears just collapsed staring at his mother.

"Don't make Cela orphan again, Buna," said Sela in a trembling tone.

"Honey," said Zahra not strong to see the reaction of his son's face. The happy smile he had just seen on his son's face, now turned into a smile of sadness that cut his heart.

Sela cupped her hands together on her chest. "Buna, Buna can't go back to Dad. But don't be careless to be ashamed to meet and dear Daddy, yes Buna," said Sela pleading with Zahra.

Zahra silence. I don't know, his heart seems not sincere if Sela always enjoys time with Kenzo. Zahra was afraid that Sela would forget her later.

"Can't, yes Buna," said Sela, staring at Zahra who was just silent without answering the request he made.

Sela stood with her own face. The boy stepped out of Zahra who was still silent and headed for her room.

Ms. Sari who heard the conversation of Zahra and Sela from the kitchen wall, could only sigh softly. Bu Sari walked up to Zahra who was still sitting in the same position in her place.

"Son," call Bu Sari softly.

Zahra. He tried smilingly answering Bu Sari's call. "Yes, ma'am" replied Zahra.

"This is hard on your heart, son?" ma'am Sari asked, looking at Zahra.

Zahra raised her head. The woman looked at Bu Sari with a sad look. She shook her head, she was not hard-hearted, she also wanted to give happiness to her son, but let him do it his own way without having to involve Kenzo. "It's not like that, ma'am," said Zahra.

"Then what, son? Don't you think about Sela?" said Bu Sari trying to open the mind and heart of Zahra.

"Zahra always thinks of Sela, Mom," Zahra replied.

"If you think of Sela, it's not like this that you do. And never ask that question, son. Because your question makes him have to choose between Mother and Father. He just felt a father's affection, don't snatch it too soon. No matter how the parents treat, no child can choose between a mother and a father, because they are the strength of a child" said Bu Sari.

"Then what should Zahra do, Mom? Does Zahra have to go back to Kenzo? Does Zahra have to accept it and forget everything? Does Zahra have to reopen this still-undry wound, ma'am?" tanya Sela looked at Bu Sari softly.

Ms. Sari shook her head. "Mom didn't ask you to go back to Kenzo. I'm not asking you to forget everything either, son. But at least let Sela freely meet her father. Didn't you promise to give Sela the freedom to freely spend time with Kenzo? Then why are you back in it now? You can be an opinionated woman, but do not be selfish as a mother, son," said Bu Sari.

Zahra. The woman's head bowed hiding the tears that were dripping down without her being able to prevent. "Zahra was just afraid that Sela would get perfect happiness from Kenzo, Mom. Zahra was just afraid that Sela would stay away from Zahra. Zahra was not able to" Zahra said with a trembling voice conveying her heart. True, instead of Zahra forbidding, but she only fears that Sela finds more comfort and happiness with Kenzo. Sela will forget it.

"And you believe your son will be like that?" ask Ms. Sari.

"I mean Mom?" said Sela did not understand.

"Sela is not the child she used to be, Zahra. He grew up with so many life lessons. If he was right like that, now he wouldn't be coming home to this house. He will choose to live in the home of his father, grandmother or other family. They have more comfort than we deserve. But you see, your amazing son still chose to be with his mother" said Bu Sari who made Zahra mute. It's true what Ms. Sari said, if Sela wanted to, she would not be here anymore with her.

"And one more, son. Your child is not a selfish child" said Ms. Sari and immediately stood up to leave. The increasingly silent Zahra digested every single thing Bu Sari said.

Forgive me for hurting you, son. Inner Zahra recalled what she had said to Sela. Zahra understood now, the question she had asked Sela made the child uncomfortable.

.....

"Acalamu'alaikum, Dad," said a tiny voice that could add to Kenzo's happiness.

Kenzo squatted to align his height with Sela. "Waalaikumsalam, Father's Son. How did you know you were coming?" ask Kenzo.

Sela smiled. The boy's round cheeks looked naturally reddish this morning. This is what Kenzo likes, Sela has the beauty of her mother. "So Cela Dad Dali window kamal, so Langcung Cela open the door," replied Sela.

"The Smart Father's Son. Hugs first, yuk," said Kenzo stretching his hand. Unasked, Sela immediately hugged Kenzo.

This morning Sela woke up with her fresh face. The boy forgot his talk last night with the Mother. He didn't want to ruin his day, so he assumed that last night's talk was just a dream. All she wanted to do now, was love her Father and Mother fairly. Zahra, who had seen her son's cheerful attitude, was also happy. She didn't want her words last night to make Sela moody.

"Daddy is calapan?" sela asked after their embrace was released.

Kenzo shakes. "Not yet, son," replied Kenzo.

"If that's the same call Dad Cela, Buna and Grandma, yes," asked Sela.

Without hesitation Kenzo nodded. This is what he wanted. He knew his son would definitely pay attention to him, so he deliberately did not eat breakfast at home earlier.

With hands joined together, Kenzo and Sela walked towards the dining table. There are already Zahra and Bu Sari who are arranging their breakfast menu.

"Buna, Grandma. Dad came with the call, yes," said Sela staring at Zahra and Ms. Sari.

Zahra just stared at Kenzo flat. Then the woman turned to smile looking at Sela. Zahra nodded in agreement to Sela's request.

"Let's go, Dad" said Sela happily dragging Kenzo who was bigger than her to immediately sit in.

"Dad, I only got three. I'm sitting on Cela's kulci, yes" Sela said.

"Sela," said Zahra disagreed.

"It's okay, Buna. Let Cela sit on Dad's lap," said the boy staring at Mother and Father expectantly.

Kenzo smiled and nodded. Without waiting any longer, Kenzo sat up and lifted Sela's body to sit on her lap.

Happy, Sela enjoys every mouthful of Kenzo. Unlike Zahra who looked at Kenzo upset. Since then, the man's feet have never stayed under the table. Zahra's legs have always been her target. But Kenzo acted as if nothing had happened. It was very desirable for Zahra to anger her to vent her frustration, but she did not want to nod her child's pleasure.

Just watch out later. Inner Zahra looked at Kenzo with her hostile gaze.
