"No, she's pretty like her aunt."
DEG
Zahra stared at a voice that spoke her words.
Zahra turned her head to the side, her eyes glazed over at a woman she had longed for. The woman he longed to meet, but was held back by a sense of uneasiness built up by his own thinking.
"Sister" called out the voice. The woman's tears flowed without her being able to bear. Those longing tears finally came out from his clear eyes.
"Hiks, Brother," he called again when Zahra did not reply at all.
Zahra nodded with tears adorning her face. "Grandfather," call Zahra down.
"Sister," called Kina again and immediately brought Zahra into his arms.
Yes, that woman is Kina. A very dear sister of Zahra. A sister who received her presence with a chest. A sister who accepted him as a brother.
Dee and Kina drive Shasa to her first day of school. When she saw Shasa fall, Kina immediately ran after her son, while Dee returned to the car because something was left behind. However, when he saw who was helping his son, Kina's steps stopped, the happiness just appeared in his heart. Seeing Zahra dodging, Kina immediately took another direction to follow Zahra.
They hugged each other. The hug felt very tight, very tight. "Is this really Adekkan's sister, hiks? This isn't a dream? This is right, Brother Zahra, isn't it, hiks?" tanya Kina in a row hugged Zahra.
Zahra could only nod by holding her sister. "Where's brother? Why not go home?" kina said with her tears.
As she was about to open her voice, Zahra accidentally saw Dee who was about to walk towards them. Dee didn't see them because she was busy with something she knew nothing about in her bag.
"Sorry, you have to go" said Zahra, releasing her arms at Kina.
"No! Brother must come home Adek," said Kina firmly but looked at Zahra with his own eyes. Manahan's hand was tightly tied to Zahra's wrist.
Kina turned around, and she could see Dee there. "Did Brother avoid us?" ask Kina sissy.
Zahra turned her eyes away from Kina's eyes. Seeing Kina's sad gaze made Zahra's heart ache.
"Sister has to go, Dek," said Zahra, trying to let go of Kina's hand.
"Didn't you miss Umi? Didn't you miss the woman that you love so much? She is a woman who always cries at night because she misses her child, sister," said Kina with her cry restrained.
Zahra looked at Kina with tears streaming down her cheeks. "Allow Brother to go, yes" said Zahra softly with a hand that kept trying to release Zahra's grip on her hand.
Kina shook her head strongly. "Please, we go home, brother. Doesn't Brother miss Brother? Didn't you miss Abi? Didn't you miss Mother? Didn't you miss Daddy?" ask Kina streak.
Zahra kept trying to let go of her hand. But Kina held it very tightly.
"Sister has to go, Kina," said Zahra.
Kina shook her head strongly. "Did Brother give up the struggle that Brother had been doing?" ask Kina sissy.
"Sister's struggle is meaningless" said Zahra.
"No, Brother. Brother succeeded, Brother managed to get the heart of Brother's husband," Kina told Zahra.
"Nothing can be expected of that marriage. Sorry, Deck. You have to go!" said Zahra releasing Kina's hand from her wrist with a slight roughness.
Kina looked at Zahra's actions. "The brother that Adek loves has never been this rough" said Kina, who stopped Zahra's movement.
"Big sister Kina" said Zahra and ran with all her might to avoid her own family.
"Sister!"
"Sister, let's go home, brother!" yelled Kina calling Zahra.
"Sister, let's go home, we miss, hix," said Kina with her tears and a body that slid to the floor.
"China!" dee's new cry came and saw Kina already sitting on the floor with tears streaming down her face.
"Kina why, son?" said Dee gently squabbling to align her height with Kina.
Kina looked over and looked at Dee. "Umi" said Kina lirih.
"Why Honey?" said Dee softly.
"Sister, Umi," said Kina pointing to the passageway that Zahra had passed.
"Sister?" dee said he didn't understand.
Kina nodded. "Umi believes in Adek, right?" ask Kina.
Dee nodded. "Umi believes in Umi's son" Dee said.
"Sister, Umi. Sister is still alive, sister is in this city, Umi," Kina said with all her beliefs telling Dee.
"Za-Zahra?" dee said make sure.
Kina nodded with her smile. "Yes, Umi. Brother is alive. Zahra, our strong woman, Umi," said Kina.
"Daddy wasn't kidding, was he? Adek didn't lie, did he?" tanya Dee made sure with teary eyes.
"Even Big Brother can now walk, Umi. Brother is no longer in trouble," said Kina.
"So, don't joke around too much" Dee said.
"Serious grandchild, Umi. Brother is still alive, even Brother hugged Adek. Otherwise, Adek would not cry like this" Kina assured Dee.
Dee hugged Kina very tightly. "Is Zahra okay?" ask Dee.
"Very, Umi. Even Kaka looks better now" replied Kina.
"We tell Abi, yes," said Dee.
Kina let go of her embrace and looked at Dee. "Don't, Umi," said Kina.
"Why?" ask Dee wonder.
"Does Zahra hate us, son?" ask Dee.
Kina shakes. "Sister loves us very much. There must be another reason, Umi," said Kina.
"We must immediately find the residence of Brother, Umi," continued Kina.
Dee nodded. "We're going to do it, son," Dee said, hugging Kina. Believe me, this is the happy news that he had wanted to hear six years ago.
"But wait, Dek," said Dee, remembering something.
"Why Umi?" ask Kina.
"Did Zahra's son survive and now school here too?" dee said guessing.
Kina nodded confidently. "It could be, Umi. If not for what Brother is here," said Kina agreeing with Dee's words.
"We'll find out, son," said Dee, convinced by her happy smile, which was immediately embraced by Kina.
.....
Zahra held her chest that felt tight behind a large tree in the school garden. Her tears were not flowing after what had happened.
"Zahra misses Umi very much" said Zahra.
"Zahra misses Umi's embrace. Zahra misses affection, Umi. Zahra longs for Umi's hand on Zahra's head. Zahra misses when Zahra's hair is combed by Umi. Zahra was very homesick, Umi, hiks," said Zahra hugging herself.
"But I'm sorry, Zahra just doesn't want to make it hard for you guys to come back. Sorry, Umi," said Zahra again. Believe me, even today she misses Dee more than Sofia who is her own Mother. Zahra's bond with Dee is intertwined like Son and Lady Kandung.
.....
The time for school has come. Sela walks out of the classroom with Anna who is always in her grasp.
"Hi Sela," said a classmate of Sela's.
"Hi Caca" said Sela with a sweet smile.
"I'm Shasa, not Caca" Shasa said to Sela.
"Sorry," said Sela. He was afraid that his lack of speech would make people hate him.
"It's okay. Who's Sela coming home with?" ask Shasa cheerfully.
"Punches. My house is close to the check," said Sela.
"Go home with Shasa alone, yes," said Shasa immediately holding Sela's hand to the car that had picked her up.
"But Caca-"
"It's okay. Shasa is happy to be friends with Sela," Shasa said sincerely.
The two children walked together to Shasa's pickup car.
"Loh, Daddy," said Shasa shocked to see Al coming to pick him up.
"Little Princess, Daddy," Al said with a smile on the steering wheel.
"Why didn't Papa pick you up?" shasa asked confusedly.
"Papa's meeting replace Daddy. Now that Shasa's up, we're going to Papi's office right now" Al said.
"Office Papi?" ask Shasa happily. Because if he's going to his Papa's office, then he's going to get a lot of toys.
Al nodded with his smile. Until his gaze shifted to a child who had been silent and looked down behind Shasa. "Who is he, Sha?" ask Al.
Shasa patted his eel for forgetting to introduce Sela to Al. Shasa took Sela's hand and pulled it so that they stood in line. "He's Sela, Dad. Shasa's classmate" Shasa said.
Sela raised her head and smiled at Al. "Acalamu'alaikum, Uncle," said Sela in her lisp style.
"Waalaikumsalam," said Al smiling gently.
"Now let's go up, Sha," continued Al.
"But we take Sela home first, yes Dad," said Shasa.
Al nodded with a sweet smile. Shasa who was excited immediately invited Sela to take a car and the two of them sat in the back seat.
Al only paid attention to the interaction of Sela and Shasa who had been unable to stay still. Al's eyes continued to stare at Sela's face from the car glass that felt familiar to her.
"Caca," call Sela.
"Yes" replied Shasa.
"Did you have a nice dad?" ask Sela spirit to Shasa.
Al who heard Sela's question slowed down the pace of her car wanted to enjoy the interaction of the two children that seemed to attract her attention, especially Shasa.
Shasa innocently nodded in spirit. "It's really fun. I've got three, first Papa, Daddy and Papi" Shasa said happily. The Papa he was referring to was Aska, his real father, Daddy for Al and Papi for Kenzo.
Sela's eyes sparkled at Shasa's reply. "Well, Caca's a concave maggot, yeah. Can Cela ask her dad for a catu?" said plain Sela by showing her index finger, as if hinting at the number one.
"Sela doesn't have a father, does she?" ask Shasa plain.
Sela's face turned sad. Her hands twisted the tip of her hijab. "Definitely have a father, but the sword is rotten somewhere else," Sela replied grimly.
This kid reminds me of when I was a kid, so smart. Inner Al saw the attitude of Sela who was not much different from him when he was a child.
