Kenzo left the Ibra residence feeling shapelessly destroyed. He's totally alone right now. Everyone he considered family was not willing to support him.
Kenzo realized, this was his fault. These were all the rewards he had to receive from each of his treatment to Zahra. Kenzo gripped the car's steering force with a car speed that is not kidding. Even many other motorists protested Kenzo's actions.
That clear circle never stopped coming out of Kenzo's eye. "You weren't waiting for me, Zahra," said Kenzo.
"Even you didn't ask permission to leave. Doesn't a good wife have to give permission to her husband if she wants to go" Kenzo told himself.
"You have to take responsibility for my regrets, Zahra," Kenzo said with full hope.
A few minutes later, Kenzo arrived at his house. Time has shown at seven o'clock. Kenzo entered the house in a very disheveled state.
Kenzo stopped his steps and looked towards Zahra's restroom. Kenzo stepped into Zahra's room. Kenzo had his eyes set on seeing every corner of the old barn washroom that he had made his wife's own room.
Kenzo's eyes stopped right at Zahra's little mattress. Kenzo sat on the bed and fumbled around every corner.
"In this little bed we mix love, dear. That night was the most beautiful night. There's nothing more beautiful than you, Zahra. There is no woman more worthy of me than you, Zahra. My heavenly angel" said Kenzo.
When he remembered something, Kenzo got up and walked out of the room. He took large steps up the stairs to his room. Kenzo headed straight for the closet and picked up the untidy rolled bed sheet.
Kenzo took her to the bed and laid herself on the bed with the bed sheet covering her.
"This is the memory of our love, dear," said Kenzo gently rubbed the bed sheet. Even the dried blood of the virgin Zahra is still attached to the bed sheet.
"I beg you to come back, Zahra, hiks," said Kenzo with a cry kissing the bed sheet. There was no disgust in him to kiss the bed sheet.
This is what Kenzo has to face. The regret of the love he sacrificed just for avenging an unwarranted grudge. There is no man more stupid and ready than him in this world.
.....
Ibra stood on the balcony of her room with a long view of the sky. I don't know what in his mind, Ibra until not realizing Dee who had been standing next to him.
Dee noticed there was clear water in the corner of Ibra's eye. His hand was moved to wipe the clear water, so as to awaken Ibra from his daydream.
"Eh, dear," said Ibra shocked by Dee's whereabouts.
"What else do you think?" ask Dee gently.
Ibra carries Dee's body into her arms. Hugged a woman who always gave her a source of life. His breath, his world, and everything seemed to depend on this woman. Really, not a word of love could represent the magnitude of the love he had for this woman.
Dee felt Ibra's trembling body in her arms. Her shoulders also felt wet from Ibra's tears.
"Mas," said Dee to let go of his embrace of Ibra. But Ibra instead tightened his embrace to Dee.
"I failed, dear," Ibra said in a trembling voice.
"Mas" said Dee, preventing what Ibra would say next.
"I failed, my dear. I can't take care of my own daughter" Ibra said with a cry she's been holding since breaking into Dee's arms.
Tears that he had been holding since he drove Zahra to the airport, now can no longer be accommodated by his heart. "You didn't fail, Mas" said Dee, gently rubbing Ibra's shoulder.
The tears that he held in front of all the families were now coming out just like that. The burden that had stifled his heart since then was already unable to bear.
"You're the best Abi for the kids, Mas. There is nothing better than you for our children" Dee said.
"Why should my mistake have this big of an impact, dear? Why does the past always haunt the future?" ibra asked as if blaming all the destiny that happened in his life.
"Do you blame fate, my dear?" tanya Dee let go of her embrace and looked at Ibra inside.
"I feel like I want to curse life, dear," said Ibra.
Dee shook her head to hear Ibra's words. "Do you also blame the presence of me and the children, Mas?" tanya Dee looked at Ibra softly.
Ibra looked at Dee with a guilty look at her words. "It's not so, dear," said Ibra.
"If you curse life, it means you curse my presence, Mas. If you curse life, it means you curse the presence of Al and Kina. If you curse life, then you curse the presence of Zahra too, Mas. Me and the kids aren't a curse, Mas" Dee said.
Ibra shook her head and immediately hugged Dee. "Sorry dear," murmured Ibra repeatedly peeked at Dee's head.
"Mas, it's not just you who's sad, it's not just you who's in pain for what happened to Zahra. We all feel it, Mom. Did you forget, there's Brother Kevin and Sofia who are more hurt. Never blame life, Mom. There must be wisdom and blessing behind all our sorrows. Don't be afraid, Mom. We have God to complain and ask for solutions" Dee told Ibra.
"From then until now, even my gratitude for your presence has never diminished. It's getting bigger and more days, baby. Thank you," said Ibra sincerely.
Dee nodded. "There is no rib that let the raga where he took refuge sad, Mas" Dee said with a sweet smile.
.....
The sun has illuminated the Earth. He appears in place of the moon's night duty to light up the Earth.
Kenzo opened his eyes slowly as light entered from the fentilation crack of his room. The man's eyes seemed swollen from crying all night for all his regrets.
"Wherever you go, I'll find you Zahra. A wife has to go back to her husband's house, Kan," Kenzo said.
Kenzo took his phone and called Arman. "Hello Arman" said Kenzo after the call.
"Yes, sir" replied Arman across the street.
"Take the passenger's name for each flight yesterday and let no one be left behind. You wait for me at the airport" said Kenzo immediately closed his call without waiting for Arman's reply.
Kenzo got up and walked into the closet. Kenzo pushed a glass cabinet door. Who would have thought, it's not a closet door. But it was the door to a secret room that only he knew about.
Kenzo looked at the wall of the room filled with photos of a woman sitting in a wheelchair.
"May your prayers always accompany my struggle, dear," Kenzo gently rubbed one of the photos.
