Painful Marriage
CHAPTER 44

🌹HAPPY READING🌹

Six Years Later .....

The very simple little house was filled with the crying voice of a cute girl. A child who looks cute with chabi cheeks and round eyes, a tiny nose and lips that are very desirable for many women with a natural red color. Her nose was red from crying. The veil that covered her head and wrapped her hair was already messy and wet with tears.

A beautiful woman tried to calm the child. The child who for six years has been the reason to continue to survive. Banging bones to support his little angel. "Cup, cup, cup. Mother's child do not cry anymore, yes," said the woman to calm her child.

"Hiks, foot blemish, Buna. Evil Cepedana for Cela to fall," said the child complained to his mother.

The woman smiled and gently wiped the tears on her son's cheek. "The bike isn't evil, son. But Sela has to be even more careful. Bring the bike should be slow, should not be tight," said the woman persuaded her son.

The little girl was funny. The eyes decorated with plump eyelashes look very adorable. "It's a flaw, isn't it Buna?" ask the boy plainly.

The woman smiled back and watched her son's reaction. "Not Sela was wrong either. It's just that you have to be more careful again, son," said the woman.

The boy smiled accompanied by a nod from his head. Until the call from the kitchen distracts them.

"Zahra," called out the voice of a woman who was no longer young from the kitchen.

"Mother the kitchen first, son. Sela continued to play her dolls, yes. Mommy has to work again," said the woman.

The daughter nodded obediently and let her Mother go to the kitchen. While he continued his playing activities with an old doll that looked very shabby. The color that was once ivory white was already browned because of its shabby.

"How much sugar is this, Zahra?" ask the middle-aged woman.

Yes, she is Zahra Thalita. A disabled woman who with all her gratitude survived the devastating flood that occurred six years ago in the city of Tarim. The city that used to be his choice to calm the heart and mind. The city that used to be his choice to pick up complete happiness.

After giving birth to her baby, a miracle happened to Zahra. Feet that for twenty-four years did not work, now he can use to walk after giving birth to his child. The process of childbirth that risked life, turned out to give a priceless blessing to Zahra. Although he had to learn to walk like a child, but because of his persistence, Zahra could use his legs like a normal human.

Don't blame, even Zahra went through the process of crawling. His legs that do not function from birth are really trained like a child who just walked. The experience that Zahra had wanted from the past could finally get her. Passing through the process of learning to walk as a child was found Zahra when she grew up. If the hand of God is already working, it is not impossible in this world. Six months after giving birth, Zahra can walk normally.

"That's ten spoons, ma'am. Later let Zahra stir the others," Zahra told Bu Sari. The middle-aged woman who helped him all this time. The middle-aged woman who gave him shelter and affection was like a child.

Zahra took a spoon and gave another recipe to her cake batter. This is Zahra's work now. Make cakes and put in stalls to connect his life. Making a living to support the little one who has always been the source of his passion.

Bu Sari noticed Zahra who seemed very focused on her activities. "You don't want to go back, son?" bi Sari said to Zahra.

Zahra's activities stopped hearing Bi Sari's words. "Where are you going back, Mom? Zahra's house is here" said Zahra calmly.

"Don't hold your own grief, son. Come back and be happy with your family" said Bu Sari softly.

"Are you unhappy with Zahra and Sela?" asked Zahra slowly looking at Bu Sari.

Ms. Sari shook her head slowly. He smiled and gently clasped Zahra's hand. "Mother is very grateful for your presence and Zahra's. Your presence allows you to let go of longing for your dead mother's child. But Sela deserves to know about her extended family, son. He has his own Grandma, Grandpa, Om, Aunt, as well as his own father" said Bu Sari.

"Zahra has been very happy like this, ma'am," Zahra said.

Bu Sari sighed softly hearing Zahra's reply. It's always like this the answer he gets every time they talk about the Zahra family.

"Yes, then I want to accompany Sela first to play in front," said Bu Sari.

Zahra nodded. Ms. Sari left the kitchen and left Zahra alone. "They're happy without Zahra, Mom. Enough is enough for Zahra to be a burden to them" Zahra murmured softly. A smile rose on Zahra's lips as she recalled the memories of her wanting to return to her family home, but she chose to leave.

*Flashback On*

Zahra blinked her eyes as the sunlight felt very close to her. He looked around, the city that was once very beautiful, was now dirty due to the flooding that hit. Zahra looked around, a lot of rubbish. When his hand touched something cold. "Astagfirullahalazim" Zahra said in shock as her eyes looked at the dead body of the woman next to her.

Zahra groped her stomach. "May you still be in here, son," Zahra said expectantly.

"You who?" zahra said in Indonesian. For a moment Zahra forgot that she was currently in Tarim City.

Zahra shook her head slowly as she came to her senses with the language she was using. Just as Zahra was about to repeat her question, the person who had just patted her shoulder replied. "I volunteer from Indonesia" said the woman who is no longer young.

A smile rose on Zahra's face. God was very good to him. Every single tribulation, there was a thousand good things that he got.

"My name is Sari. Just call Ms. Sari" said the woman introducing herself.

"Want me take you to your family?" he asked Zahra.

Zahra was silent for a moment. He did not want to make his family worry more because of his circumstances. Zahra shook her head with a smile. "Can you take me where you go? I'll see my family later" Zahra said.

Bu Sari nodded. He was about to extend a hand to help Zahra stand up. But Zahra politely refused. "I'm sorry, I'm a disabled girl" Zahra said calmly with a smile.

There is a bad taste in Bu Sari's heart. He left for a while and asked other volunteers to help bring Zahra. Until finally Zahra joined Bu Sari to his post in the Northern part of Tarim City. Very contrary to the location encountered Ibra and others.

Just as Zahra was about to leave, without Zahra noticing, the ring she was using slipped out of her hand. Maybe because it was slippery, the ring just fell down.

Eight months after the incident, Zahra decided to surprise her family. During these eight months, Zahra lived in Indonesia with Bu Sari. It turned out that Bu Sari only lived alone because his son had died because he helped Indonesian volunteers to Palestine. His son died defending Islam.

For eight months, Zahra took care of herself and her healthy content to this day. Zahra wanted to surprise her family that she was doing well at the moment, even very well. "The belly of Adek Kina must be this big right now, too" Zahra said imagining a cute-looking Kina with her big belly.

"Are you ready to go, son?" said Ms. Sari.

Zahra nodded with excitement. Ms. Sari pushed Zahra's wheelchair and they went to the Hebi family's residence.

Half an hour by taxi, Zahra and Bu Sari arrived in front of the Hebi family home.

"Stop, Mom," Zahra told Ms. Sari who pushed her wheelchair.

Ms. Sari stopped Zahra's wheelchair. Zahra looked from the fence to the front garden of the house. All the families were gathered there. Zahra's heart skipped a beat when he saw a man who was the father of his son, Kenzo. Smiles appear to be on all their lips. Zahra's vision fell on a beautiful hijab-wearing woman who appeared very close to Kenzo. "They look very happy, ma'am," said Zahra.

Bu Sari gently rubbed Zahra's shoulder. "We have to go there, son," said Ms. Sari.

Zahra saw herself. Looking at his feet, which until now still depends on a wheelchair. The presence of Zahra would definitely only be troublesome. It is better that Zahra be considered dead, than to return to being a burden. Inner Zahra.

Zahra gently rubbed her stomach as her eyes looked at Kenzo who was also looking at Kina's belly which seemed to be enlarged with a sad look. Zahra thought that Kenzo looked at it that way to channel his love for Kina, when in fact, I don't know, Kenzo who knew himself about his heart. It turns out that Ken really loves Kina. Although only in silence, but Kak Ken's love for Kina does not seem to fade. Zahra is happy, the family can all forgive and accept Kak Ken like his own family again. The Inner Zahra.

"We'll just go, ma'am" said Zahra, looking at Ms. Sari.

"But Nak-"

"Better steps like this, ma'am. I still want to receive Zahra at Mom's, don't you?" ask Zahra.

"You're like Mom's own son, son. But you know Mom's life now. Do you mind living hard?" said Ms. Sari was not good. He saw that the Hebi family home was already feeling bad.

"Zahra's always been tough, ma'am. Even more than I imagined" said Zahra.
