Painful Marriage
CHAPTER 45

🌹HAPPY READING🌹

Zahra and Sela walked down the street to go to the stalls to drop doughnuts and various snacks that she had made. Sela's tiny hand was held tightly by Zahra. Grasping each other and swinging hands enjoying the time together.

Sela's eyes glanced left right at the number of people passing by. Those adorable eyes seemed to be looking at a sad sight that could make him envious.

"Buna," call Sela softly.

"Yes, son" replied Zahra looking down at her son.

Sela looked at Zahra with an indecipherable look. After that the boy shook his head and turned his eyes in another direction.

"Why Nak?" zahra asked gently stopping her path and crouched down in front of Sela. Zahra looked at the park on the side of the road.

"Will we play in the park?" zahra asked when she saw the children playing in the park.

Sela kept her head down and played the doll she always carried. "No Buna. Cela was more fond of playing with Anna," replied Sela calling a shabby doll that had always been her friend to tell stories. She hesitated, if she spoke, then she would see sadness on her Mother's face.

Sela raised her head and smiled at Zahra. "Later if there is more money, we go to the date night, Buna," said Sela happy.

"Is that what Sela wants to say?" ask Zahra.

With confidence Sela nodded along with her sweet smile. "Later if there is sustenance, we will go to the night market and play with all our content" said Zahra.

"Telimakaci, Buna," said Sela happily.

"Anything for little angel Mother," said Zahra rubbed soft cheek Sela. Zahra stood up and stood next to Sela. They continued on their way to the next shop.

Cela bica held back dili not to ask where Dad, from Buna, did not cry anymore. Inner Sela. The sight of Son and Father he saw in the garden made him want to feel the same way. But every time he asked his father, his mother's tears would answer.

.....

While in his car, Kenzo looked at the streets that looked crowded. From inside the car he could see many people who would carry out his activities.

The man's gaze looked soft with slightly watery eyes. Kenzo's hand rubbed the corners of his already wet eyes. My son must be a big boy by now. Inner Kenzo.

Every day there are tears that accompany her days. Confidence in the safety of his wife and child due to the Flood in Tarim City is still there today. But why did destiny never accompany my faith to bring us together, dear?" Kenzo turned to look at the photo of Zahra who was always in his wallet.

"We've arrived, sir," said the driver who broke Kenzo's daydream.

Kenzo raised his head and nodded. He got out of the car and walked into his company. There was not a word Kenzo said to the driver. Cold, Resolute, Silent, working and working were Kenzo's traits after Zahra left him. That handsome smile seemed to disappear from his face along with Zahra's departure from his life.

"Good day, sir," said Arman, welcoming Kenzo.

Kenzo stopped and nodded. "What's my schedule, Arman?" ask Kenzo.

Arman read out Arman's busy schedule into the afternoon. "Later five o'clock in the afternoon, please go home. I'll stay at the office" Kenzo said after hearing his schedule.

"But Mr-"

"No objection, Arman!" kenzo said firmly and passed away leaving Arman to enter his room.

Arman breathed slowly. Though Kenzo asks her to leave, all Arman does is stay in the Office unbeknownst to Kenzo. This is all he did on Anggara's orders, Papa Kenzo. He was afraid that Kenzo would do things out of control.

.....

As night fell, Sela sat by the window with her head propped up on the wooden window. His eyes stared at the beautiful Moon of the night accompanied by the stars that surrounded him.

Next to the chair Sela sat in was a small chair occupied by her beloved doll.

"Anna," called Sela softly as if the Doll had heard and understood all her words.

"Will Cela's father be handsome?" said Sela.

Sela took the doll and put it close to her ear. He nodded as if Anna was talking to him. "Defamelessly. Cela's father must be handsome. Mother is beautiful, Daddy looks, so Cela is beautiful too" Sela told Anna.

Sela brought her ears closer to Anna. "Anna is indeed Cela's best friend" Sela said with a sweet smile to Anna.

Sela spends her time playing with Sela. Once Sela tried to play with other children in the complex park, but no one wanted to play with Sela. They mocked that Sela had no father. Sela was sad, even very sad. But he held back and said nothing to his mother about this. Because she knew, if she said everything, her mother would be sad.

Without Sela noticing, Bu Sari saw and heard everything Sela did and said from the door of Sela's restroom.

"So not sleeping?" said Bu Sari entering Sela's room.

Sela looked back and shook her head. "Grandmother hasn't been spayed?" said Sela asked Bu Sari back.

"Cela tidul cendili aja, Nek," replied Sela.

"Where's the moon, Grandma?" ask Sela again.

"Mother doughnuts, son," replied Ms. Sari. Sela rounded her lips to form the letter O and nodded in response to Bu Sari's reply.

"Ec ... Grandma," call Sela in doubt.

Ms. Sari gathered in front of Sela to align her height with the child. "Why Honey?" ask Bu Sari softly.

Sela raised her head and looked towards the door of her room. He walked to the door and closed it. After that Sela again approached Bu Sari.

"So you want to talk about something?" said Bu Sari who saw nervous waves and hesitated on Sela's face.

Sela nodded. "What blemish can I ask, Grandma?" said Sela.

Bu Sari nodded with her smile. "It's okay, son," said Bu Sari softly.

"Can you take Cela's belt to see Dad?" tanya Sela looked at Bu Sari's eyes with her innocent look.

Bu Sari's heart skipped a beat hearing more precise questions like begging for this.

"Can't ya, Grandma?" said Sela looking at Bu Sari who was just silent.

"Why is Sela suddenly talking about this?" said Ms. Sari.

"Definitely just don't bica hold back my longing to see Dad's face," Sela replied with her head lowered.

"Sir, are you the makih in the world or in the geek? Buna did not want to answer that Cela belanya about this. If Dad is in the gulga, then Cela will embrace Dad through Prayer, like Grandma hugging Grandpa," said Sela mutely.

Miss Sari doesn't know how to talk for now. He did not want to make Sela sad, but he also could not get ahead of Zahra's right to tell the truth about this. Zahra is more worthy than she is.

"Sela," called out a voice from the direction of the door.

Sela looked down deeply when she heard the voice of her mother. Zahra who saw that walked over to Sela and Bu Sari.

"Mother get out first. Don't be mad at him, son. He only demands his rights as a child" Bu Sari said.

Zahra nodded with a look that could not be separated from Sela.

After Bu Sari came out. Zahra brought Sela to sit on the bed. While he rested on the floor with both knees as his pedestal.

"Look at Mommy, Son," said Zahra softly.

Sela shook her head. She was afraid to look at her mother who she thought would scold her. "Mother is not angry, dear," said Zahra.

Sela who heard Zahra's words raised her head slowly. The boy's eyes were already teary-eyed looking at his mother. "I'm sorry, Buna" said Sela.

"Sorry for what, son?" ask Zahra.

"I'm sorry for asking Dad," Sela's great-grandson softly.

"It was Sela's right to ask" Zahra said with a smile.

"Why not ask directly to Mother?" zahra.

"Will Buna answer Cela's question?" ask Sela back.

Zahra nodded in response to Sela's question. "Buna will answer. But with the eyes, right," said Sela with a trembling voice rubbing her mother's cheek.

"I'm sorry Mother, yes son," said Zahra.

Sela shook her head. "Buna is not. Cela's mouth is naughty," said Sela gently hit her lips with one hand accompanied by the boy's smile. It was as if she was comforting her mother with the manner in which she was doing.

Zahra hugged her son tightly. Gratitude he always said because given the most beautiful gift in his life. Sela Arunika Kenzar, the little angel who became the reason to keep breathing.

Forgive Mother, Son. Mother just doesn't want us to go back in time. Life is so painful if Sela meets him. Forgive Mother, Son. Sorry if the trauma of Mother because of the painful marriage makes Zahra have to feel the life of Orphans like this. Inner Zahra.
