Painful Marriage
CHAPTER 85

This morning, Zahra woke up excitedly. For some reason, his body has been feeling cold since Tamara's arrival yesterday. Not because of pain, but because of his unsettled heart condition. Kenzo and Tamara are about to get engaged, but Zahra is made fussy by her mood.

As usual, Zahra helped Bu Sari to prepare breakfast. Ms. Sari noticed Sela's movements like an unsettled person. There is a restlessness that Bu Sari sees from Zahra.

"What's wrong with you, son?" ask Ms. Sari.

Zahra stopped her activities tidying the dishes on the table and smiled while shaking her head at Bu Sari. "Zahra is fine, ma'am," said Zahra, trying to calm down.

"You look like a restless person, Zahra," said Ms. Sari, refuting Zahra's words.

Zahra. "Zahra is okay, Mom. Just a little dizzy" said Zahra gave an excuse.

"Then you rest, let Mother prepare breakfast," said Ms. Sari.

"Zahra is strong, Mom. Zahra's body is fine. Zahra's heart is not calm" said Zahra with a voice that was so agitated.

"Yes, but do not let you get sick, Zahra," said Ms. Sari.

"Yes, Mom," Zahra replied with a smile.

"Good morning, Buna, Grandma," said Sela who came with her spirit face.

"Good morning, son."

"Good morning, Grandma's Grandson."

"It was so exciting this morning. What's up, son?" ask Ms. Sari.

"Yes dong, Grandma. Later that night, Daddy mama Tamala will be engaged," replied Sela eagerly.

Miss Sari who knew that last night from Zahra just smiled. "Sela happy?" asked Bu Sari while helping Sela sit on the dining table chair.

Sela nodded in spirit. "Very happy, Grandma. Because Buna is happy too. Isn't that right, Buna?" sela looked at Zahra.

Zahra smiled and nodded. Didn't know Sela if her mother's body was hot cold at this time since hearing the news of Kenzo's engagement.

"Yeah, Buna. Later come home check, Cela invited by Mama Tamala to make cali dress party later tonight. Okay, Buna?" sela asked, looking forward to Zahra.

Again Zahra just nodded affirming Sela's words.

Bu Sari who saw that looked at Zahra sadly. "Is this what you want, Zahra?" ask Bu Sari softly.

Zahra did not answer. "Zahra grab the glass first" said Zahra passed away without answering Ms. Sari's question.

Sela looked in wonder at Zahra. His eyes looked at the glass that had been arranged in the glass hanger that was in front of his own eyes. "Grandma, this is a glass" said Sela plainly pointing at the glass.

Ms. Sari put her index finger on Sela's mouth, a sign asking the child to be quiet. "Mother is upset again," said Ms. Sari half whispered.

"Hihihi, tos first, Nek," said Sela. The grandmother and granddaughter were furious that their plan to fire Zahra was successful again this morning.

Yes, Ms. Sari does know everything. Of course Ms. Sari found out from Sela. The boy always told Bu Sari about anything, not least this plan with Kenzo and Tamara.

.....

Sela came to school with a smile on her face. Because the child is very happy, tonight Mother and Father will definitely be reunited. Their plan will definitely work later.

"Good morning, Chaca," said Sela greeting Shasa as she placed her bag on the chair.

"Hi Sela, I can't wait for tonight" said Shasa, who learned that her Papi and Zahra's mother will return to live together.

The two kids knew it. Of course Sela told Shasa. Their friendship and brotherhood make no secrets they have for each other. They become a place to exchange stories, both sad and happy.

"Grandmother, Grandpa, Uncle Kenzo, Mama Kina, Daddy and Mommy Bella don't know, Chaca?" ask Sela.

Shasa raised her thumb answering Sela's question. "All safe, Cell. But there's one person who knows" Shasa said.

"Who?" ask Sela.

"Daddy," Shasa replied.

Sela nodded at Shasa's words like an adult. "Daddy is okay, if Daddy and Uncle Thomas are friends too," said Sela Yanh, signed by Shasa.

After that, the two of them looked at each other and smiled. "Good luck" Shasa and Sela said together. After that, the two children embraced each other channeling the affection and happiness they felt.

.....

At half-six in the afternoon, Sela had just returned from the boutique to look for her party dress with Tamara. The little girl held two large bags in her hand as she got down from Tamara's car. Sela is only driven home by Tamara's company driver, while Tamara has to prepare for the event for later tonight.

Although heavy, but Sela walked into her house with a cheerful face. The hijab that the boy was using already looked messy. The hair on the left and right sides of her cheeks had already come out of her headscarf.

"Acalamu'alaikum, Buna," said Sela. The door of the house opened a little. So, the boy just pushed the door and put his groceries on the sofa.

"Waalaikumsalam" replied Zahra who came from his room.

"Have you come home from the shopping, son?" ask Zahra.

Sela noticed her Mother's face that looked a little puffy, especially around Zahra's eyes. Zahra's tiny red nose and lips, as well as her eyes.

"Buna," call Sela.

"Yes, son," replied Zahra smiling.

Sela took a separate Tote bag, then gave it to Zahra. "This is Buna's shirt later. Mama Tamara designed this for Buna" Sela told Zahra.

"But, Nak-"

"Fifth, Buna. The clothes in Mama Tamala's cantole are many. There's powder too. So this will not make Mama Tamala lugi," said Sela is right. While joining Tamara, Sela was taken to Tamara's company, and there was also Kenzo who ordered clothes for Zahra and Sela. You certainly remember that Tamara is the owner of a fashion company and beauty products.

With hesitation, Zahra picked up the Tote bag that Sela had given her. "Later tonight we're subtly beautiful, Buna."

.....

The long-awaited night has finally arrived. Kenzo's plan's peak is finally coming too. Kenzo pegs himself in the mirror. The man looked handsome with a navy tuxedo wrapped around his athletic body.

A smile rose on the man's lips. "In a moment, we're together, honey," Kenzo muttered softly looking at the photo of Zahra on the wall of his room. The engagement will be held at Kenzo's home. This is all at Kenzo's request, because if it's at the hotel, it'll add complexity later.

"Ken," call Al who's coming from Kenzo's room door.

"Yes Al," replied Kenzo turning to look at Zahra.

"If this doesn't work out, then Lo's life's over, Ken," Al said in a mocking tone. The man was no less handsome with a suit wrapped in his stocky body.

"Lo doubt me, Al?" ask Kenzo.

Al shakes. "Gue's just worried. Seeing Zahra's determination, I hesitated. And when Zahra is truly sincere, then Thomas is Lo's soul mate" Al stared at Kenzo mocking.

"Laughter Lo now. If I succeed, one of Lo's favorite cars, for me," said Kenzo.

"Lo think my sister's betting?" al did not accept.

"Hehe, joke Abang Ipar," said Kenzo ciut saw the look of Al's serious face.

Kenzo turned to look at her reflection in the mirror. "I'm sure tonight is the time to pay for my past mistakes" Kenzo said seriously.

.....

The living room of Kenzo's mansion looks very crowded. Kenzo and Tamara were already standing on such a lavishly decorated stage for their ring exchange. Large decorative lights provide beauty throughout the room of Kenzi's house. From the front, Sela and Shasa are carrying a ring box, accompanied by Mama Kenzo. The two little girls were very beautiful in navy clothes. Compatible with Kenzo's clothes, even matching Zahra's clothes, but the woman didn't realize it.

Tamara who saw everyone snorting was annoyed at Kenzo. "If this doesn't work how?" tamara said she was upset that not seeing any signs Zahra would derail everything.

"Gue still wants to try the hole, yes Ken," Tamara said threateningly in a whispering tone.

"Now Zahra will come, Thom" Kenzo said. "Lo has to smile, don't be wry on Lo's face" Kenzo continued. Tamara smiled beautifully obeying Kenzo's words. Totally the totality of Thomas's current double personality.

Zahra stood at the back with Dee. Kina and Bella stood in front of their husbands. While Ibra and Anggara, Papa Kenzo also stood at the front.

O Allah, Zahra is not sincere. Zahra's mind held all the tightness in her chest. I don't know, he was suddenly jealous to see Tamara who tonight looked so beautiful, so harmonious when she was next to Kenzo, as she is today.

Zahra's hands squeezed both sides of the dress she was wearing. And all that was not out of Dee's sight. "Son," call Dee to gently touch Zahra's hand.

"Yes Umi" said Zahra smiling.

"If you can't, don't look" Dee said.

For some reason, hearing Dee's words, it felt like tears that Zahra had been resistant to rebelling came out of her eyes.

"Umi," call Zahra down.

"Sir Ken hasn't signed his divorce papers, has he?" dee asked with a trembling voice.

"By law, you're still husband and wife, son," Dee said.

"Is Zahra entitled to cancel this, Umi? Zahra couldn't see it. Zahra is not willing" Zahra said with tears streaming down her cheeks.

"But Tamara"

"Zahra doesn't feel sincere, Umi. Very," said Zahra quickly cut off Zahra's words.

Zahra cupped her hands together in her chest. Soon the ring will circle on Tamara's finger. "Umi, Zahra's blessing, Umi" Zahra looked at Dee.

"Maintain your marriage, son," said Dee rubbing gently on Zahra's back.

Zahra turned around, looking at Kenzo and Tamara who were on stage. Unintentionally, Zahra catches the sight that a large lamp hanging directly above Kenzo's head is swaying inexplicably. Kenzo glanced at the large pillar. There is like an iron chain rope that becomes the fastener of the big decorative lights.

"SISTER KEN."
