PENGHALAM
Chapter 33. Pampering Weny

After Judah left the room, Vira could only breathe out. The woman did not think about her husband, why he could think so badly about her and Raka. Though all this time Vira was professional and never thought to be close to Raka.

Vira took off the blezer she was wearing, then she sat on the edge of the bed, facing the window. The woman looked straight ahead, she did not expect that her domestic life would end like this. On the other hand, he also still loved Yudha, that's why he still survives.

But Yudha's suspicion of him had left her heart slightly wounded. If only he had been given the opportunity to defend himself even more, maybe Vira could say the thing that he had been silent in his heart. Receiving a honey in her life was painful, but she could endure it all. If Vira was never jealous it was impossible, all this time she was envious of Weny who had always been a priority.

What did Yudha say? He suspects Vira? Maybe it was Yudha's jealousy, but did she ever think that she was jealous of Weny?

Thinking about it made Vira dizzy, the work at the office already made her very tired. But when she got home she was accused of that by her husband. Not wanting to think about it continuously, Vira decided to take a bath so that her body was fresher.

On the other hand, Desy was cooking in the kitchen. The middle-aged woman was preparing dishes for dinner later, seen also Weny who was sitting at the table while playing her mobile phone.

Desy deliberately forbids Weny to do homework, the woman always spoils her new daughter-in-law. He is not angry at all even if Weny only plays cell phones all day, different when with Vira first. Desy always scolded the woman if any homework was not right, even though it was just a small mistake.

"Are you sure you don't want to be helped?" ask Weny. In the heart of fact the woman was very happy because just sitting sweet at home, no need to do anything.

"No. You just relax, let Mother do all the work," replied Desy softly. Even though it was very clear that the middle-aged woman's face looked very tired, how not, since the morning of homework all she did. All that so that his new son-in-law does not need to work, he just wants Weny to relax so as not to get tired.

Silently Weny smiled, a smile that was hard to decipher. Then he went back to playing cell phones, really like a child who did not have the initiative to help. He was also completely insensitive with Desy's face looking exhausted.

Not long after, Vira went down. She saw that her in-laws were cooking in the kitchen and Weny was relaxing, wondering why the honey was not helping at all.

Vira then also looked around, seeing that today the house is a little dirty. Can be seen from the floor is less slim, it seems to have not been dipel. But now it's none of his business anymore. Ever since Yudha decided to marry Weny, Vira had already decided not to interfere in matters of household chores. His responsibility was to arrange his own room, that was enough.

Then Vira stepped back, she wanted to take the fruit salad that she had stored in the refrigerator yesterday, now she wanted to eat it. He passed by Weny casually and did not intend to say hello or just smile with the woman, Vira also did not care what was being cooked by her mother-in-law. When he opened the fridge and looked for fruit salad, it was nothing. Spontan Vira immediately asked, "Who took my fruit salad?"

In that instant, Weny and Desy turned their heads. Their faces were not happy to see Vira.

"From you're looking for your fruit salad, you better help with homework." Desy instead answered, but instead insinuated Vira. Actually she knew that Weny had eaten the fruit salad, but she did not want to say that her new daughter-in-law did not look like a thief.

"What did mom say? Doing housework? Why, why should I? Why not Mom's new daughter-in-law?" sahut Vira did not accept. "I'm not talking about homework anyway. I asked who took my fruit salad, Mom?" ask Vira again.

Then he glanced at Weny who looked relaxed, but Vira knew from the look of her eyes that Weny was hiding something. However, she did not want to say anything, she wanted that Weny confess herself.

"Just fruit salad stuff you're angry. Just buy it again, he said your salary money is big," said Desy.

"Mother is eating, why? You wanna get mad? You want to buy that fruit salad right now, huh?" snapped Mom Desy.

Vira had guessed that Desy would cover up the mistake of her daughter-in-law, Weny was very lucky to be loved by her mother-in-law. Unlike her who was always hated. In the end Vira could only throw a breath of air, then just step away. He didn't want to argue with anyone anymore.

"Where are you going? You mop first the floor of the house," orders Desy suddenly.

Hearing that Vira immediately turned around, she looked at Desy with her eyebrows twitched. "Mom told me? Why not just Mom's new daughter-in-law?"

"Mom told you to, why bring Weny. Saharian he's been cleaning the house. Don't talk much, hurry up the floor." Desy's mother lied again.

"Sorry, Mom. But I don't want to" Vira replied with emphasis.

"How dare you mel--"

"I'm sorry I cut the talk, but I don't want to do it. Mother was too pampering the daughter-in-law, she should have the initiative to help. What was he doing all day? Having him mop up the house won't make him die. Fatigue is a natural thing in doing housework, Mom. Weny should also be aware of her own responsibilities, does she not pity to see Mother exhausted herself in the kitchen and other work is still not finished? But he's just good at playing on the phone. Is that your dream daughter-in-law, Mom?" sela Vira at length.

He was too tired, wanting to let out all the resentment in his heart. "Why does Mom differentiate me? I was tired all day at the office. Can't she just do the housework? Does she have allergies doing housework?"

"Enough Vira!!" yudha suddenly came. Everyone who was there looked straight at him.

"Stop all that. You've been over."

"That's missing what, Mom? I'm telling the truth."

"You're a ti--"

"Enough. If in the end I'm the one who will be cornered here, you better not have to continue your words, Mas," said Vira quickly. Then he ran away from there with tears dripping down. He didn't want anyone to see his tears.
