PENGHALAM
Chapter 51. Move On

...I have loved someone more than I have loved myself. I once hung all my happiness on his presence. I never cared about anyone who came just so he wouldn't disappear. But in the end, he chose to leave me....

Luckily for Vira her pregnancy never interfered with her activities. All the woman felt was nausea, and that was only in the morning.

Vira is grateful because her baby seems to know if her mother only lives alone so it is never troublesome.

Vira has now entered its third month. His stomach did not appear distended yet, probably because of his slim body.

After breakfast Vira immediately left for work by driving his own car. He does not need a driver at this time.

Arriving at the company, Vira went straight to her study. The woman smiled seeing that there was a fruit salad and juice available on the table.

Every morning, a healthy breakfast is provided at her desk since she became pregnant. Vira knew it all on the orders of his superiors. He immediately ate the fruit until it was ravenous. Vira is unaware of Raka's presence. The man smiled looking at Vira who ate the fruit voraciously.

Raka remembered when his wife was pregnant young. Raka happily spoiled him. However, their happiness is only short, Raka's wife ends up miscarrying.

Two years expecting another pregnancy, but they are slapped into reality if his wife has uterine cancer which eventually takes her life. Until now he is still at home widowed even though the family has often betrothed to other women.

"Good Morning, Bumil," said Raka. His voice surprised Vira.

"Good Morning, Mr. Boss," Vira replied jokingly as well.

"I'm glad to see you ate it all so well. Because there are some women who have cravings until it is difficult to eat."

"Thankfully I didn't experience that, sir. Just sometimes a little bit of nausea and dizziness in the morning."

"Thank God. Then you're ready for our meeting later in the day."

"Ready, Mr. Boss," said Vira with his hand raised like a respectful person.

Without Vira guessing, Raka scrambled her hair in a daze. Things that the man never did. Raka who realized her hand was on Vira's head immediately pulled her. Smiling shy.

"Sorry, you're exhausted," said Raka slowly. Vira's eyes widened to hear his spontaneous boss's words. Raka smiled again before walking towards her desk.

In the house that Yudha bought for them to live in, it appears that Weny and her mother-in-law are having a little debate. It all happened after Yudha left the house for the office.

Since they moved, Weny asked Yudha if she would manage the finances instead of her mother-in-law. At first Yudha disagreed, but Weny continued to argue that his wife was not Desy's mother. The man had to agree.

Weny was in the kitchen and saw what had become breakfast this morning. The woman was angry because she thought the menu was not varied.

"Can't you cook other than this fried rice? I'm tired of having to eat this breakfast every day!" weny said in a loud voice.

"There are only eggs in the refrigerator. So what can you cook besides that?" ask Mom a little annoyed.

"Where's the shopping money I gave you yesterday. You buy anything?" ask Weny.

"You gave only two hundred thousand. That's it's been shopping sparingly so you can buy groceries for three days."

"So how much do you want me to give you? Should be smart mom shopping. Gotta save! When I used to live in the house of Miss Vira, I could shop a lot!" bent Weny.

"First you could shop at will because of your arranged shopping money," replied Desy's mother.

"So you want me to give all the money from Yudha into your hands? Do you think I'm Vira, who's stupid and just wants you to manage. Yudha's wife is me, not Mom. Don't expect me to manage this family's finances again. I don't want to!"

Mom took a heavy breath. Two months of financial no longer in control. All of Yudha's salary was held by the woman. Weny stood up from her seat.

"That mother should be grateful to still be accommodated here. So do not expect more to want to master everything. You need to remember, the queen in this house I'm not a mother. Don't expect more, until you master!" Weny stood up from her seat.

"I don't like this fried rice. I better order some food. I have to finish this rice. Before this fried rice runs out, do not eat another.Mubazir. Must be frugal because Yudha's salary is not much. It's been cut to pay for this house!" said Weny.

After saying that, Weny left mother alone in the kitchen. The woman ordered food to suit her taste.

Mom sat down after Weny disappeared from the kitchen. "Vira never denied anything I did. He also handed me money. I don't allow cooking. Right now it's all upside down" mum muttered to herself.
