After Weny's departure, Yudha watched with her mother. Mother brought snacks to accompany them to chat.
"Have you thought about my mother's words?" ask mother.
"Which Mom said that?" Instead of answering, Yudha asked.
Actually Yudha just pretended not to understand. He just doesn't want to talk about marriage anymore. Vira is still a woman whose throne can not be replaced. The man loved his wife very much.
"Weny's a good woman. Are you not interested in him?" ask me, I still don't give up.
Yudha took a deep and long breath. He could not fight or argue against what his mother wanted. It used to be that his marriage to Vira was almost void due to his unvaluing mother. However, when she found out Vira was going to give a lot of money to the party, she finally agreed.
If Yudha had not said that Vira had a well-established job, her mother might never have approved of their relationship.
"Mom, Weny's still a girl. Why did you set me up with him. He will not marry a married man. He will also not want to be polygamous" said Yudha finally.
"If you can persuade her, how?"
"Easy, Mom. Vira will listen. He must be sad to hear it."
"Mistake yourself! Why barren? He should be able to accept in honey, or can choose a divorce only," said the mother ketus.
Yudha took her breath back. He did not want to answer my mother's words. Fear of being carried away by emotions.
"Mom, I'm sleepy to rest." Pamit Yudha's.
Besides being lazy to hear his mother who always wanted him to get married again, Yudha also wanted to see Vira. The clock had shown ten o'clock, but his wife had not yet left the room for dinner.
"Mom, I hope you think about my advice. Who will look after you in your old age if you don't have children?" ask Desy's mom.
"Yes, Mom." Only that word came out of Yudha's lips.
Yudha opened the door slowly, afraid to wake her or disturb her. Looked like Vira was sleeping. The man sat on the edge of the bed. The voice of his wife's stomach.
"Honey, you must have fallen asleep with hunger in mind? Forgive me for accusing you" Yudha said, rubbing Vira's hair.
"You must have cried because I snapped earlier" Yudha said, rubbing Vira's hair.
The woman finally opened her eyes. Yudha smiled at his wife. Pecking forehead. However, it could not make Vira's heart touched. He turned his back to Yudha.
"I'm sorry, I. You haven't eaten. I'll get you some rice, right? You can get sick if you don't eat" Yudha said.
Without waiting for approval from his wife, Yudha walked out of the room to the kitchen. The man took a plate of rice complete with his side dish.
As she was about to enter the room, Desy's mother looked and stared cynically. He stood up after his son.
"Darling, sit. I'm a bribe" said Yudha softly.
Vira's awake. Tears fell down the woman's cheeks. Moved because it turns out her husband is still paying attention to her.
"Don't cry. I feel so guilty if you keep doing this. Smile!" yudha wiped away his wife's tears.
Yudha fed Vira with pain. Desy's mother who was looking from the doorway felt furious. The middle-aged woman walked up to the two.
"It's true that you're a wife. Yudha is tired of working, plus more work by serving you as a queen. I can't have children anymore, and I want to control my son!" said Mother Ketus.
"Mother, this is my will not be Vira" Yudha said.
"This is what makes your wife soar. It is wrong that you defend. Mom doesn't want to know. If you still value me as your mother, follow what I want. If you still keep arguing, I'd better leave. Can't stand to see your wife's play!" say Mother.
The woman walked out of her son's room with a very arrogant heart. He did not like to see Yudha indulging Vira.
"Mas, what do you want?" ask Vira.
The woman wanted to know, what did her mother-in-law want? Why did Yudha become silent at mother's words?
