PENGHALAM
Chapter 6. Mother-in-law's Request

Love can fade when the ordeal comes, you have to face the ordeal patiently, so that the beautiful love returns beautiful and does not leave you. I believe there is a second chance in life, and it seems like I'm fighting for it, which is getting your love again.

Half an hour passed, but Yudha did not go into the room to persuade Vira. Hearing the sound of the car engine, Vira peeked out of the window. Her husband and Weny got into the car and left the yard.

When the sound of the car had moved away, there was a knock on the door of his room. Vira walked slowly to open. Her mother-in-law was standing behind the door. Without Desy's mother's permission to come in and sit on the edge of the bed.

"I want to talk" said Vira's mother-in-law.

"Please, Mom. I'll hear it" Vira said softly. The woman sat next to her mother-in-law Desy.

"I want you to let go and ask Yudha to marry again" said Desy's mother.

Like hearing the sound of lightning during the day, that was how Vira felt when she heard Desy's mother say that. Vira looked at her mother-in-law in disbelief.

"Mother kidding?" ask Vira.

"What am I kidding for. There are no signs yet of you getting pregnant. Even though he resigned. It's time to get Yudha married again. My son and I want a descendant. Yudha's age was no longer young. If you wait for you to get pregnant, Yudha might die before holding her baby of flesh blood."

Vira's body felt weak to hear her mother-in-law's words. She did not expect that the woman would ask for anything difficult. Is this the request of her mother-in-law to Yudha? Think of Vira in the heart.

"Mom, I want a child too. But if God hasn't given me faith, what can I do? Don't ask for anything that's hard for me to accept, ma'am. Try to be in my position at this time, is the mother sincerely releasing her husband to be a double?" ask Vira.

Vira tries to hold back emotions. He also did not want to cry. Must look strong in the eyes of her mother-in-law.

"I've given you a chance for three years. Supposedly, if you really love Yudha, you let her marry again. Is not the happiness of Yudha also happiness for you?"

Vira's body felt weak, holding the bed sheet as a reinforcement. Should she let her husband marry again? Prepare himself for the mix? Vira just fell silent unable to say anything either.

The world stopped turning. If only Vira could choose, she also did not want to become a barren woman. But all of God's destiny. Does he regret all his destiny?

Desy's mother stood up from her seat. Staring at his daughter-in-law who looked down.

After saying that, Desy's mother left the room and Vira was alone. When her mother-in-law was lost from sight, Vira's body was on the floor. Crying broke.

"Yes, God what are these trials. What I should do. I cannot part with Yudha, I love her very much. But I can't afford honey either. Show me what path I choose best" Vira said in her heart.

Vira had no appetite all day. He just locked himself in the room. When her husband came home, Desy's mother immediately welcomed him.

"Look at your spoiled wife's behavior" said Mother in a high voice.

"What's up with Vira, Mom? I'm tired!" yudha.

Yudha sat on the family room sofa. Budgeting his tie to breathe free air. Desy's mother also sat down.

"Your wife from the morning doesn't want to go out of the room, all the work mom does. What is the use of her as a wife? You'd better divorce her, let her know herself" said Mother with emotion.

"What did you say? I will never divorce Vira. I love her."

"Love? Do you think that by just capitalizing on love and messraan can get offspring? Your wife is barren. You must not be selfish, Yudha. Mom's getting old. You also want to feel like you have a grandchild before you die, like any other friend. That's also for your future. Who will look after you in old age if you have no offspring?" ask mother.

From the corner of the mother's eyes came tears dripping down her wrinkled cheeks. Yudha did not see her sad mother. The body of the woman who gave birth to her.

"Do you want your mother to die before you can feel like you have a grandchild?" ask Mom in a hoarse voice.

"Alright, Mom. I'll tell you all of your wishes with Vira. May he be sincere and willing if I marry again" Yudha said.

Desy's mother smiled at her son's words. Finally his desire to marry Yudha was granted.
