PENGHALAM
Chapter 63. I'm Not a Reserve

Vira has understood why her late ex-husband came and apologized. After Weny was caught lying, she hoped for the child that Vira conceived.

"So Mas came to me after finding out that Weny was lying and that the child she was carrying was not your child. Now you wish this child of mine was your flesh and blood. I'm not an impingement when the main cast isn't around."

Vira's chest feels claustrophobic knowing that. He felt like he was just a backup. So is the baby in her womb. If only Yudha had not known that the child Weny contained was not her child, she would not have looked for Vira, the woman thought.

"It's not so, Vira. I just realized everything after being slapped in reality if Weny wasn't a good woman."

"If you don't know it means you'll stick with your stance if this child isn't your son!" vira said a little emotionally.

Yudha was silent, perhaps stringing up what he was going to say. The man looked like he was breathing deeply.

"Keep thinking if this child isn't your son. There are others who love themselves. I don't expect mercy from you. This baby is not just an outlet of your disappointment. You're outrageous, Mas. Your coming is not to heal my heart, but to add to it. Don't come if you're not sure about your decision!"

Vira stood up from her seat. He did not want to linger with the man. Her heart grew more hurt and slammed to hear the explanation from her ex-husband. The man came not sincerely from his heart but because he was disappointed in Weny's lies.

Yudha chased after Vira and held back her steps by holding onto Vira's wrist. The woman finally stopped walking.

"What else, Mom? It wasn't enough all this time that you've been giving me the wounds, so you're adding more and more with my son. You can insult me but not my son. Even though he wasn't born, I loved him with all my heart."

"Vira, I'm sorry.Never did I mean that. I'm really sorry for what I've done."

"Are you the only apologies you can say to me, Mom. Do you think I'm an angel who never had any heartache. I can't accept all of your attitude. I hope never to see me again until I can make peace with the situation and sincerely accept everything. Let time answer everything."

Vira let go of Yudha's hand. Walk away from the man.

"I know saying sorry won't be enough for everything that's hurt you, but I'll keep saying it a million times until you forgive me. Ii'm sorry. I still don't understand how I could hurt you, with all my heart I beg you to forgive me, you are all I have," Yudha said in a slightly loud voice to let Vira hear.

Vira kept walking without any more care for Yudha. Stop the taxi and ask to deliver to the company.

Arriving at the company, the woman went straight to the elevator and pressed a button to the floor of her study. As soon as he opened the study, Vira saw Raka who was standing at the window staring out.

Vira slightly ran over and hugged the man, making Raka startled. Her crying broke out on the chest of her superior.

"Who made you runaway? For me you are the main one," said Raka slowly, but can be heard by Vira.

Vira let go of her embrace, looking at her boss's face. No lies are seen.

"Sorry, Sir. Her clothes were wet from my tears" said Vira, looking at the man's wet clothes.

"I have another shirt. Do I know why you're crying?" ask Raka.

Vira took her breath. He doesn't know where to start.

"Easy! Forget it if you think it's personal. I'm sorry!" Raka said.

The man walked to his desk. Opening a laptop, starting a job.

"Have you had lunch?" ask Vira to approach her desk.

"Why ...?" Instead of answering Vira's question, the man even asked back.

"I'm hungry. He said you want to have lunch with me" said Vira slowly.

Raka was shocked to hear the woman's words. Actually Raka has lunch. She asked the Goddess to order food.

"Have you not had lunch with your ex-husband?" ask Raka again.

"No, Sir. I promised you, I have to eat with other people. How will Father?" ask Vira

Hearing the woman's words Raka smiled. Because Vira still remembers her promise.
