PENGHALAM
Chapter 81. Mother Desy's Request

Raka and Vira's marriage had passed two weeks ago. He felt very happy because Raka was very considerate. Not only her husband, but the entire Raka family received Vira and Leon with open arms.

The house phone rang just as Vira was about to wash her clothes. While carrying a basket of clothes that were not too big, he approached and picked up the house phone that rang. Vira was quite surprised when she heard the voice of the person across there. Of course he recognized the familiar voice in his ears. It was her former mother-in-law who was none other than Desy's mother.

Vira sighed silently. She knew that the current circumstances did indeed make Mother Desy feel very guilty and also regretful. She also understands that Desy's mother still hopes that Vira and her ex-husband can return to the way they used to. But what to say, now Vira has become the wife of others, which in other words can no longer return to Yudha.

I have apologized several times. Regretting everything he ever did to Vira.

"Oh, how are you, ma'am?" ask Vira.

"Mother's healthy. How about yourself? You all right? What about your son?"

"I'm fine, Mom. My son is fine too. Everything's normal here and there's nothing to worry about." Vira tried to make her voice sound very cheerful.

Actually there was a little discomfort in his heart when it came to talking to his former mother-in-law. However, her current status is that of Raka's wife. He did not want Raka to misunderstand when he still had connections with the Yudha family.

According to him, for now, it might be better if you focus on your life, no longer need to look back to avoid misunderstandings. He just wants to calm down.

"Before I congratulated you on your marriage to that man named Raka. I also feel that your new family can now take care of you and even your son."

Vira does not respond with any sentences. He was very sensitive and also knew that the sentence was not finished. There is still more important things that make Mother Desy call him like this more than just asking for news or also congratulating her on her marriage. That's why he just kept quiet and waited for Mother Desy to speak again.

"Mom understands that you are happy with your new family now. You must feel a lot calmer than when you were with us. I can assure you that we won't interfere with your life after this. I only have one request for you."

I don't know why Vira's heart was even faster when he heard the last sentence. What request. Mother Desy's words hanging make her even paranoid. He was afraid that the request would be very difficult for him to do even more so if he had to ask Raka for permission.

"What request, yes, Mom?" ask Vira carefully. In any case still do not want to offend Mother Desy.

"Mom just wants you to let us see your son. After all the father of the child was Yudha. That's our only request. The rest have no other requests. We won't interfere in your life."

Vira was silent for a moment. He knew that there was still pain in his heart when he remembered his past, first how Mother Desy and Yudha accused him.

However, at this time he was also conscious and could choose to be mature. Even if he hurt the two people, his son still did not know what happened. His son still has no grudge against Yudha or Mother Desy. It feels selfish when he separates his own son from his biological father.

"Of course, Mom. I understand exactly what Mother or Yudha wants. I also felt that it was unfair that I would keep my own son away from his father. After all my son is still the responsibility of his father."

Desy's mother was very happy to hear the approval of her former daughter-in-law. Finally after this he felt very relieved.

As he said earlier, he would no longer ask for anything else from his ex-daughter-in-law. One such request had already been granted was enough for him.

"Thank God, if indeed you still allow us to look at your son. I am so grateful for your generosity."

"No need to thank you, ma'am. I can't possibly separate the son and the father. But I also asked for time to talk about all this to Raka first. At any rate, I'm married, so everything I do is with her permission."

After Vira spoke to Desy's mother over the phone, of course she immediately talked about it with her husband. He just wanted to make sure that Raka did not feel that it was a problem with it and did not get angry at him because he made his own decision without discussing with Raka first.

"Why do you look worried like that? Isn't there no one more worthy of your son than you? So it does not matter at all when you allow others to visit him, especially his biological father and also his grandmother. I'm sure they both regretted it, right?" ask Raka.

"I'm afraid Mas is uncomfortable with the presence of my ex-husband" said Vira.

"I believe in you. You definitely will not do things that make me upset or dislike me" said Raka.

"I love you, Mas" said Vira softly in embarrassment. With Yudha back then, he never expressed his feelings openly.

"I also love you very much" Raka replied.

Vira hugged her husband. Kissing Raka's cheeks. The man also replied to her. He was happy because he was finally able to become the husband of the woman he loved so much.

Raka could understand Yudha's feelings and position herself on the man. It would definitely hurt if she was kept away from her own son.

Vira was relieved that her husband was not angry at all. He knew that Raka would never be angry at him. Raka is also wise enough to deal with this kind of problem.

And soon after that Yudha and Desy's mother often visited Vira's son. They both looked very happy even more so when buying many gifts for the child.

Not feeling at all bothered. Yudha often carried her son. I felt happiness in his heart.

Of course Vira is also happy because of that. Although he now has a new life with Raka, at least he is still happy that Yudha can still be a responsible father for his son.

Vira also did not see that her husband felt troubled because of the presence of Yudha and also Desy's mother there. Her husband continued to work as usual, even occasionally greeting Yudha.

For now Vira has not returned to work, she still wants to take care of her baby for a while longer. At this age, the baby needs her presence. He did not want to miss an important moment with the boy. She must be the closest person to her own child. It's hard to hire a babysitter for that matter.

Fortunately, her husband did not bother about it. Raka always leaves the decision to Vira when the problem is about Vira herself or her child.

Raka strongly believes that Vira is mature enough to deal with her own problems. All the decisions taken by Vira have gone through various considerations, not taken for granted.

At least he was very grateful to see Vira who was getting happier every day. He made her feel like he had become a husband to her. It sparks his spirit to continue to give the best for Vira and also his son, no matter at all when the child is not his biological child.

Terms to make Vira happy one of them must also make her son happy.

He can wait any length of time until Vira decides to go back to work. What is certain is that Raka is not at all troubled if Vira focuses on taking care of her children at home.
