The Ordenz Border Town
The Kanza group consisting of Kanza, Erfila and Ritter arrived at the Border Town of Ordenz this morning. Before continuing the journey, they rested first to recover the stamina that had been drained in the previous trip.
The three stopped at a simple but quality restaurant, ordering various dishes to fill an empty stomach. While enjoying the dishes that the three of them had provided began to talk about various things, but the essence of the conversation was the problem experienced by Erphila and the Efidoxia Kingdom.
Erfila Lercuela Ni Efidoxia was the daughter of the King of Ephidoxia, Koulzar Lercuela Ni Efidoxia and was the only child of her. Since childhood Erphila's fate was already determined by King Ephidoxia, as the only child she should be able to lead the Efidoxia Kingdom in the future.
Personality, Ethics and Strength, Erfila must be able to learn all that in order to later master the Efidoxia Kingdom well even though she is a Woman. But the case where a Woman becomes the Leader of a Kingdom or Empire is very rare and often associated with destruction.
Therefore, many people opposed King Ephidoxia's decision to make Erphila the King of the Kingdom. In exchange for the Opposition, they proposed an Idea whereby Erphila should marry a Prince from another Kingdom who would later, be made the successor to the throne of the Kingdom of Efidoxia.
King Ephidoxia certainly strongly opposed this proposal, not only sacrificing Erphila's happiness, but this proposal also violated the Traditions and Rules for making an outsider a King. However, one by one, the party who opposed the decision of King Ephidoxia grew, so that half of the influential people in the Kingdom of Efidoxia became opponents of his decision.
Opposition is the seed of betrayal, without agreement it is certain. The kingdom of Ephidoxia was then divided into two camps, the first being the opposition and the second the defenders.
The more the day, the opposing camp grew bigger until it reached the point where the opposing camp was bigger than the defenders. This harsh reality caused King Efidoxia to be cornered, and faced with two very heavy choices. Then came the time when King Ephidoxia would announce the decision he had made.
King Ephidoxia announced that he would follow the proposals of the opponents. The opponents smiled triumphantly and the defenders could only accept the decision of King Ephidoxia.
Long story short, everyone thought, that the decision of King Ephidoxia would end the dispute between two different camps. But all was not as simple as expected, although King Ephidoxia had accepted the proposal of the opposition, but basically the opponents were traitors.
A few days after the announcement of the decree, King Ephidoxia was killed and found by Queen Ephidoxia in a lifeless state. Then, as if taking advantage of this opportunity to remove all obstacles, the people who were the defenders were accused of being the mastermind of the assassination of King Ephidoxia by the opposing camp.
The accusation was reinforced by a reason stated by the opposing camp that the defense did not accept the decision of King Ephidoxia and ended up killing him.
At first Erphila did not take any side, he was the Neutral side who would accept any decision taken by the King of Ephidoxia. But because her father had been murdered, and Erfila was so convinced that the mastermind behind all this was the opposition, she sided with the defenders and tried to reverse the charge to get rid of the traitors.
Disputes between the two sides have resumed. Defenders who seek to defend their Kingdom from traitors and opponents who seek to take over the Kingdom. The two are against each other, and are not denied to fight each other.
The Ephidoxian Kingdom was in chaos and on the verge of destruction.
"But in the end, the defenders, you lost, right?" Kanza interrupts Erfila.
Erfila's sad expression displayed as she nodded weakly at Kanza. Ritter Zorrano also seemed to be unable to do anything as a personal bodyguard of this Efidoxia Princess.
'What an unreliable man.' Think Kanza.
"Huh ... By the way, even though this opposition camp is bigger than the defenders, you guys shouldn't lose that easily, right?"
Kanza felt something strange, when Erfila mentioned that the strength of the opposing camp was slightly above the defense camp. But the fact that the defenders have been defeated in just a matter of days makes no sense.
'Except ...' Kanza.
"They have strong reinforcements." Erfila lirih.
'I'm guessing ...'
Some betrayals that occur in the World always have an outside party as the main mastermind. Now the problem Kanza should know is, who is behind this betrayal?
"Do you know which side is helping this opposition?"
Erfila stared resignedly, then shook her head slowly, "I don't know." she said.
Contrary to the mind of the kanza who expects an answer from Erfila, one who answers Kanza's expectations is Ritter Zorrano, his bodyguard.
"They ..." Ritter Zorrano stared hatefully at the empty air as he clenched his hand, "... Lodysna Empire."
Erfila immediately looked at Ritter curiously, "Ritter, how do you know that?"
"Ehm, that's Miss ..." Ritter turned his gaze away from the curious Erfila, for some reason he looked nervous when stared at by Erfila like that.
"I know from the armour that guy was wearing. The armor has the same emblem as the special forces of the Lodysna Empire." Obviously Ritter.
Instead of understanding, Erfila instead looked at Ritter growing more curious, "Where did you study the Empire until you found out the emblem of their army? As far as I know, you've never learned anything about them."
"Oh?" Kanza narrowed her eyes as she looked at Ritter. But all of that was immediately eliminated by Kanza.
"No matter if it's the Lodysna Empire or whatever, I will still help you to represent the Hero of Aulzania." Kanza said confidently.
Erfila who heard Kanza's confident words thanked him while bowing sincerely. Not to forget, Ritter said the same thing even in a slightly different way.
Their conversation continued to the point where Kanza asked, about who exactly is this person wearing the Armor of the Lodysna Empire, and how strong is he?
"His name is Ernens, the man who calls himself the [Heavenly Guardian]." Answer Erfila.
As soon as Erfila told who the man really was, Kanza rounded her eyes wide in great shock. Kanza's shock was caused by two reasons, first was [Heavenly Guardian] and second was [Ernens].
'Ernens the Heavenly Guardian, I didn't think he existed and was still alive in this World.' Benak Kanza speaking.
Ernens, he is a player who is ranked 13th in the entire COTHENIC. As Erfila said, Ernens had the [Heavenly Guardian] job which was the Special Job of a Tanker.
Because someone who sucks like him gets a rare Special Job, people become jealous and hate him. Envy and hate of those people even make her fame soaring, but of course in a bad way.
'Tch, a very sudden appearance.' Kanza protested in his Heart.
An Assassin like Kanza would not be benefited when fighting a Tank like Ernens. Moreover, the [Heavenly Guardian] that Kanza knew was an infuriating Job, where this Job not only provided a defensive Skill but also provided an assault Skill.
Kanza's facial complexion turned serious when taking into account the victory that could be achieved by her. Kanza's seriousness left Erfila and Ritter confused, preferring to keep watching.
'After all, I have an 80% chance of winning if only against Ernens alone. However, there are definitely people who bother, and 50% is the possibility of resisting me if it goes against all of them.'
Do not rule out the possibility there are also other players who are not less powerful than Ernens. As such, Kanza could only estimate the chances of her winning were 50-50% if it concerned an unknown enemy.
"I asked, is he a grown man who has white hair and is combed back with a super annoying face?" Kanza suddenly asked.
"Humm? How do you know?" Erfila tilted her head.
As for Ritter, he instead stared suspiciously at Kanza, "Does he have anything to do with you?"
Kanza held back a laugh when Ritter suspected herself like that. Inwardly, Kanza swears that even if the World is destroyed she will never be in a relationship, with someone as annoying as Ernens.
"You kidding? I hate him, he's like my nemesis! That's why I was surprised to hear his name."
Kanza is one of those people who hates Ernens without having to meet him. So it can be said, Kanza hates Ernens only because of the words of people who mention how annoying Ernens. It's not that Kanza has met Ernens or Ernens has done anything that sucks her.
While Kanza was laughing, Ritter watched Kanza carefully, but after a while, Ritter did not find the slightest lie in Kanza. Then, Ritter ended his curly gaze at Kanza and regained his composure.
Kanza sighed and revealed determined Eyes, "No matter if he's Ernens or Gen-x though, as long as it's not R.Styx I won't be afraid to fight him."
As Kanza said that, Erfila and Ritter fell silent because they did not understand what Kanza meant. However, their silence was also accompanied by thoughts, about who the two people called Kanza were before besides Ernens.
"Not to think about it ..."
'Kanza.'
The sound of Ren entering the Chief made Kanza suddenly flinch. How could a person who was supposed to be far away in Aulzania City be able to talk to her? Kanza doesn't understand. But Kanza also realized, Ren's voice that spoke was not Illusion or anything like that.
'Is Mr Dirvaren around here?' Kanza wondered, and decided to look for her.
"Ugh, I've been holding this daritadi. Allow me to pee for a while." Kanza said as she moved with an awkward smile.
Kanza walked out of the restaurant, leaving Erfila and Ritter still silent inside. Without further ado, Kanza instantly dives into the shadows, with his Mana Perception doubling in the shadows, hoping to find Ren faster.
"Eh? Are you a monitor?!"
Kanza protested a bit when he discovered the existence of Ren in the highest building in the City. Not to forget, a question also arises in Kanza's mind, about how Ren sends sound from such a distance?
After a moment of moving in the shadow, Kanza arrived there and went straight out of the shadows saying, "You called me?"
