The Crown Of The Nine Continents

The Crown Of The Nine Continents
Chapter 13: Duke Fedel

Fraudlin who had seen Ren leave immediately returned to the auction.

There was much he had to do, however he was still the alchemy master of the capital.

Unfortunately Fraudlin has no confidence in her abilities anymore after seeing Ren, Fraudlin only hopes that Ren is willing to become her teacher.

"Maybe the Master is a messenger of gods, it is impossible for someone like that to be an ordinary human" Fraudlin muttered as she laid her body on the bed.

Tomorrow Fraudlin will still have to return to the royal capital. For that Fraudlin must immediately sleep so as not to wake up late the next day.

Fraudlin felt that she was getting older.

Fraudlin was asleep

The next day...

Fraudlin had prepared to go back to the capital. This time Fraudlin was checking the goods on her train. Fraudlin was slightly surprised, seeing that there was a large enough black box near her item.

"Mysterious box? it's not mine." Fraudlin held her chin.

Because I was curious that Fraudlin opened the box. Fraudlin widened her eyes, inside the Box were two bottles of potions. One was pale red, one had a pure red color.

"T-can't be?! Which Life Potion contains pure mana?!" Fraudlin yells.

Fraudlin tried to calm herself down, in the box was a paper that looked like a letter.

This paper is strangely pure white without any stains. Unlike the existing paper produced by this kingdom.

"This letter...." Fraudlin opened it and read it.

[Yes. Fraudlin, if you've read this it means you've seen both potions, right? Haha... Take it easy, it is a medium and upper Potion. I just want to ask you one thing, learn those two potions. If you've got something from that potion that matches my expectations then I'll raise you to become a disciple! Think of this well - well. You can also take the potion, but you will never be my disciple. Well.. Even though it's a regular potion. hahahah]

After reading the entire contents of this letter touched Fraudlin's heart.

Not only was it allowed to see a Life Potion that flowed pure mana, but it was also allowed to research it.

Plus if Fraudlin could produce something that could meet Master Ren's expectations, she could be made his apprentice.

"Master Ren's... I will try hard!!" Fraudlin rounded out her resolve with a passion that was not suitable at her old age.

A week had passed since Ren auctioned off the Core of the Great Lion King and earned a large sum of money.

During this week, Ren had only been searching through the city for information. The result is Ren getting information - information that might be useful to Ren in the future.

One of those pieces of information was about the daughter of Duke Fedel Alvadio, the ruler of Ceeven City.

There is news that Princess Duke named Ferlin Alvadio is having difficulty in learning magic.

Ferlin Alvadio was originally sent to the capital to enter the Aulzania Academy.

But due to his Low Magic Level he did not pass the selection and came back feeling disappointed.

Duke Fedel is looking for a teacher who can teach his daughter magic.

Ren thought that it was impossible for Duke Fedel to find a person who could teach his Princess magic well in this Ceeven City.

For this reason, Ren's plan today is to go to Duke Fedel's residence in the city center. Ren plans to become the teacher of Duke Fedel's daughter.

Ren thought that establishing a connection with an important person would smooth his plan in the future.

"Hahaha, I have an idea about this. Let's go, Duke Fedel just wait for me!" Ren smiled eeriely.

Ren this time wore a set of black robes. It's just black, making Ren look like a real witch. Not forgetting that Ren used glasses accessories so that he gave the impression of a strong Master.

Ren left for the Duke's residence using the Horse Car he had bought.

At first Ren plans to buy the House but Ren cancels the Plan.

Downtown was not far from Ren's residence, just a few minutes Ren could see a large Mansion in the center of the city.

Duke Fedel's mansion is the largest building in the entire city of Ceeven making Ren can realize it easily.

Ren's carriage stopped right in front of the gate of Duke Fedel's Mansion.

The two people guarding on either side of the gate were visibly alert by the presence of the incoming horse carriage.

It was at that moment that Ren came out, with his elegantly walking Ren. Making the two guards amazed.

In the hearts of these two guards only contained the question, Who is this young man?.

"I'd like to meet Duke Fedel, will he be able to see me?" Ren asked in an honorable tone.

The two guards looked at each other. The guard on the right spoke.

"Please wait a minute. I'm going to ask you this question on Duke Fedel's right hand, Uhm and can you tell me what the reason for your arrival here is?" The soldier asked politely. They think that Ren is an important person.

"I'm a witch who wants to help Princess Duke can you tell this to Duke?" Ren answered.

A few minutes later, the soldier returned.

"Master, you're allowed in. Please follow me."

Ren is guided by the guard to enter Duke Fedel's mansion.

Ren feels a little guilty because the Goner he has killed turns out to be Duke Fedel's subordinate. Luckily Ren's appearance was very different at the time. So Ren got his confidence to meet with Duke Fedel and his daughter.

"Please sir over here." The guard pointed at a large door.

"Do I have to go in by myself?" Ren asked the guard.

"True sir, only interested persons may enter Duke Fedel's Office." Guards explained.

The guard then left, leaving Ren standing at the door alone. Ren was still thinking whether to tap or directly open it.

In the end Ren decided to knock on his door.

Geck, Tok, Tok.

"Who is that?"

A heavy voice from a man sounded from within.

Ren was confused as to what to answer.

"I am Ren Styx a witch who might be able to help Duke." Ren spoke politely.

"Witch? Come in, I've been waiting for you."

Ren slowly opened the door after hearing the answer.

A room that looks antique and classy enters Ren's view.

At the end of the window of the room, there was a table and chair with paper piled on it.

A middle-aged man was sitting, next to him was another middle-aged man. It is clear that the one sitting is Duke Fedel himself.

"Greetings, Dear Duke Fedel. My name is Ren Styx, a witch from out of town." Ren spoke while bowing in the manner of nobles.

"Pulse.. You want to teach my daughter magic, right? It's simple, if you can help my daughter learn magic. I'll grant you your wish." Duke Fedel looked at Ren seriously.

"Hart, get my daughter here." The Duke ordered the person by his side.

"All right..." Hart then left the room.

Only Ren and Duke were left in the room. But before long the Duke opened his mouth and told Ren to sit down.

The two of them slightly discussed the problems experienced by Princess Duke.

According to what Duke Fedel said, His daughter has stopped developing in terms of magic by the age of 7.

At first Princess Duke can learn Magic with Normal, but after the age of 7 years Princess Duke always fails in controlling her magic.

Ren immediately reached a conclusion after hearing this. The problem that Princess Duke faced was none other than mana deviation.

Skipt.Tuk.tuk.

The sound of shoes rang out, before long the door opened. The two people who entered the Room were Hart and the Princess of Fedel's Duke, Ferlin.

Ferlin who had just entered the Room immediately turned his attention to the new Master that Hart was talking about. At that moment...

Badum, Badum, Badum..

Ferlin's heartbeat quickened, his face flushed red looking at the person sitting with his father.

'W-Who is this guy? Tampann once!' Ferlin shouted in his heart.

Although she was embarrassed, Ferlin kept her composure and honor.

Ferlin moved towards his father...

"Dad, is this the teacher you're talking about?" Ferlin asked in a plain tone.

"True Daughter, Introduce She is Ren Styx a witch from out of town." Duke Fedel explained to Ferlin.

"Greetings to Miss. I am just an ordinary witch. Don't you be so polite to me." Ren spoke sincerely and smiled slightly.

"Eh.. Yep. Mr. Ren. If you don't mind." Ferlin replied with a flushed face.

Seeing Ferlin Ren's Reaction just smiled awkwardly at him.

The appearance of the body he now had indeed always left Ren in trouble. Ren did not feel the slightest bit happy, Ren felt this body was not his real body.

"So, when can my daughter's training be done?" Fedel glanced at Ren

"Pulse... It doesn't matter now either." Ren answered confidently.

The father and son looked at each other, then agreed.

Ren requested that the training be conducted in an open and spacious enough place.

Duke Fedel fulfilled this request and provided an empty plot of land for Ren to teach Ferlin.
