The Crown Of The Nine Continents

The Crown Of The Nine Continents
Chapter 122 ~ Chaos Holy Kingdom Sancteral IV

The next day Rusava and Rakuza move in to begin a dangerous infiltration task on the Temple of Light which is the most important building in Zarisma City.

Both are wearing all-black clothes to make it easier to blend in the chaos. For his own time, Rusava decided to leave at a time when the sun was right overhead. Perhaps this is a little strange but the reason given by Rusava can be said to be plausible and absurd.

"Huh? At night you said? No way, infiltration at night was too very common. The sun is right overhead, that's the best time!" rusava replied when Rakuza asked when they would perform this task.

But don't get me wrong, Rusava gives a little explanation that is reasonable enough to strengthen his decision.

At night, the guards would be more wary of the spies because it was a normal time for them to come out. As for daylight, they would not have expected that the spies would come out at a time like this.

As a result Rakuza chose to give up and obey what Rusava said instead of them arguing and spending longer. Raytsa could not argue anything because he was confident in Rusava's decision.

After having a discussion one hour before the appointed time, Rusava and Rakuza began this task of infiltration. They move in tandem from the shadow of the building to the shadow of another building.

Although not perfect, the two tried their best to suppress mana and hide the air of existence. As long as the enemy they were facing was not a disguise monster this would be unknown.

[Note: The monster here has meaning, someone with extraordinary powers]

The movement of those who pass through the shadow of a lonely place with ordinary people passing by on the streets, is like a two-sided world. One is darkness and silence and the other is light and crowds.

The city of Zarimas has a large area, almost or even larger than the City of Aulzania. Civilization here also looks more advanced, as evidenced by some equipment that can not be found in the Kingdom of Aulzania can be found here.

At first glance, Zarimas City is like a city on a peaceful, peaceful, and comfortable lake. But there is always the bad side of the good side, it cannot be denied anymore.

"We're almost there, increase your alertness!" Rakuza warned.

"Okay, I'll try."

Rusava did say they were almost there, but that's not the case. Their challenge in infiltrating was just about to enter the first stage.

>Making Through Bridge<

Once again, Zarimas is a city built on a lake. This lake is also called Lake Zarimas and has a shape that is almost perfectly round to make it possible to build a beautiful city on it.

The city area which is where the building of ordinary residents is the outskirts of the lake and land. While the Temple of Light which is the center of it all is in the middle of the lake.

To connect the Temple of Light with the city and the mainland, four bridges were formed. The bridge itself is directly connected to the road that connects the central region with the other four regions.

Rusava and Rakuza had to cross one of the bridges to infiltrate the Temple of Light. As an intruder having to pass through open space and minimal darkness like a bridge is a difficulty.

However, the difficulty grew as there would be several knights patrolling through this bridge.

"How is this, Mr Rusava?"

"No other choice, can you swim?"

Rakuza who was initially observing the situation suddenly turned her head towards Rusava quickly while rounding her eyes.

"Eh, are you serious? Isn't there a monster on the lake like this?"

Hearing a silly question from Rakuza, Rusava looked back at him in surprise while replying with a slight emphasis on words.

"That doesn't matter, is the determination to save your friend just this? Then you better get back to the inn."

Assassins like Rakuza are not stranded in the water, it is indeed an indisputable fact. Unless there was a special case where an Assassin possessed a certain skill in water, then that fact was no longer valid.

However, did Rakuza really feel fear? Didn't he promise to save Kina?

"No, I'll follow you, Mr. Rusava."

Seeing that determination was back in Rakuza's eyes made Rusava smile a little and said in his heart that that was what a man should have. Moreover, this matter had to do with the woman he was most likely to like.

"Good, wait for the quietest moments and we will jump right away. Remember, stay under the bridge."

Rakuza nodded, the mountain he would climb, the sea he would cross, the storm he would pass, all that he would do to save his friend. He would not let a lake dampen his resolve.

"Now!"

They both moved as fast as lightning. It only took one second for the two of them to jump into the lake.

BYURR!!

The deep lake and the cold water did not affect the two people, they continued to swim and swim in the shadows of the bridge. There were times when Rusava and Rakuza had to dive to avoid the supervision of the patrolling knights, and it lasted for several minutes.

The giant Garuda bird was cool lying casually on the top of a mountain field. Its mystical and dignified appearance can prove that it is no ordinary Garuda Bird.

It was so comfortable that he fell asleep to the point of not realizing that there was one existence that was fast approaching towards him. That existence had arrived, and was showing the figure of a red-eyed man with red wings on his back.

"Indacrus, you haven't seen me in a while and this is the welcome you've given me?"

His voice and sentence made Indacrus have a bad dream with a trembling body. Indacrus instantly snapped out of his sleep, as if he had been struck by a powerful bolt of lightning.

Indacrus rolled his eyes to look at the figure that spoke, after which he further rounded his eyes as he had not expected the figure to appear in a place like this.

"Hm?! W-forgive me my disrespectful attitude. Sir, why are you in this place?" Indacrus rose up slowly and faced Ren while bowing his head.

Ren was silent with a sharp look while giving off an aura of intimidation. The depressed Indacrus shook violently and thought he had made a grave mistake.

Unfortunately, he misunderstood. Ren instantly eliminated all of that and chuckled a little to indicate that he was joking.

"Joking, you don't have to be so down. Look at you right now, if someone else sees, they'll think you're a chicken."

"Chicken? Uh, Chicken?!" Indacrus shouted.

Is that how he is in his master's eyes? No more than a chicken? How is it possible, all this time he felt proud of himself but it turned out ....

"Once again you overreact. Can't you show a little more than the dignity of a Legendary [Beast Servant]?" renn asked with a smile of wonder.

"I can .. but in front of a great person like the Continents Holder, we don't dare to consider ourselves tall."

Ren frowned, what is with the nostalgic feeling that appears suddenly in this Indacrus?

"Hm, put that matter aside. How are the three of them?"

The reason Indacrus was in this place was already unquestionable. The existence of a striking Garuda Bird seems unlikely to be brought into the city, unless he can turn into an ordinary bird like Avrogan who became an ordinary horse.

"I'm not sure. Ever since the three of them entered the city, only counted twice they returned here. And that's been a while, sir."

"What did they say during those two meetings?" ask Ren back.

"Not by much, they just say the condition of the city has very tight security that makes it difficult to find further information."

"Oh, they also said that the security of the city increased at the second meeting, after which they did not appear again."

Tightened security made it impossible for them to freely enter and exit the city. After all, this was a reasonable thing for all sorts of reasons.

If the security of the city was further tightened then it would be very difficult for the three of them to progress in finding information. It is also possible that they are not progressing at all.

But there was one thing that Ren was difficult to understand, how could some guards trouble a [True Ancestors] like Rusava?

"No, not even for Rusava it seems like it will be difficult because I told them to act safely myself."

Safe means to hide. It also meant that they were not allowed to do battle except in urgent circumstances. Even if they had no progress at all, Ren might feel disappointed.

"I've understood. All right, are you going to come with us or stay here alone?" Ren offered to Indacrus.

"Wait a minute, what do you mean by us?"

"Avrogan and others are waiting down there. I ask you one more time, are you coming or not?"

"So he too .. ahh, based on your words, it looks like something big is going to happen huh? But of course I'll come!"

Ren let out a smile that did not deny the Indacrus question. Ever since he messed up in the city of Soliedavosa, avoiding the battle was almost impossible.

"Well, let's go."
